They come in two, biped, I let myself killed. Is this the correct monster you talking about?

And where should I take the quests before it's expired?

I think its supposed to auto give you a quest. If not check your buffs/debuffs in character sheet and see? Otherwise might not be right spawns.

became a vampire last night and it totaly changed my perception of my character within seconds... i went from scared to fight to MUUUUUUST FEEEEEEEEED KILLL KILLLL KILLL

South of Deepwood (I think), I found a quest named "The Hound's Men" which involves Werewolf. I saw some people suiciding himself to this mob lol.

I checked my debuffs, see nothing, so I guess this is not the one

I got infected by Bloodfiends at the Northern most red dot on this map of The Rift and my brother got infected at the Southern most red dot.

The whole map is a location actualy but i know South of dune works i got bite on the road litteraly South of a town. 20 people became a vampire that day as we scanned the whole map for one.

Life drain is... with but a single cast i deal a good 240 damage at lvl 20 with it (prety much more then half of a mob health) and heals for 150% of that! Thats the power hungry feeling ive always been seeking as a vampire... now i cant stop myself using it constantly..

I cant tell how this happened but my character feeling went from a scaredy cat affraid to fight and fighting constantly on the defensive to an all out Bloodcrazed maniac

Hmm damn, that's a pretty good attack then....bleh I can't decide whether to pursue werewolf or vampire on my main (khajiit) >_<

I would go for Vampire if you have lots of Magika and Werewolf if you have lots of Stamina.

both are viable and the third option is to just not do it and become a fighter guild specialist... the fourth is to do neither of these keep your point for something else (like crafting) and be food to the next vampire or lycan that find you in alliance war. Me? Ill be feeding on their corpse of course

Ill just say that vampirism alone even at lvl 1 easily transform even the wimpy healer wich was effraid of fighting all the time into a dangerous psychopath.

Same as Vamps.
Supposedly they are Vampires sometimes and Werewolfs sometimes???

I believe so. It's hard to tell without seeing it for yourself though. There are so many people hanging around these areas deliberately spreading misinformation that it's hard to get solid info.

But yeah, I invested nothing into stamina, and will go mainly magika / health for my nightblade. My only concern with Vampire is the reduced health regen and the loss of fire resistance.

Look at your current health regen, I don't know about you but mine is 14 health every two seconds. It honestly won't make or break me to have that gone, plus you'll get a cool new spell that lets you steal life. Fire resistance may be able to be taken care of with fire resistance glyphs, however since ZOS won't let us see our resistances and how much they really matter it is hard to say. The biggest threat is fighters guild skills in PvP, so it comes down to that on whether or not you should go vampire. Granted till we know exactly how fire resistance works that is probably more of a factor than I let on. In the beta I did do a bit of math with an amulet that gave me fire resistance and I think I came out with around 1.5k FR will negate the bonus damage assuming you don't hit overcharge (which we can't see).

I can confirm the Werewolves in Cyrodiil don't infect you I just killed 5 of them and they didn't do anything besides die

Hmm looks like I'll begin my long quest on searching to get infected once I level up more (sadly I've been too busy since early access started and I'm only level 10......).

Omar finished the vampire quest at level 12, another buddy of mine finished it at 10. I will be finishing it at 12 too. You don't have to wait until level 20+ to do this quest.

edit: omar also finished the werewolf quest too
