Op: You can't dye the crown unless you use crown store one use dye stamps. Not even subs can dye it at the dye station. Have they fixed it since yesterday?

You found a work around, it doesn't negate my statement. You can't dye it directly, you have to dye the last channel in your clothing to dye it. The crown itself is not showing any channels at all in the dye menu. That's why I asked if it was fixed because it's obviously broken.
Also it's classified as a hat, but removes your facial accessory.
Yeah I died it the work around way. Figured other people that've heard about it would've too.@vrine

Not directly, seems bugged at the moment. But when you have it equipped at the same time as a costume and dye the costume, the laurel takes the color of the third (I think) channel. It's also possible with dye stamps.0 -

Change last costume color. For me works with "Dye all", but not "Dye".

Equip a dyable costume (requires ESO+)
Have your laurel equipped.
Dye all on the third (rightmost) channel.

✭got one, but it negates my sorc's eyepatch, so no.
The crown is marked as a hat but works like a facial accessory. Otherwise it would remove your hair. I was afraid wearing it would transform every hairstyle into the Imperial cut, but I was glad to find it does not, because indeed it works like a facial accessory and is added to the character without interfering with the hair. Downsides to that are that it's not directly dyeable, and will remove any other accessory you wear.
