I highly doubt they even QA'ed it on an Argonian. They probably just rushed the laurel to live version of the game. It's an existing asset from game's launch because some NPC's have it. They probably didn't believe a "finished asset" needed testing lol.

Here we go. I thought about dyeing it but since there's no way to revert the change (at least not for now) it's staying golden.

If you dye the laurel, there's no way to remove the dye and make it golden again. Only thing you can do is find an unlocked dye that closely resembles the original one and apply it.

ok yeah, I just got mine. are people using dye stamps to dye them since there's no slot at dye stations?

It's weird how it's under the head cover category but doesn't replace certain head covers that are a part of a costume. I wonder if it was intended to be like this

Seriously i was running Sewer's 1 for pledges yesterday and on the final boss it dropped.
It was a yellow item and it said Laurel with the leaves as an image and something about crafting. Will post it later tonight after work.

That's a motif style item, not this cosmetic piece. Mercenary motif I think

Ah yeah, that's probably it. I was confused by your original comment.

The Laurel from this thread is not an item. It's a collectible, so you cannot "put it in the bank". It's a reward for completing specific PvP achievements during the Midyear Mayhem event that is currently running right now.

Honestly no idea what's so special in this item, clipping through the hair, there are some much better looking head items, like various crowns for example. The laurel isn't my style at all. Without crown such as below, it looks poor.



Or the dragon wings like this


Close view textures on these are also much better than on the laurel.
But if you like it...

I'm never going to get the Laurel, but I enjoy looking at the pictures! One thing I've noticed is that it seems to be placed better on the male heads than the females. On the males, it rests just above the eyebrows while on the females it seems that one wrong move might make it slip and take their eye out!

It could be the angles of the pictures maybe, but that's how it looks to me. Congrats to those who have them!!!
