Hey, if you have these sets ready give it a go.

Vicious Serpent is always a very good choice, especially nowadays when sustain is hard due to the crazy cost of AoE abilities.

I would go with New Moon Acolyte over Deadly Strikes, Deadly Strikes is more a single target set. You will definitely have more success with the Acolyte set.

Thanks for the time you took to build the website and your valued information.

I have 2 questions concerning Armor type for sets and monster sets in your build

First question:
Does the set piece matter where it goes ? Example, Can I wear False god on all on body instead of chest,legs and jewelry?

Second Question:
I collect Monster sets in the right weight and trait, but I am confused why in your build:

Hey @WiseSky

1. It does not matter, you can use wherever you want it.
2. Head and Shoulder have the same armor value, so it doesn't matter which one you use where.

You could run it but it is only a marginal damage increase. I will write a note about it on the build.

If you already have the Elfbane gear then go for it, otherwise I think I would wait for the big chapter. No point to transmute stuff, gold it out and then new Chapter comes and it is useless again (maybe).

Any chance to update the heavy attack magsorc build? The cost increase of NMA and Molag Kena shouldnt matter too much on a heavy attack build so it could be interesting for players who are not able to perform a high pace rotation.

NMA is definitely also a good alternative to stuff like Mothers Sorrow so that would work and yes sustain shouldn't rly be an issue with it.

I don't like Kena because you have to do two Light Attacks in a row to get it to proc. You can give it a shot though and see how it feels with it.

Also, don't forget that there most likely will be major changes to builds when the Chapter comes due to balance changes and the new MYTHIC items.

The only criticism I have is that you often use high level fighter guild, mages guild, alliance etc skills in the list of recommended skills. You can not possibly expect a fresh CP160 character to have already unlocked fighter guild lvl 8 (StamWarden) or mages Guild lvl10 (MagTemplar), for example.
By the time a character has reached that level it's already at CP400+ or beyond.

Most people that use build guides tend to have levelled a character before and have a bit of experience. They will likely have Fighters and Mages guild levelled far before they ever reach level 50. It's also possible that a new player already levelled them through normal gameplay. A 160 CP character could very easily have reached Mages Guild 10 if they picked up the lorebooks while levelling, and Fighters Guild 8 by running dolmens, and dungeons/delves with lots of undead and daedra. When I made my first character and took my time exploring/questing I definitely had both maxed out before hitting CP160, far far before ever looking at a guide for sure. Everybody's different. Instead of seeing it as a list of skills you should already have, think of it as a direction on where to go. It doesn't really take long to level them, and certainly not long enough for you to gain over 200 CP in the progress. Consider it more of a guide for which skills you should be working on unlocking!

Thanks for the feedback, @Raisin pretty much covered what I also would have said. The build should be the "endgoal", so if you don't have everything with 160CP it doesn't really matter but it should be what you want to aim for when the build is "complete".

Probably about the same, we just had this discussion in one of our discords. Have to make further tests to see how it performs. So it could be that it is a bit better, but for now we have to wait and do some trial runs first.

@Alcast Mag warden pvp "Frostcloak" - You recommend shock damage enchantment on the front bar staff, but really you should be using a Frost enchanment to take advantage of the Piercing Cold passive (winter's Embrace) which increases the Frost enchant damage by 10%.

Also if you front bar the Blue Betty you will get an extra 2% damage to all your front bar skills from the Advanced Species (Animal Companions) passive

Hey, thanks for the tip about the frost enchant, I completely forgot about that. I like to have Blue Betty on the backbar so the flourish passive is also active there. And when barswap fails due to lag etc, I also like having some backup ability on the frontbar. These are the main reason why I have chose this skill setup.

Should be fixed now. Our server almost broke down because too many players tried to access the site at once on launch day. So there may be some caching issues, it should resolve itself over time though.

Like always, you can adjust the builds to your needs. The companions are meant to be used in normal content. In harder content such as veteran dungeons they usually don't survive for long. I do hope that ZOS will improve the Companions a little bit, because sometimes they still stand in fire AoEs which isn't really healthy and results in death.

If you want to see Mirri in action, you can already do that in this video, I do plan to do more of these once I have more time
