@Alcast Why are you recommending Precise flame staffs now for your PvE Wrathstone and Elsweyr builds?

Your enchant can only do so much damage. Precise starts to win over infused at roughly 55k DPS which is totally achievable in a proper trial group at the moment. Precise is also straight up better in any fight with multiple targets. Typically you take magicka into raids like vCR and vAS which are both multi target fights in HM.
Infused is still really strong for anyone struggling to hit those numbers or mostly fighting single target.
hey alcast was looking for a bit of help on your build called "mystic". what do you do for self healing or keeping yourself alive in solo situations or when you're not being healed?

Any chance a 2H Stamina Necro will be viable?
Awesome!
Played Unholy DK on WoW for years, and the idea of a 2H Stamcro sounds just as badass

Me too! Loved my Unholy DK.
I've been wanting to play with a 2H for a while now so very keen on the 2H Stamcro.
Also....just a side note to @Alcast, please tell me that there possibly may be a chance for some of the 2H VMA weapons could have some usage - I have so many of the darn things

Lastly, I want it to feel like I'm using class abilities, and not just weapon lines.
Thanks!

I would definitely go with the Dragonknight, I like the crazy sustain on that setup and the class abilities also look really nice

Since I am returning player from year 1, I was really lost so I found your site by googling. I do like how you explain things for the beginner guide. However your Dragonknight and Necromancer are almost identical. A tank using dual wield? What??? That got me to thinking are they just copying and pasting and just tossing it on the site and hope it works? That stamina guide for Necro was decent BUT you didnt even include guild stuff.
On that note: Anyone have a guide for a balanced dragonknight tank for for leveling and dungeons etc etc?

Leveling up on most setups is similar, that is why you might see a similarity. Can you elaborate on the tank thingy? The Beginner Guides are not really directed at tanks, because you usually want to level up with some sort of damage setup, that is why Dualwield or 2H is usually the preferred choice.

Thanks for the reply back and I did watch a few of your alcast videos long video before I even read the build pages.
You only have Magicka and Stamina. I chose Stamina and in this guide it talks about dual wield or 2 handed. No mention of shield and sword. After playing the build it felt more dps than tank.
Also you have a small error to fix on this page. If you click on stamina dragonknight it takes you to Necro page instead.
Thanks for trying to help!

Yes. I recently came back after 1.5 years off. Back then I would check out Deltia and Alcast for up to date builds (and casually rummage the forums) and take those builds and tweak them to match my preferences. It was great!
But since I came back a few weeks ago, it seems Alcast is the only in-depth guide available. Trutear (spelling?) Seems to have some good healer info but I was hoping to get a couple viewpoints on solid builds for "all classes and guides" .
Anyway, Alcast:thank you for your great site and info! It's a great resource for me that I visit quite frequently (especially while I am at work)! I REALLY like that some classes have more than one build for magicka/stamina/pvp (ie bow/bow or dw/bow or 2h/bow). It just gives a lot more options for me to fart around with in game!
