You need to hit him hard enough with the comet or the radiant wont do enough before they heal and cloak.

Your mileage will vary depending on how much magic you have but pretty much any non tank will have a tough time surviving. The beauty of it is, you only have to kill one person and five to ten instant kills are very possible. Situations like defending a breach are awesome for this.

Just remember to hit the one in the middle like Rocky.

Actually, i think this will change a lot.

Of course there will still be people complaining, like there always are for virtually every ability ever used against them. But for a lot of the legitimate concerns about RD, there is now a counter. The main issue with RD was that it was too easily spammable from behind the safety of a zerg, where the only universal defense (interrupt) was not practical since singling out the beamer from a mass of bodies, without tab targeting, was virtually impossible.

Now the helm will single them out for you, interrupt them, and pull them out of the safety and on the front line. There is risk now associated with using RD recklessly, where before there was none.

Well even though this is heavy armor, the soulshine set gives you bonus to magicka, spell crit, and spell damage while also giving increase spell damage to any channeling skill or casting you get increase spell damage. So perfect for magicka tenplars who use RD and puncturing sweeps.

    Nope. Curse+Comet+Streak=Win

No NB except heavy armour tanks have the health to survive that, given the fact if my comet crits, combined with empowerment it oneshots them anyway, but curse is there just to make sure they stay dead.

I have been using these pots for the past month and the results are just astounding on my Magplar. Survivability through the roof and also plenty of chance to do damage.

It will not change much, I think. One single magplar who use RD is not a big problem even now: problem is when 3/4 magplars are spamming RD together. And with swarm mother, all you will get will be a magplar jabbing and snaring you from melee distance while his three friends continue to RD you from far away...

Honestly, i'll be surprised if even one magplar in 20 will use immo pot before hitting that beam button.

It's the simple fact that hitting the button from behind a friendly zerg is no longer 100% safe that will make a templar hesistate which will bring an improvement. Before, there was zero danger, zero considerations to be made, so everyone just beamed 24/7. That will hopefully change.

Also, the CD on the helm is just 2 seconds. You can hold block for 4 seconds and have all 3 beamers neatly stacked on top of you, away from the safety of their zerg(and probably nuked to oblivion by yours).

This helm will be a game changer for PvP, and not just for the jesus beamers, mark my words.

Pretty much! Which at this point I think it's sad, we magicka players refusing to bow down to the Stamina Supremacists, have to rely on such cheese. But I guess in a world where Stamina players can just kill you with light attacks and armor procs, we are completely justified until ZOS feels like allowing magicka based players to legitimately close the huge gap of power on the stamina based players.

Until then just as Stamina based players causes much tears with armor procs. I will cause tears with this weapon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyuNidSrVik . Sad to say, but we play a highly unbalanced game. And at the moment the cards aligned in stamina corner.

Thought about doing it for a hot minute. Then I decided against putting such foul software on my beastly PC. One which I can play and fly in my Origin 300 series spacecrafts in Star Citizen's Alpha with my X-55 Rhino Hotas Flight system, Voice Attack, with the HCS Astra sound pack. That being said if this PC was a cheap potato I'd more then likely at least give it a try.

Not really the point I was trying to get at but ok cool! I was basically just trying to say because of the huge imbalance between Stamina and Magicka atm that we might just see a resurgence of cheat engine as before with the whole ulti debacle. Although I would be able to understand these peoples to a very small degree.

If this does become a thing again then I hope ZOS just flat out perma-ban them. Because if they use this imbalance as a excuse to use cheat engine and the sorts, then they'll use anything as a excuse. Also the other point I was getting at was. It's good to sometimes take a break, when things in a video game just seems to get stacked against you. Better to take a break and come back when the game is productive to you, then to get all angry and shorten your already short lifespan.

In my case my 6 month sub couldn't be expiring, at a more perfect time for me. When ZOS decides to make Magicka and Stamina builds equal but different at the same time. I'll come back and enjoy the game again, pretty simple.

Hey, anyone remember how good stam sorcs were when IC came out? Them and templars were just gods...

Nah, they weren't. They were terrible. For months and months and months. Magcia sorc was was top dog for like a year almost.

Why do people only play stamina or magica. I don't see why people stick to one. Play different toons. Magcia was strong forever, stam is strong now, magica will be strongest again at some point soon no doubt. Just play another class for a few weeks and all will be restored to how it was eventually.

Wouldn't suprise me if they done it to seel race change though haha.

I only rolled stamina to see how they was killing me on my Magicka based characters. But now that I know I don't touch them because, simply I don't like that style of play. My personally playing a favorite build/class just because is overpower actually robs you of you game quality, and actually player skill. That's why I don't play my MAX LEVELed Stamina characters.

It is beyond easy mode and requires little to no skill to secure kills against most magicka based players. And that to me is beyond boring. If I can't complete with my play style because of Developers and or balance then, I'll just take a break from the from the game for the time being, and spend my time and money elsewhere having fun, till things improve. Many many many games on the market.

The reason for this is because weapon damage and spell damage are king, and more stam = more weap damage; more magicka = more spell damage.

The way the game is now, there's not really any reason for someone to sacrifice weap/spell damage for anything else unless they want to relegate themselves to a complete utility build. Which isn't a bad thing, but if you ask most players whether they want to be the star performer or the stagehand in the back, as it were, I doubt the majority would pick stagehand.
