Hi,

This is no help for anyone who has finished the quest but after I restarted the quest around 6 times I decided to try logging out and back in at the place the book can load during the quest and it popped up for me then, so there is no need to restart the quest if you are at the spot and the book isnt, just log out and in until it appears.

Including this new one, I am still missing "Journal of Justiciar Avanaire" which still has no post-quest location. I also need "Royal Messenger's Fate", which got removed in a recent patch update and I am no longer able to get it on that toon.

I also need
"Ode to the Nose of a Woman", "Kiv's Notes", and "Note to Cynric" which I missed during the quests and can't find again.


Hopefully these can all be added in to be read in the near future.

So I've been having issues trying to find the "On Voriplasms" lorebook. UESP says it's at a camp northwest of Sweet Breeze Overlook but I just cannot seem to find this camp. Any ideas?

Iirc, you can also find that book randomly in bookshelves.

Iirc, you can also find that book randomly in bookshelves.

Did some online searching, found it in the overworld!

And is there any way to get any of the books from previous events in the Impresario's Catalogue?

They're usually annual events, so if you miss one one year, it should come around again in the future

I think you can get the missing books when the event comes round again, as it eventually will?

Does this mean ZOS is making sure that, from Firseong DLC on, we won't have not accesible books anymore?

From today's PTS patch notes:

General
All Firesong lore books are now accessible even after completing their associated quests.

Fingers crossed! If we know new books will all have post quest locations then hopefully it becomes a one off job to fix the outstanding bugged books from earlier content.

Just reporting in that i am also having issues with getting the "By Command of the Ascendant Order!" lorebook. Completed quest already, and i appear to be dead in the water. This really fricking sucks, i have to wait a year, maybe more to get this book added to my collection because some event books only come around for their events. Sigh.

All of this could be easily fixed with account wide lore libraries.

Gotcha. And anything about Thief of Virtue? I can't get back into the Shrine of Mauloch post-quest.

time limited events really shouldnt have lorebooks, i missed out on An Invitation to Elsweyr because i didnt realize they started adding these books to impessario and now this event with this random bug... guess one can only hope they get added again somewhere :P

That is not bugged. It can be found post-quest at the tower icon near the aqueduct in the eastern part of Northern Elsweyr. I just got it yesterday after having completed the quest the summer the chapter came out.

Could you be a bit more specific? I've spent close to an hour in that area now without finding it🤣

Been updating UESP with locations as I go about this. Has anyone seen:

• Thief of Virtue (UESP says it's at Shrine of Mauloch. You can't get back in after the quest)
• The Ballad of Skald Skullsplitter (Is it anywhere other than the bookshelves?)
• The Year 2920, Vol. 26 (Is it anywhere other than the bookshelves?)
• The Year 2920, Vol. 27 (Is it anywhere other than the bookshelves?)
• Introduction to Aedric Studies (Is it anywhere other than the bookshelves?)
• The Distributed Soul (Is it anywhere other than the bookshelves?)
• Unhallowed Legions (Is it anywhere other than the bookshelves?)

I've been using the maps on the first page for the above-ground bookshelves. I've also found 2 near Secudinus the Despoiler (EP territory), 1 on the map marker for Alik'ri Alcove (DC territory), and one very close to the Barathrum Centrata door in the AD area (AD territory). Are there any I've missed?

@fall0athboy most of those are in IC bookshelves. On page 1 of this thread iirc, there's a route you can take to hit all the shelves up top. You'd just have to repeat the process every day on each instance you can get to until you get them all.
