The math works fairly well I think. Burst is how the game works now, and even as a Stam build I could get 5k crits with prox. I'd put it on my back bar, load it up, and let it go with the rest of my stuff.

Or put another way, if you had a way to add 3-5k damage to your primary DPS skill when you bombed a group, why wouldn't you take it? It's literally just backloaded damage.

The 8 second pre engagement cast is what makes it viable.

I got the impression she was leading that raid so having prox slotted can be useful on a lead for timing the bomb, if you are leading as a stam build it can be kind of tricky to know exactly when you magicka builds proxies are going to go off

I used to do that. It's how I figured out you could significantly improve burst on a Stam build with it. Nearly Impossible to properly time dets in chaos situations if you don't run it yourself.

This. It's usually a onetime cast for the initial bomb. Its not crucial, and probably a bad idea for a solo/small group, but the bar slot can be afforded in a raid because in theory other people are capable of covering gaps (buffs, heals, speed) that you might have filled with the lost skill. If your build can't make room for it, not a big deal, but if you can, time it with your ult to do a few k extra dmg.

Even if it does tickle dmg, seeing 15 prox dets up looks far more intimidating than 10; you can pysch out another group into delaying their push while you get stats back or something. It also helps bait groups into dropping a nova or negate if you're feinting them because in theory your group looks more dangerous.

It's not a true hybrid build. I like the sap as it uses up that little bit of magicka I have to boost the steel tornado and also heal the raid a little. It's pretty great actually.

And this is why I run it. Though I could probably move it to my off bar, it's true. But I usually cast Proxydet then Immovable shortly afterwards and then push in. That red circle is scary ^_^.

As to the 21k Stam, I was experimenting with a tanking setup in PvP as well, so I have half in Stam and half in Health. I do find however that if I put ALL my stats into stam I just die too fast in battle. I can't do much good as a crown if I'm dead, so I sacrifice some personal damage in order to stay alive and keep the overall group DPS up.

Well, it's either play at 10fps or don't play at all. I think you can probably see I enjoy it all too much to give it away. I was getting a tidy 5fps today at Ghartok Temple today as VE and the rest of DC tried to take the scroll (had to leave before the end of the battle).

The entrance you see us going past most is just to the east of Arrius Farm. There are two other entrances though. At the top of the mountain (through the door) is a skyshard, and a giant. :P You can also go up/down the pathway on the outside.

@Icy is probably being impacted by the FPS drop bug -- the one that requires a zone/relog to fix. Every large fight triggers it for me.

Other than that, it might be a good idea to not stand in the middle of a 16ish enemy group when they all have detos up

Possibly, but since Beta I get about this sort of FPS in large combats. When the fight finishes it pops back up again to around the 20fps mark in Cyrodiil and the 40fps elsewhere (except maybe Wrothgar atm where it's usually around 30).

I don't get the low FPS with the 2 raids, only when the 2 raids meet another 2 raids and we all start throwing glowing lights at each other. Then it drops right off (along with the sound).

And as to jumping into a group with proxy dets up? Well, that's just my thing... HA! Not always. But sometimes it makes sense to sacrifice yourself. I run 5 piece Fasalla, which reduces their healing taken when they damage me. So even if I'm dying, I'm still doing some good.

That's Provision's Team Formation. You can get it through the Minion Add-on manager. I also use Papa Crown (for when I'm not lead).

Your internet connection has nothing to do with the amount of fps you got.
Factors that can influence your framerates :

- Hardwares
- Addons
- 32/64bits client
- Processes (programs) running in the background while playing
- Computer desktop resolution
- Ingame graphics and resolution
- Stream settings (resolution downscale? / bitrates / fps)

It was when you said stream+FPS that I thought you were talking only about streaming (which I can't do because crappy Australian Internet).

MSI 19" Ghost Laptop
GeForce GTX 765M (ESO set up to use this graphics card specifically, not the motherboard Intel)
Intel Core i7-4700HQ @ 2.4GHz
16GB Ram
Win 10
2 x 1920x1080 screens

Running:
ESO 32bit (otherwise Overlay doesn't work) full screen mode at native resolution, high quality textures, medium-ish effects
Shadowplay for recording
TS
Overwolf (for overlay, not anything else)
Firefox (sometimes in background)

I'm figuring the drop in FPS is at least part coming from the limitations on internet throughput. If I'm only displaying 8 frames every second, that's only 8 frames worth of data I have to suck down and send up a too small pipe. It's also not the most powerful of laptops but I did buy it new just before ESO came out, so it's "tuned" to the game (in a sense).

But if you (or anyone) has advice or things I can try to get my FPS up I'd love to try it!
