If i gank someone, and they either kill me by themselves, or i get grouped on, but the person i ganked seemed really good, i will often whisper for a rematch.

Why? If i gank, it is because i am looking for 1vX challenges. So if someone is actually putting up a challenge when i gank them, i would love to duel that person.

There is no salt in that. i am never ever rude or anything. i whisper for 1v1 out of respect for the persons skill and acknowdling that i underestimated him.

Some will be polite in the answer, regardless of wether they take the duel or not. Others will be total *** about it. In any case, i ask once, and never reply if the person is being a ***.

I agree, 1v1s are a good way to get better. Personally I think they are super fun.

Problem is a huge % of players in Cyrodiil don't want to get better. Or even Pvp for that matter. For example, the OP.

Uhh arenas was one of the best things to happen to wow pvp imo. And whats wrong with 4v4? 8v8 would just be an aoe spam fest. Honostly i feel 1v1 and 2v2 will become the most popluar.

4 v 4 ruined pvp in WoW and SWTOR, when those were introduced the popularity of pvp just plummeted. You may enjoy it, but most people do not. Unless they enforce a STRICT trinity setup for 4 v 4s, 2 dps, 1 healer, 1 tank, it will just be a mass cluster *** and premades will always win, just like in swtor and wow.

Sometimes a ganker is just looking for a good fight.

When you catch someone you are having a good fight with and then the gap closer spamming zerg spams gap closers on you... well, that's not exactly fun.

I've made more friends dueling after a skirmish and had more good conversations because of it to not accept duels.

Most of the eso'ers I know have decided that quest chain gankers are the lowest of the low.

If you want to gank.

1. Plenty of keep to keep routes, gates and bridges.
2. Imperial city.
3. Delves even

That being said on Lvl 30 sorc and friend on vet 8 magic NB spent 2 hours killing gankers over and over and over while completing the cheyendall chains. It was some of the most fun we could have in the game.

Something tells me that some of these posters that claim to care about me getting gud @ pvp are just being manipulative. They could give a rats arse if my skills get better. They just want the gratification of knowing the answers to all their "what if...?" questions.

Hmm....nope. I get better 1v1 practice in Street Fighter 5. I'll explain why;

Ever play Marvel vs Capcom 3? Go to youtube and watch some matches. It's pretty chaotic. Then go watch some Street Fighter matches. PvP in ESO is like Marvel vs Capcom 3, but with a lot more people and in one giant place. There are too many random variables such as, lag, varying terrain, interruptions of various types to make 1v1 PvP anything to take home to ma and pa about.

Go pick up a stick and play fighting games if you want to talk up your 1v1 skills.

Guys, take care with this rage messages and your responses...I recently finished a large ban of PSN ( one month) a cause of one of this rage kids.....

I was banned during a week, few months ago for being idiot and take part in a discussion with a fool..., it's funny, because he starts the discussion and I get a ban....but okey, was my fault......

But of cause of that, I take care with my answers responding only with "OK" or "L2P noob" .... I received a one of this messages ( Come on 1v1 you trash) and my response was "L2P Noob" and for that, the next day I received a mail confirming a month of PSN suspension

I sent a mail to Sony for ask, and they just told me that I break the T&C of group messaging the date of 24/01/2016 (basically the same words of the first mail) ...and I not talked with anybody except with that guy...

So, I blocked all incoming messages except friends.....

Agreed 100% Not worth boning your PSN account either. If it gets perma banned you lose access to any digital purchases you made. Dunno if your account keeps a track record of bans you had, might wanna find out just in case someone is being that kind of guy and trying to get revenge or something.

"improving PvP skills" for 1v1s and duels, yes. But I personally dont give a damn about how well you can duel if you cannot follow instructions during a siege. dueling is not the only source of skill in PvP. In fact, In ESO, working in a group> being able to duel/1v1. and why should he accept a duel request from someone who is talking crap to begin with? I certainly would not duel someone who was acting like a sore loser, because they would either accuse me of hacks or something if I won, or act like an arrogant D'bag if I lost. Neither outcome is worth the time.

and honestly, most 1v1s are to compare egos, not skills, you know this to be true. If I want to deal with trash talk and ego issues I will play a COD game, with everyone unmuted.

Actually that's false the game was for a long time oriented around skill. As a solo player, you used to have the capacity to wipe an entire raid with skill and discipline. This is almost impossible to do now. Hunting zergs was one of the most fun things to do for me until is was systematically shut down. It's why I hardly play anymore. Right now the best I can hope for is logging on to BWB with my.lvl 40 sorc and pick apart opponents until I get focus fired. Group play involves almost no skill at all.

I am exactly like the 1v1er. Except I don't message the zerglings unless they T-Bag me. Then its on, you crossed the line. I will then blow up their inbox till I get a response. And usually the zerglings call me a *** when I ask for a 1v1.... So it goes both ways you zerglings L2P then you can T-bag.

This makes me want to start teabagging.
