    You SHOULD be able to target someone in mist form. I hate how invisibility = invincibility in this game.

    Mist form is still really good as an escape. I got away from an entire raid of EP in the sewers two nights ago.

    If you want to get the best milage out of mist, you need to couple it with an ability that grants immunity to snare/roots. Namely Retreating Maneuvers, Shuffle or Forward Momentum, with Retreating being the most costly, yet most effective option.

    If you choose to use Retreating, you can forgo Elusive Mist and opt for Poison Mist instead, as the Major Expedition buff from Elusive and Retreating do not stack. Mist + Retreating is an excellent combination, with a really high chance of escape. It's has never been foolproof, and it shouldn't be. Every mechanic in the game must have some form of counterplay available to counter it, else the ability is the definition of "Overpowered".

    This one hails from far Singapore, excuse this one for his high pings. He also apologizes for any formatting/spelling errors, as he tends to answer using a mobile device.

    Insanity is the price of Knowledge. Herma-Mora and Sheogorath, this one bows before thee.

    This one does not advocate for any class to be nerfed. There are far deeper underlying issues then a simple "Class Imbalance". The Champion System is the problem. Not classes.

    Please read this before creating yet another nerf thread.

    I still wouldn't go for poison mist, not damaging the NPCs is such a nice feature of mistform over lightning form...

    I was thinking more along the lines of Cyrodilic combat, not the close quarter PvP/E battles of the Imperial City/Sewers. Poison Mist + Retreating works quite nicely there:smile:

    It's not useless. There are variations:

    - You can almost negate short dangerous ultimates (Meteor, Soul Assault);
    - You can win some moments until your mates arrive to help;
    - You can regenerate stamina while misting;
    - With some luck you can mistform between mobs in IC trying to re-agro.
    - Use winding way of escape: walls, arcades, galleries, doors. Imperial City is grey as mistform and it is not easy to see winding cloud: tab doesn't backlight mistform.

    People can only hit you in mist form if they cast a projectile at you just before you use mist form. I do it with Crippling Grasp all the time its funny to see that ball of smoke stop dead for a few seconds. Then i just Cloak and start spamming Concealed Weapon till they come out between mist forms to stun them and finsh them off.

    Mist form, Clouding swarm they both don't are vulnerable to single target attacks. Mist form mitigates damage, CS gives fake invisibility.

    Mist form always seemed buggy to me with certain kills.

    Because a Jesus beam that kills you from 40% health while you're in mist form doesn't quite look right (that was in BwB 1.6, so the recap indicates over 11k damage).

    That and the fact that I lose the target lock (tab) whenever someone uses that. Very irritating...

    It does have this "I need to stall an entire raid for just a few seconds" utility that is sometimes fairly handy. Or back in 1.6, just baiting people by just having 10+ guys on top of you while your mates siege them to death.

    Darn, I'm missing 1.6 tactics already...

    It's not useless, you was always mean't to be able to be targeted otherwise the skill wouldn't have dmg mitigation.

    Aoe and you could target as they recast you still tuck in coming damage and stun with teleport grasp inbetween the skill was better then the pc skill and no one complained had its own meta the game was better for it

    It was never a bullet proof escape skill. It mitigates dmg and makes you immune to cc, I use it like a magicka version of blocking or to get some mobility.

    No one gets to escape in 2.1.

    The Combat Team made it fairly clear they want everyone to die to zerg. Nerfing Bolt Escape + adding Shield Breaker, nerfing perma-roll and with all current counters to Cloak, everyone running into superior numbers shall die when solo and loose 80% stones :smiley:

    Mist Form never turned anyone invisible.

    thats the point - it was never intended to do but efectivly does, on PC it was solvable by tab-targeting consoles never had that option turning you into invulmode to any singeltarget attack as you could not be aimed at...
