MY FIX I have had this happen on XBOXONE a few times with other games
Like battlefield hardline & cod Ect
My Fix around it is to load another online game as soon as it loads
Back out of it then re enter Eso & it's up and running
I belive this is a Microsoft problem if it gapping with other games
Or could be Service provider how nows
but we shouldn't have to do it anyway
Game I use to boot up is the free pool game xbox gave us a bit back

Yeah it's still occurring for me as well. 24 hours now. I can log into euro server with no issue so hopefully they don't blame Microsoft again. Also twitch and all my other "internet" content works with my supposedly invalid internet connection. I have been able to log in once. I checked my mail and immediately dropped with the "valid connection" error. I have opened my NAT, hard reset console, reset router and cleared cache. Weeeee.....

Just a heads up, when the game says something like "make sure you have a valid internet connection" its say there was a miscellaneous internet related issue. It does not necessarily mean it's on your end. case in point... the current issue is something on the server side causing people to timeout.

If I get logged in I have to stay in the general game world. If I have to load a dungeon or way shrine I get booted

Y'all have had this connection problem for consoles at least since June 9... It's now August 9 and instead of making it better, it seems as though y'all have made it worse. I have an idea though, why don't you take some of the money you get from the idiots that are paying you for their Eso plus membership (myself included) and invest in better servers... Like WoW's, Final Fantasy's or hell even Runescapes servers are better. Between all 3 consoles eso plus members as well as the games sales themselves, you should have more than enough money to fix this connection problem, and even have enough left over to invest in competent CS instead of the ones that just keep suggesting it's xbox or our internet providers faults.

Interesting update. I made an account with my wife's "family" account attached my my Xbox live. Worked fine. Went back to mine and no dice.

So I haven't logged in for two days now, and I am assuming by the way the forum is still posting, the game is still broken. Well, no point in even trying today. So many are having issues and my husband and myself are in Sweden playing on NA server. Neither one of us can get past the character screen and stay logged in since friday night. So tired of issues happening on weekends. Seems like everyone at Zeni has gone on vacation or all on pts........Think I will go play lotro for awhile. Two expansions I have not played yet. An old game that actually works. It's kind of sad, as I don't want to say bad things about zeni or anyone for that matter, but ignoring customers blatantly is just bad public relations. We would like a response from an actual person that is educated in whatever is causing this log in issue and not auto responses from mods that have nothing to do with the problem. Do we have to wait till they have had their play time on pts this weekend? I mean seriously, how long does it take to restart the server. It might be worth a try or will it be on maintenance day for console later this week?

It seems to be getting worse. It used to be random when I was fast traveling. Now, it is rare to be able to login and always fails if I fast travel.

I used the above posters trick of booting another game mid ESO load and managed to squeeze an hour or so out of the game. Then dropped again after an "unusually long load time". Was not able to reload normally. But it must be microsofts fault....

I highly suggest not trying to change zones by walking. My character has no chance of getting in now because it tries to load in Glenumbra then Stormhaven... It's been days now and it's getting old. BTW the EU server works perfectly fine for me. Weird that its isolated to the NA server.

Dungeons and dragons: Neverwinter servers are better then this crap we have to deal with on a regular basis! I'm going back to playing Neverwinter. This is some grade A bull****

By the looks of it, the game is still so faulty it's unplayable. Telling us to contact CS that doesn't respond. If they just respond, this would individually alleviate the situation.

You really get screwed in pvp. Except for azura star (the milk drinkers have utter dominance), all vet campaigns take an hour to queue in prime time. Friday night, it took 4 hours.

Alas, when you can finally go to cyrodiil, I get booted out, and I have to queue pvp all over again. This will ruin pvp for sure, for those that have this problem.

Btw, to help eso isolate the issue, what do we have in common?

A) do you change zones many many times per day
do you play 8 hours or more a day?
C) do you live in a large metro area who's routers could be getting flooded by eso directed traffic?

I am yes to all 3. How about you all?

Looks like they're going to do maintence in the 11th, I believe that's Tuesday morning. This should rectify the issues. Yea it's until Tuesday, so what, I'll just play gta till then.

That's some news to me. Not having a timeframe gets me in edge. But now with this info. I'll be chill.

I then deleted it from everywhere (this game only) - still the same problem

It's funny, while ZOS is so focused on the PTS so that the DLC comes out right, everyone on consoles is getting f-ed and saying they're not going to buy the DLC! Nice going ***!

So, here's a new theory. After reading on Twitter that Level 3 Communications may be suing Zenimax for not paying for services and seeing that everything is getting blocked by Level 3, I did a little research. It looks like Level 3 has lawsuits with a number of American ISPs. Now, perhaps it is possible that the North American server is sent from NA ISPs, to Level 3, and then back to NA. Because of this suit, Level 3 is shutting down these requests. That may explain the difference between the two servers. Perhaps not. Perhaps ZOS just sucks. Who knows...

ZOS just sucks. My vet character in Stonefalls won't load properly for past 3 days. I loaded once for 5 minutes and my attempt to flee stonefalls resulted in d/c. My low level characters in Cyrodil Thornblade/Haderus have been loading and playing, I've made no attempts to leave cyrodil with them.

I had a reply from a request ongoing from yesterday. They said this issue is being investigated and updates will be shared.

I do appreciate the reply, but @ZOS_GinaBruno said to contact CS to troubleshoot.

I didn't troubleshoot but that's the reply I got. So is there really need to contact CS?
