I know... I know.... what I'm about to say is going to get crap from others.

With that said, the only way a company will take action to do what is right for their product and their customers (when so blatantly ignoring us) is to enter consumer complaints into the BBB and other organizations of the like. I know that many of you will laugh at me. But I've been down this road before where products aren't supported and customers can't use the product purchased to it's fullest. The ToS for this game does not include not being able to play. There is no response from their CS team, no response from their Moderator staff other than the same usual crap of "check your connection", "hard reset your xbox".... etc...etc..etc...

This is utterly ridiculous. Once again, I know that I'm going to hear crap about this, but file complaints with the BBB, your state's attorney general, everything. This is absurd that we cannot play this game without problems, nor acknowledgement of the issue. Getting Microsoft included in this problem will help prove that ESO is screwing over Microsoft as well. They too are losing money in this fiasco.

ESO is a child-led company with incompetent employees who do nothing but shrug us off.

**** this game. I'm going to wait until new fall releases come out. The incompetence of maintenance for the console players, and the NA server, has completely pushed me away from throwing another dime into this. I would have put money into crowns, ESO Plus and DLC's. You've ruined this for a huge fan base.

    Congratulations idiots.

I doubt you'll get crap; quite the alternative, everyone's just going to ignore you. DLC is very shiny after all, and everyone who's been in the world a while is itching for something new. This entire little issue will be a long-forgotten memory in a few weeks.

Actually, wait. Make that, "...a long-forgotten memory as soon as the servers work again." Nobody's gonna give a single toss as soon as they can get back to their quests. Also, every office and organization you mentioned has much better things to do than chase down Zenimax over a broken server or poor resource allocation. I like a good "torch n' pitchfork party" as much as anyone else, but the mob ain't rallying for this one.

That's just it. I don't want "crap". I want a game that works. We all do. I'm not asking for reimbursement of some sort. I just want to play.

And you are wrong in that this is not a "little issue"... this has been going on without any answers and won't be forgotten for quite some time. In the future, if I am interested in purchasing a new game, and I see that Zenimax has a hand in it, I'm going to think twice before purchasing it.

Finally, I only mentioned one office, BBB. But we can also go to the Bureau of Consumer Protection through the FTC. It doesn't matter. And that's the problem. If everyone who has had these problems, instead of entering a ticket through Zenimax's crappy Customer Service, instead entered a complaint online through these two agencies among others, then maybe Zenimax may actually ANSWER our complaints and look into fixing these catastrophic problems. It takes just as much time and I guarantee that you'd hear a response from these government agencies MUCH quicker than receiving a response from Zenimax.

It is a "little issue," because this stuff happens all the time with games. Big whoop. If you intend to hang it over Zeni's head forever, then feel free to waste your efforts; the opinions of few are always drowned out by majority rule, and the majority of players will forget all about this when they can get back into the game. Most of those on the fence will forget about it when they see features of the DLC that they like. Furthermore, I can guarantee that the servers will go down again in the future; they'll probably do it a dozen or more times in the next few months. There will be an outcry, it'll eventually get fixed, and people will stop caring. Again. Again. And, oh yes, again.

I'm sure you like to believe this company cares how you, individually, feel about the matter; I'd also like to think that every time I complain about FedEX losing one of my packages, Amazon will take it to heart and consider dropping that shipper from their service. Both of us should be adult enough to know that's not how the world, or corporations in general, operate. Reach out to as many legal teams or similar organizations that you like, just know that you'll get a lot more canned responses and automatic replies from them as well.

Then again, I can't really tell you how to spend your free time; maybe you're just venting, and won't reach out to anyone.I can only hope that you get over the fact that you're probably not gonna play this weekend, or many other weekends when the same thing happens in the future. Neither will most of us. Surprisingly, life goes on.

Keep getting kicked from game. Started off when traveling through way shrine yesterday. 24 hours later I can't even get into the damn game. "Unable to connect to game server. Make sure you have a valid internet connection."

I do have a valid Internet connection. When the hell are you fixing this? With all the issues I think we deserve some in game crowns or something. I'm starting to feel like I didn't get my money's worth with all the bugs, why did I buy the premium edition when I can't even play the game?

I never said a game had to be an MMO to have wide-scale problems. And furthermore, I wasn't around at WOW's launch. I'm not even a WOW player.

I remember the online aspects of GTA V being utterly broken when they went live, and once heists were released (after massive delays), their servers crapped the bed again. If I recall correctly, Assassin's Creed Unity was also massively broken all over - so much, in fact, that everyone at Ubisoft did a massive facepalm and the first DLC was announced to be a free giveaway.

It's technology, not magic. The whole thing is held together by a bunch of computers and cables; things go wrong from time to time. Sometimes they're big, sometimes they're small, but stuff happens. It's just part of the territory when you're dealing with this many people and all their collective gadgets.

I got it... Log into ur opposite server, log out while standing on your head for 30 seconds, now this is important dont land on your feet, fall on your right side and the go peel 2 bananas. Come back turn your xbox off and hook up a nintendo 64 play 007 for 5 min and 32 sec and then hook your xbox back up. While you are staring at the loading screen have your wife slap your face 5 times...repeat this process 3 times and you might get to play for 5 min.

See guys its not that bad lol

Which console are you on? XBOX ONE

What is your geographic location? Maryland, USA

What was the last thing you were doing in-game, and where were you in-game? I was in Auridon fast traveling somewhere

When was the first time you got kicked from the game, and have you been able to get in and play since then? I think it was friday. It take many tries over the course of an hour to play for about 10 minutes or until I hit a load screen, which ever comes first

Have you created a ticket with Customer Support? Yes, 2.

They will get this fixed...no matter what the cynics say. We just have to be patient. I ha e been playing on the EU server with no issues. I even tried another faction, just for fun. It does suck, but let's not be rallying with torches and pitchfork. They can't report information they don't have. So, be patient y'all.

I quit trying to log in yesterday. No point sitting there getting all worked up over this mess till its resolved. I am a little irritated about not being able to check hireling mails and do writs. Will be almost a week of loss before they fix it, that is if they fix it by maintenance day.
  • Dante_Zetsumei
I don't normally post about these types of things I normally just wait until it fixes itself but after reading they fixed the EU servers on console after one day. The one on the US server have been like that since Monday what bull *** is that one day and they fix EU just proves once again they don't give a damn about the console gamers in the US. I for one with not buy any dlc they put out with this kind of server management.

It lets me login every now and then. but when I try to travel, my circle freezes for a second, then starts loading again, I get unusually long load time, then I get kicked. happens everytime. and yesterday it let me travel to deshaan, so I went there and I tried walking over to shadowfen since it wouldn't let me travel there. and that's where my quest is. anyways, now when I try to log in, I get kicked everytime because it tries to load me straight into shadowfen.

So strangly enough, I was able to log into my VR9 DK. This was not my main character. Got kicked once and then got back in the game. Ended up going to Cyrodiil and never got kicked all day today. I wasn't even going to try and log onto another character and take the chance of being booted. At least I got some AP even if I couldn't do anything else. So strange after this problem all weekend and I am playing on NA from Sweden.

Hi guys, we are continuing to investigate the issue from last night. If you haven't done so already, try a hard reboot on your console. If this doesn't work, please reach out to Customer Support so they can troubleshoot with you. Thanks for your patience; we know this is frustrating.

Going of 4 days with not be able to load in. How long is it befor you get cs support to troubleshoot with me.

P.s That the game is down is not frustrating, NO customer support and feedback that is frustrating..

I poked around on ESO site and found this.

    https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/30197

I forwarded the xboxONE ports again, I could have sworn I had done it in the past. That seemed to solve the issue for me and it looks like many of you had the exact same issue as I had.

I logged in and used some wayshrines last night and this morning with no issues.

The link pretty much says to check 3 things. Your NAT, port forwarding and then clearing MAC on the XBOX.

I'm not saying that there was no issue on ESO or XboxOne sides, since everything worked fine for me until Thursday. I'm not sure what changed on Thursday to cause the issue as it seemed pretty consistent.

But hey, at least I went to be early on Saturday due to this issue........

Just been playing on the EU server for 2 solid hours for the first time in 16 consecutive days. I'm not saying they fixed this, but there is definitely a better difference to playing. I ported around a few places, went into dungeons VR level and otherwise with no lag, or anything horrible going on.

Not here to brag but if you're on the EU server give it another try now and see if you can play again.

To ZOS, if you have fixed this then I thank you because I told you what I thought when it was broken.

PS: I did notice that my XBOX 1 is now on STRICT NAT when it was always on OPEN NAT. I didn't change this (I don't know how), if that makes sense to anybody reading this.

Hey, folks. Can you try two things for us?
    1. Log in to the opposite server (either EU or NA), then log back into your proper server.
    2. Turn your console totally off for 5 minutes, then turn it back on.

I tried this, but doesn't works. Actually, i'm having constant DC when i use the wayshrine and try to get in or get out from any dungeon, during the load screen.

    Console: XBOX ONE

I am unable to connect to my game because I have been banned as a result of a glitch in the game and was not given time to fix the issue since I received the response while at work and when I got home I was unable to log on. I would like someone to help me with this issue which is not my fault. I have contacted the support but I should not have to wait possibly 24 hours to play a game for something I have not done. I am having all the same issues and could not login at all yesterday. On Saturday I was able to login after 20 min of trying and then my character i was playing (for about 30 min) was not mine i am a Khajiit and I was playing as a Wood Elf (i think). Everything was correct in my inventory so I just accepted it because I didn't want to spend another 20 min to log in again. Then while i was running, my character changed back to what it normally is. Very odd.
