As I pointed out in this thread- hardly anything levelled in a 1-10 manner.Regardless of the ratio, I think many people are finding that the Champion Points aren't making up what was subtracted from multiple stats in the conversion from live to PTS.

    • Health scaled on 1:7 Ratio

    • Magicka/Stamina Regen scaled on 1:11 Ratio
    • Heavy/Medium Armour scaled on 1:4 Ratio
    • Light Armour scaled on 1:2 Ratio
    • Some mobs health scaled on a 1:7 Ratio
    • Some mobs health scaled on a 1:9 Ratio

    FEEDBACK
    • I understand that with the addition of champion points some balancing was required so that we didn't walk around in god mode, but why were they nerfed by that much?
    • However, the champion points I have don't seem to make up the difference.Other people are finding the same issue. See this thread, and this one
    • Does the total amount of champion points in the game= the amount needed to get back to our previous stats?Because if they do, that's totally not cool.
    • How many champion points will I need to get my stats back?
    • How much XP will I need to get enough champion points to combat the nerf?
    • How long will it take me to get that much XP?
Also I've just done an enchant comparison:
UzCIeDg.jpg?1So we are now sitting at:
    • Health scaled on 1:7 Ratio
    • Magicka/Stamina scaled on 1:9 Ratio
    • Health Regen scaled on 1:11.5 Ratio
    • Magicka/Stamina Regen scaled on 1:11 Ratio
    • Heavy/Medium Armour scaled on 1:4 Ratio
    • Light Armour scaled on 1:2 Ratio
    • Some mobs health scaled on a 1:7 Ratio
    • Some mobs health scaled on a 1:9 Ratio
    • Max Health Enchants scaled on a 1:5 Ratio
    • Max Magicka/Stamina scaled on a 1:6 Ratio
    • All recovery enchants scaled on a 1:3 Ratio
    • Reduce cost enchants scaled up on a 1:8/9 Ratio
    • Spell Resistance/Armour glyphs scaled on a 1:6 Ratio
    • X resistance Glyphs (eg Fire Resistance) scaled on a 1:2 Ratio
    • Spell/Weapon Damage Glyphs increased on a 1:2 Ratio
    • General Damage enchants for weapons varied between 1:3 and 1:10 Ratio
Considering most mobs health levelled in a 1:7 and above ratio, our enchants seem to have scaled a lot less.

All comparisons can still be found in this thread.

I wonder if people would object to a CP lvling system along the lines of Skyrim. See in the vanilla game you were flat capped at 80ish perk points without any possibility outside of mods to respec or lvl further.

Dragonborn's Legendary system added virtually unlimited leveling on the condition that once you pass a certain point it becomes substantially harder.

One of the strongest objections to lvling is the 400k xp requirement for a single level. If you are currently capped at 1200 potential points, what if say the first 400 or so points require only 100k or so, 400-800 require 200k, and the final leg requires the doozy of 400k, but by then a player should have no trouble gaining xp.

I also still think ZOS needs to rethink the number bloat. AFAIK it isn't making anyone 'feel special' and its opening up a far greater can of worms than need be for a game of this age. I've played 2 other MMO's in my lifetime: WoW and LotRO. Both of them featured incremental stat increases in regards to gear and leveling (at least in the early expansions). You saw upgrades on gear that weren't so small to make your previous gear seem worthless, but just big enough to make them enticing to progression-minded players.

WoW made a very critical mistake bloating their numbers during the Cataclysm and MoP expansions. Lotro kept things fairly in check, but with WoW the bloat got just plain disgusting and actually resulted in internal technical issues concerning boss encounters.

If people are going to be seeing 30k health and 40k magicka, it should be after a year or two, but not so soon, and certainly not now with the next big content further down the road.

@Galalin‌ I agree with you on most parts but I do want to add some points. The intro of the CS has created a way to diversify or specialise, great for casual players and min/maxers. This system leaves a big space for inbalance because people can get very high stats which could make them too strong. I think its only logical this affects the bonuses from gear. Before you could not get high spell crit without the right gear and now you can for example. Its not oke that the gear we worked for the past year is useless but everyone is affected by these changes.

Personally I like the challenge of re-inventing the high elf sorcerer I have been playing since launch. The thing that matters most is that we have fun playing, the game will become boring when there is no need to change anything because you have the best gear and build.

I just really hope there will be some class balance with multiple viable builds so each class adds an unique value in both pve and pvp. But this is the thing that worries me the most after playing 1.6 on the pts last weeks. Fingers crossed and lets hope ESO will come closer to reaching its true potential.
