    i find impulse dks to be much less of a nuisance 1v1 than SNB DKs.

    That's why one bar is S/B and the other is Destro staff. Best of both worlds!

    I just don't see the destro staff as a problem in 1v1.

    It's not. S/B for 1v1, gap closing, or single target damage (burning down a Templar) and Destro for dealing with groups.

    Oh I still see smaller groups and even solo players trying to pulsar spam... so I laugh and kill them.

    The hardest class to beat in a 1v1 is a Templar Build that spams Blazing Shield, (usually with Restro staff) they have to be incredibly bad to lose with that build.

    Anyway, The reason you're seeing stupid stuff like the idiots on Wabbajack running around with a train of 12-15 people spamming Impulse is the same reason you saw it in GW2, because AOE cap..remove AOE cap and that crap will stop... Cause all it'll take is one coordinated small man to completely blow them to pieces in seconds. Right now they're using the fact that the AoE cap is 6 while getting what is basically constant AOE heals to avoid dying easily while killing everyone else not running the exact same setup.

    Unless ZoS removes AOE cap, you will not get rid of the problem.

    Everyone has access to it so instead of crying go get a Destro staff and get Impulse. There are ways to counter it, LEARN THEM.

    Funny to me that everyone is complaining about this one skill stacking and saying nothing about every other skill in the game that has the same problem. Everything in this game stacks but they don't want to call out their own favorite skills. Claws, stuns, bashes, knockdowns, shield charge, bats, health siphons, etc..it goes on and on. Cast the same spell over and over the dots stack from each cast. Any damage log shows it. But of course they say nothing cause they don't want their favorite toy nerfed just the other guy's.

    Stacking of all abilities is what they need to address. The game has major stacking issues.

    That is awful! I think Zos should nerf Impulse, actually they should nerf or better remove any skill that can cause damage or protect you from damage, because players can always spam it. We should run around naked with wooden swords, that would be epic. Anyone who is running in an organised group should be banned too >:)

    Tornado can be blocked, sap essence only for NB, wall of elements you have to try to target your enemy at least.

    Impulse - you just click one button and follow the group.

    30% AoE damage resistance from Cyrodiil buff, happy crowd.
    oh and up the siege damage to compensate the blockage

    Exploit people who don't want to actually think about how to counter something but like to run in to the middle of a massive bomb going off and expect to one shot all of them.

    Pulsar is a big problem right now. If you don't wanna see it you are blind.... 99% of organised group are playing the same way, light armor + destro staff = hold block up and pulsar, pulsar, pulsar, pulsar, pulsar.

    That's interesting how people don't even understand mechanic of what they see as OP - i'm about "hold block up" - i saw in a field some raids that really do stay with immovable and hold block while spamming impulses (guess they've read this thread too :D). It's a bit *** guys, bcos other raid will just throw caltrops/runes under you until you are out of stamina, start flying up and then you die.
    I'm against stacking of different elements too if anything - it isn't major something (like swarm stacking) but yep it exist and doesn't look as intended.
