I don't think those drop until we're on Phase 2.

Hi all, we wanted to follow up based on some of your pings related to the progress percentage dropping. As much as we would like to blame the Worm Cult for fighting back, the progress percentage change is due to us fixing a bug affecting how progress was being displayed. Keep on fighting the Worm Cult to add more progress!

This quest and the faction ones (like troll fat in Eastmarch and undead essence in Glenumbra) are terrible. Drop rates are super low. Is this a way to artificially increase the time players spend in game?

PSA: Vitrified souls get dropped in quantity from enemies that spawn at the Camp Sites (Solstice Word Events) - I completed my gathering there really fast after seeing how impossible it was in delves and dungeons.

I had the quest about undead, don't find any easy, after a hour decide to get into the public dungeon in alik'r, place totally empty of undead obviously, saw one next to some shalks, killed it got nothing, killed the shalks too after and got the 8 items needed for some reason on those shalk, Zos'd

Yeah I’m about to give up on it too tbh. The vitrified souls is another terrible one. The drop rate is atrocious and you need fifteen? I don’t know who thought this would be fun.

They drop like candy from the siege camps.

They are tied to the Siege Camp quests which will remain part of the game after the event is over. no way to run out of time to obtain it in this case.

It's a perfectly acceptable piece of content, with some nice twists (such as the taken over delves/PDs with some more powerful mobs), and a fun world event (siege camps).

The problem is, and typically always is with ZOS and new content, is that a spike in players mean that all of those things aren't given a proper viewing because they die so damn quick.
