The reason people choose Assassination so much especially in pvp is not because of the WD bonus.
However, the passive WD bonus is precisely the reason it was mandatory in PvE. This is definitely addressing a PvE issue.
Right, but the skill is so far overtuned that it could be removed entirely and have the tooltip cut down while still being a clear choice over something like crystal frags. Not saying I want frags buffed by any degree, but everyone in pvp has been complaining for multiple patches now about how overtuned assassin is.

- Every 5s
- Major Crit Chance
- 1890 mag cost
- 6.6% chance to flanking enemies
- 2k resource restore on kills
- 2.5% crit chance for slotting
- 10% unique stacking crit damage
- Minor crit chance
Crystal Frags
- 1.1226 damage/wd with 66% boost.......which is either 1.7826 or 1.8635 however zos did their math additive or multi
- Every 3-4s gambling
- no major buff
- ~1300 mag cost
- Reduce skill costs by 6%
- 3680 heal (1840 in pvp)
- Blocking an attack gives 18% skill cost reduction (not even really at play here since it has its own cost/use case)
- minor crit chance
Frags is just substantially less damage, and now adays with power creep the reduced skill costs dont mean much since most people get their sustain solely from tripots and bear haunch without needing more.

Impale from Assassination is this abilities closest comparison, considered a bit underwhelming vs Killer's Blade (and every other execute) which scales higher and earlier without an all or nothing HP window. Impale does 4992 total damage, 22.8% more than Fury, and starts at 25% HP instead of 20% HP.
Imo, Impale should start from 33%, and Fury should start from 25% if the burst window remained, if a morph became instant than 33% would be fair too. Impale also needs another auxillary effect to become more competitive, Fury already has the delay and/or aoe/sustain going for it.
Here's some rework idea's:
(Reworked base skill) Mage's Fury
With that base, here's how 3 morphs could look.
(Buffed) Mage's Wrath - 2430 Magicka or 2066 Stamina.
(Non-Delayed Burst) Endless Fury - 2160 Magicka or 1836 Stamina
(New - Spammable) Relentless Fury - 2700 Magicka or 2295 Stamina.
Mage's Fury - 870 Shock upfront, if 20% HP within 2s deal 3195 Shock to them + 695 Shock to enemies nearby (5m). Total single target execute damage = 4065.
Mage's Wrath - 695 aoe Shock becomes the full initial 3195.
Endless Fury - reduces cost by 12.5% and gives 4860 Magicka back on kill.

- Shock damage increased by 33% from 870 to 1161, same starting value as Impale, Killer's Blade, Executioner, and Reverse Slash.
- Execute threshold changed from 20% to 25%.
- Execute Shock damage increased by 12% from 3195 to 3593.
- Total damage equals 4754, 5% weaker than Impale which I'd want to start from 33% HP and get a new auxillary effect.
- Aoe execute Shock damage increased by 43% from 695 to 999, this is mostly relevant for the spammable version of Endless Fury below.
- This ability and all morphs have a 3x chance to apply concussed (30%).
- Cost determined by highest max resource (apply this to all Class Executes, not just Sorc's).
With that base, here's how 3 morphs could look.
(Buffed) Mage's Wrath - 2430 Magicka or 2066 Stamina.
- Morph: Significantly increases the damage dealt to other enemies nearby.
- Call down lightning to strike an enemy, dealing 870 1161 Shock Damage. If the enemy falls to or below 20% 25% Health within 2 seconds of being struck, an explosion deals an additional 3195 3593 Shock Damage to them and all nearby enemies.
- This ability has a higher chance to apply the Concussed status effect.
(Non-Delayed Burst) Endless Fury - 2160 Magicka or 1836 Stamina
- Morph: HP threshold increased from 25% to 33%, but no longer has delayed damage. Reduces cost and restores Magicka or Stamina if the target dies, whichever is higher.
- Call down lightning to strike an enemy, dealing 870 1161 Shock Damage. If the enemy is at or below 33% Health deal an additional 3195 3593 Shock Damage to them and 695 999 Shock Damage to all nearby enemies.
- If any enemy is killed within 5 seconds of being hit with this ability, you restore 4860 3200 Magicka or 3200 Stamina, whichever maximum is higher.
- This ability has a higher chance to apply the Concussed status effect.
(New - Spammable) Relentless Fury - 2700 Magicka or 2295 Stamina.
- Morph: Increased cost, but always deals damage to nearby enemies increasing based on missing health.
- Call down lightning to strike an enemy, dealing 870 1161 Shock Damage and 695 999 Shock Damage to nearby enemies which increases by up to 50% more based on missing health.
- This ability has a higher chance to apply the Concussed status effect.

when we got subclassing, i specifically added the storm calling line to my NB so i could get mages wrath lol, in my opinion its one of the better executes in the game because it gives you that window where the opponent can drop into execute range and get bursted by it
a lot of other executes i feel like lack that killing power because of the broken healing in pvp even hitting someone at low you get 1 GCD to hit them before they heal back to full
i also greatly dislike melee executes because it feels like they never hit anything in pvp when i need them to (too many times i get "out of range" errors when trying to hit a person with a melee attack due to how bad the game is at tracking positions)

I understand why, but we shouldn't be doing this type of adjustment.
The skill should be its 4s version and remain a unique playstyle. Making every skill the same boring copy and paste template playstyle is no different than making the whole game vengeance. There used to be a time in this game when different classes each had their own playstyle.
For example when warden came out they started gutting all of the unique sustain methods the base classes had and forced everyone to have a boring guaranteed over time sustain model. You know things like sorc used to stack max stats with little regen, instead of being a constant guaranteed model, it was more of a large cap deficit model. You would exchange resources to your max and then burn it down for a while and repeat.

Feast of Shadows
Two New Dungeons! A new PvE dungeon pack, Feast of Shadows introduces two challenging new four-player dungeons for Tamriel’s adventurers to explore and overcome. Both dungeons feature their own complete stories and in-game rewards while tying thematically into the larger Seasons of the Worm Cult saga.
Naj-Caldeesh
The legendary Xanmeer of Naj-Caldeesh was hidden long ago. All but forgotten by the Stone-Nest Argonians of Solstice and left with few defenses, it seemed as though the Xanmeer’s secret would remain buried. However, a faction of Argonian Necromancers uncovered the entrance. Help stop the necromancers before they can corrupt the mysterious power inside and unleash Naj-Caldeesh's Voskrona Guardians on the rest of Solstice.
Black Gem Foundry
In one of the many twisted pathways of Coldharbour lies the freshly forged Black Gem Foundry. The cruel masters of this infernal armory are fusing black soul gems into weapons and armor, resulting in armaments that steal life essence with each attack. Dalenor the Summoner, scholar of Daedra and friend of atronachs, barely escaped with his life after discovering the Foundry's nefarious plot to send these armaments to support Coldharbour's forces along the Writhing Wall. He's located a portal that leads directly to the Black Gem Foundry, but he needs your help to shut it down.
New Dungeon Infomation
- Naj-Caldeesh and Black Gem Foundry are 4-player dungeons which can be found in Solstice.
- Naj-Caldeesh’s entrance is in central Solstice west of Sunport.
- Black Gem Foundry’s entrance is located in southern Solstice northwest of the Shell-Tide Village wayshrine.
- Both dungeons include a Normal version in addition to a Veteran version. Each dungeon features challenging Hard Modes for each of their three boss encounters.
- There are unique item sets, including two new Undaunted Monster Mask sets, only available within the Dungeons.
- Unique Achievement awards are available for completing the dungeons, including the following:
- Unique Skill Styles
- The “Weakness to Elements, Orange” skill style is available for those that complete the “Naj-Caldeesh Vanquisher” achievement.
- The “Fire Rune, Dazzling White” skill style is available for those that complete the “Black Gem Foundry Vanquisher” achievement.
- Unique Skin
- The “Xanmeer Defender” skin is available for those who complete both Naj-Caldeesh and Black Gem Foundry on at least Veteran difficulty and trigger the achievement “Feast of Shadows Delver”.
- Unique Skill Styles
- Two unique Mementos
- The Seed-Heavy Hist Bulb and Slippery Soul Gem mementos are available to players who complete Naj-Caldeesh and Black Gem Foundry, respectively, on at least Veteran difficulty.

- Unique housing items.
Battle for the Writhing Wall
Battle for the Writhing Wall is a unique event that unites Tamriel on a mission to combat the Worm Cult and destroy the Writhing Wall in Solstice. This event progresses through three phases, with more activities becoming available as the event continues and the final battle approaches.
Please note, this will not be available when Update 47 launches. We will have more information regarding The Writhing Wall event timing in September.
- Quests
- New Event Intro quest.
- Speak to your ally Skordo the Knife at the Solstice Fellowship Camp to learn more.
- New zone story quest that continues the fight against the Worm Cult on Solstice.

All your pets can be given a path in your house to walk on. Not just one. Not just one per house. All your pets and mounts, as many as one house can fit.
Each account can have only one of each pet. This means I am not able to have a GROUP of chickens or goats on my property. Perhaps I did not state my meaning clear enough.
You did, but perhaps misread mine. There's multiple chickens and multiple goats one can own per account. Not just one.
All the "normal" chickens you can own:
- Crusader's Coin Chicken
- Cropsford Hen
- Alcaire Blue Cockeral
- Riverwood White Hen
- Mara's Spring Chicken.
All the "normal" goas you can own:
- Dragontail Goat
- Ninendava Sacred Goat
- Wrothgar Buck Goat.
See, more than one. That's 3 goats and 5 chickens/Cockerels per account.
I want them to be the same like farm animals. There are limits to how many pets one can put at a location.
I looked. I found only one chicken and one goat.

They know what is scheduled to be changing, but they prefer to hold back the patch notes until they know that the patch has gone through as intended. They don't want to find that something got omitted at the last minute for e.g. technical reasons and then the forum got flooded with "you promised "X" would be in this patch, it's in the patch notes" complaints!

In any event, achievements post-awa are meaningless when I can create a nascent character who can immediately be 'former emperor' etc. Grand Master crafter is a joke given you can get the once challenging motifs by looping through a bunch of characters and using the blue base racial motifs. ... etc. ... ad nauseum.
Re: Reduce the amount of class skill lines to two
There are three lines in each class for a reason, specifically, to mostly fill the roles, tank, healer and damage.

I don't think it is really feasible, unless they totally changed the game design. It isn't that kind of game, it has artificial barriers as walls. Similar reason flying mounts wouldn't function well. At least from my understanding of what I have seen in the game design.
I have played games that do allow these things, and it can be really cool. I get nostalgia thinking about older MMO's like (I think it was) Vanguard that had sloops and caravels.
