EU primetime? Maintenance started at midnight CET

That is hardly primetime anymore

When I opened the trial group finder, I was overjoyed there were like 25 entries. I knew it was too good to be true lol

You accidentally said the quiet part out loud. The "remaining PVP community." As in, those who actually like the abomination PVP has become. Those who compare when PVP in this game was actually good to now, when PVP couldn't possibly appeal to anyone who values fair play and balance, and choose now.

Of course people who like contemporary PVP will hate Vengeance with a, well, vengeance. It reminds us all that PVP was once extremely popular in this game, that most of that community was driven away by poor choices, and the remainder find those poor choices to be good. If we ever want 2014 levels of PVP participation again, catering to those who like the current PVP ain't gonna get us there.

To answer OP's question: Not really. They made it less effective in PVE. That's about it.

Not exactly. Three-teams BGs could be balanced by placing one or two BG regulars per team and filling the rest of the slots with newcomers. You could easily create matches with extremely high probability of being fun for everyone, regardless of skill level. Doing the exact same thing in two-teams BGs just doesn't have the same result. Here's why:

1. Since you can't use one team against another anymore, it's difficult for BG regulars to engage each other without discarding everything they know about positioning and target selection.
   1) Here's a typical 8v8 Deathmatch. Very unbalanced, yes?
   
   
   
   2) Use Magic Matchmaking to make both teams identical:
   
   
   
   3) Identify the target order. Although there are exceptions, it will generally be determined by squishiness. Tanks and pure healers at the back, gankers and bombers at the front.
   
   
   
   4) Do you notice how the BG regular is number 6 out of 8? It means that numbers 1,2 and 3 will just keep coming back before it's time to engage number 6. And if not, 4 and 5 are right there.
   The format being 4v4v4 would decrease number 6 position all the way to 3 or 4. If their team was inside a sandwich, it would drop even lower.
   Do you see how it was much easier for BG regulars to engage each other in 4v4v4?
2. The most extreme form of anti-gaming imaginable is a thousand times easier now.
   
3. Spawncamping is encouraged by the two-sided format itself in every gamemode.
   
   • Spawncamping in a 3-sided match meant leaving your teammates outnumbered against the third team. Doing the same thing in 2-sided gives your own team the numerical advantage.
   • If PvPers on both sides perceive the newfound usefulness of spawncamping, there's a decent chance they'll spend the entire match on opposite ends of the map. Not having to fight each other only makes the practice easier.
   • It's no longer possible to use one team against another to escape the sandwich.
4. People give up a lot sooner because they can no longer fight for second place.

The only solution I have to these game-breaking problems is to go back to the three-teams format. Do you have another?

Explanation: Some languages have accents and other diacritical marks and they can be added to letters seperately. If I type "´" and "e" on my keyboard, I'll automatically get an "é". I've been playing eso since launch and I play many alts, I dont want to spend hrs trying to get a skyshard from a public dungeon or delve. Also, I dont want to have to spend hours farming resources cos I have to take longer to kill mobs.
If you want challenging content then do your quests naked and vet dungeons naked.

Go to infinate archives and get challenged.

This game just gets out of balance...those that are in vet trials gear can pulverise anything but not all players are geared like that.

Just out of curiosity... Why can't the maintenance be done on mornings, during the week, instead of weekends.

I'm on Europe, for those who work during the week, Friday night is a nice time for entertainment. I just logged in a few minutes ago, to play a couple of hours, and got surprised by a maintenance to solve some problem with home tours. Couldn't it be done on Monday? Maybe it's just me, but I'd prefer the maintenances during the week and not at the weekends. What do you think?

I have done a fair amount of fishing and never got a furnishing plan from them.
