Subclassing as a concept: not bad, thought maybe we’d have more specialized… SUBclasses for thematic builds. Multiclassing as a concept: not bad in theory, but definitely screws with my gaming as a non-casual. The “subclassing” we got: bad execution.
Will they roll it back? No.
This poll seems to be muddled by people voting no just because ZOS has a 0% chance of rolling it back and not just because of their opinion.
People act like nerfs will make content unclearable or something, damn. A build isn't gutted if it's dps is cut by 5%, or even 10%. Or even 20%, if it's going from 200k to 160k.
As I mentioned in the thread for re-rolling all the base classes to be more role specific in nature, Sorc is just in a dreadful state. Has the weakest passive for ele type damage with it only being 5% and no benefit to status effect, a basically useless recovery passive, the worst execute in the game by huge margins, and no actual spammable. Just feels really gross and is heavily carried by the one reverse execute passive. Aggressively nerfing Aegis on top of it was just the cherry on top.
I'm completely disgusted with the fact that this is ending in a templar nerf so quickly when it finally had some power behind it again. That didnt last long at all.
Honestly, in the right hands, Templar has been lowkey op since eric wrobel gave it the 'house' and subclassing pretty much proved that.
So many community narratives are completely false. Which is reflective of real life these days.
Someone is going to read the OP and spread "30% damage nerf" as fact, even though it's completely wrong.
Its pretty insane that they not only change one of the most iconic abilities, but then also make it so that pure stamsorcs literally don't have a way to get their Armor Buff.
