As someone who mains a NB tank and who has used Dark Cloak for over half a decade, it's fine in its current form, and I'm confused by why it's being changed.
So, first problem is the duration nerf. Originally, Dark Cloak healed for 8s. This was later cut down to 5s, but this was accompanied by an increase in the size of the heal ticks, so that the total heal per cast remained the same, and the heal was just a little more bursty.
But with this duration change from 5s to 3s, there's no accompanying increase in heal strength. It's a straight-up nerf. These are the tooltips that I see on Live vs. PTS, on the exact same character wearing the exact same gear with the exact same food, CP, etc.

The second problem is that I'm not sure the bracing change is really that helpful. Oftentimes, when I'm moving, I'm not bracing. For example, if I'm targeted by Z'Maja's Crushing Darkness, I'm dropping block to kite that and only re-engage block as needed if she casts her heavy attack.
Yes, there are situations where I'm block-moving, e.g., to sidestep and AoE that was just dropped, but in these cases, the movements are generally short, and I'm back to standing still after walking out of the red. I can't think any situations off the top of my head where I'm constantly block-walking. We either make big movements without block, or we do short start-and-stop movements with block.
And there are situations where this change negatively impacts us. For example, if my partner in IA dies, I'll cast Dark Cloak immediately before attempting to rez. Now not only will the heal cover less of that rez duration due to the duration nerf, but I'll also be getting less healing per tick during that time. Sure, this isn't exactly a common scenario, but neither is constant block-walking.
The problem with NB's tank heal toolkit isn't the movement restriction. It's the lack of burst. If you want to cut the duration down to 3s, then do what you did with the 8s->5s cut and give us a bigger ticks (or at least a bigger initial tick).
The final point that I want to make is the reason why I as a NB tank main waited almost two weeks to protest this change, and that's because with subclassing, the few NB tanks that exist in this game have already abandoned Shadow.

At the very least, if you're going to axe the duration, then give us something back. Either a bigger initial tick or a lower cost that's more in line with Scythe.

Those stories are still the best this game has ever had. Sure, I personally could take or leave the TG and DB guilds themselves, but the characters in them are so compelling. And Wrothgar as a whole is still the best Chapter this game has ever done, even though it wasn't a Chapter.
In terms of gameplay, it's hands down whenever we got a new Class in 2017, 2019, and 2023. Being able to make a new character and experience the whole world in a completely different way is great, and I love the level up process and making each of my backstories feel unique. I really hope that I'll get another chance to do that soon...
The Drake of Blades was the true hero of Tamriel, and no one will ever know it. I really miss how well-written all those characters were.

I've never seen an MMO with companions. But since we have them, they should be able to fill the role of a person if needed when it comes to standing on a pressure plate or similar mechanic. Something tells me that companion will not know the mechanics needed if such a "gate" is implemented.
Wow and FFXIV both have npc party members for running certain types of dungeon.

ZOS, as usual, never backs down. They made a huge mistake by increasing the stack amount, and now they’ll wreck everything because they won’t undo the changes. Stacks should return to 5, and the passive bonus needs to be nerfed to about 125 spell and weapon damage at 5 stacks (25 per stack) to match a 1-piece set bonus—or just scrapped entirely since it’s paired with a heal. Otherwise, we’re headed for complete chaos.

I've been playing Eso for 10 years, and poor Finedrin in Rawl'ka has been in the stocks for at least that long. I think we should speed up the judicial system and launch a quest to free him. I think he's paid for his crimes for long enough. FREE FINEDRIN!!

Thieves Guild (Hew's Bane) though this is rather unfair as the early content drops they had a lot more time to develop. It's pretty obvious when you look at them but was also confirmed in the recent podcast. The "year of" format then forced everyone into a production line mode of content creation. Perhaps, after this transitional year, they will be able to do things in this way again.
ESO had a much larger art team the first half of 2014 and a lot of the content that was rolled out the first couple of years was shown in advanced states during Quakecon 2014.

When ESO was launched, we were promised an aggressive content release schedule of around every 4-6 weeks -- all included with our sub!! But after the bad launch, which resulted in a total refactor of the game and the business model (from sub to b2p to chapters) the content team was cut in half around August 2014 and we only got Craglorn the first year and a half.
Of course, this part of ESO's history isn't one they want to talk about as much!
IMO, it's also why the first few DLC zones had more detail and a fluid, hand-crafted feel compared to what came after. Like the basic ground geometry of zones like Summerset, High Isle, Western Skyrim, etc seem more jagged and generated to me somehow. Northern Elsweyr feels more like one of the early DLC zones though.
I think part of the reason I prefer much of the earlier content is simply the storytelling though, not just or even primarily the world design. Thieves Guild, in particular, has a tight, character focused story that feels like it was written for adults. They are real, three dimensional, flawed characters who care about real, relatable things. Not "oh my god daedric prince number 177 is going to destroy the world but obviously he won't really and here is cute comic relief who isn't funny".
Personally I loved Elsweyr as a zone and many of the side stories were strong, notably Jakarn's finest moment of character development, but I really didn't love the main story which I felt was already drifting into that amorphous <insert random threat that is too big and too generic then resolve it at the click of a finger> territory. Up to that point I think things had just about managed to hold together.
The thing about the earlier DLCs was that there didn't seem to be a need to make the main quest world threatening. Which made them much, much, much better. Later on ESO seemed to start tracking the same problem the main Elder Scrolls games suffer from that the main stories try to be sweeping and just end up empty as a result. To be honest I was feeling that with Summerset, which without Darien grounding it would have played pretty close to random end of the world nonsense. If there's nothing human in a story to hold on to, there's no reason to care.

Theory: Year of Worm Cult part 2 Ending (SPOILERS)
In Oblivion and Skyrim you can find a book called, Manimarco, King of Worms. It speaks of the events that happened between him and Galerion such as thier time with the Psijics and Manimarco's necromancy and subsequent banishment. However, later in the book it speaks about a battle between Galerion and his mages with Manimarco (in which returned somehow, hmm) which took place at a mountain pass in an undisclosed location and time. The potential connection seen with this book and part 2 of the dlc is the notable mention of Lamp Knights in it. An excerpt from the book,
"Galerion beheld Mannimarco's rise through powers sublime,
To his mages and Lamp Knights, 'Before my last breath,
Face I must the tyranny of worms, and kill at last, undeath.
He led them north to cursed lands, to a mountain pass."
The location does say a mountain pass which may refer to the mountains that host the Writhing Wall as it leads East North East. Not seeing what's beyond the wall yet, it's most likley acursed and decaying from Worm Cults presence.
It mentions a familiar name, Lamp Knights; members of the Order of the Lamp, like those we've seen here in ESO. In theory based off occurances of Lamp Knights mentioned, ESO has had the most, including seeing them in game. Continuing in the book, it describes the battle between Galerion and Manimarco with mentioning The Worm has collected powerful magic artifacts Galerian demands to be surrendered, again not explained what for. This is another parallel we can see reflected in in part 1 of STWC as we collected a corrupted artifact of Meridia. The quote goes as follows,
"O those who survived the battle say its like was never seen.
Armored with magicka, armed with ensorcelled sword and axe,
Galerion cried, echoing, 'Worm King, surrender your artifacts,
And their power to me, and you shall live as befits the dead.'
A hollow laugh answered, 'You die first,' Mannimarco said."
Further in the book it mentions the supposed end which results in the death of Vanus Galerian and assumed defeat of the Worm King by, "The artifacts of death pulled from his putrid skeletal claw." This could mean he's resummoned as a lich we may fight at the apex of quest line. This is explained near the end of the book,
"His eyes burning dark fire, he opened his toothless maw,
Vomiting darkness with each exhalation of his breath,
All sucking in the fetid air felt the icy touch of death.
In the skies above the mountain, darkness overcame pale,
Then Mannimarco Worm King felt his dismal powers fail:
The artifacts of death pulled from his putrid skeletal claw."
In regards to the fate of Vanus Galerion in the following paragraph it says,
"A thousand good and evil perished then, history confirms.
Among, alas, Vanus Galerion, he who showed the way,"
To summarize the theory, the events of Seasons of the Worm Cult may be the real events re-told in the 3E 433 book Manimarco, King of Worms. There are quite a few parallels and similarities going on with the dlc so far. Like the appearance of Lamp Knights, magical artifacts being used, the main roles Galerian and Manimarco are in, etc. If true, we could be in for a great climactic and dark ending to this year's season.
But this is just a theory, a Scrolls theory! (Sorry had to do it)

Drop rates are the same. Though the Broken Light Temple was never the greatest place to farm furnishing plans. People just think it is because it has a lot of urns.
Swencoast Cottage is much better. When you're farming furnishing plans, speed is key. Swencoast has nightstands, wardrobes, backpacks, etc.. that while not as many as urn farms, they are easier and faster to loot. As well, less aggro to deal with. Start at the bottom, work your way to the top. Preview a house you don't own then exit to the same spot from where you left. Reverse your path back to the bottom floor. Rinse/Repeat.
