Hi ZOS,
Stop doing this, the majority of your PvP base does not want this washed game mode. We don’t want to contribute anything to your “testing” because we are against it. Frankly, it’s a waste of time. With all the good that’s being done recently in the studio this is the remaining outlier of a team clinging to one last bad decision. It feels like we’re just being reminded to stay skeptical of the PvP dev team’s vacuum decision making philosophy.

Can we test PvE Vengeance on April 20th too?
Basically, your best option is to participate as early as it goes live, and spam dmg aoes en masse.
If all PvPers and their grannies show up and help testing whether the cap of 6 will or will not melt down the servers, we might be done with that test in a couple of days.
Boycotts are pointless now, Vengeance will go live, so if you want to have GH back faster then help test this change.
Not to mention that this test is perhaps the most important - in a megazerg environment such as Vengeance we need bombing more than ever, and a cap of 3 on dmg aoe is ridiculous beyond belief.
Absolutely not. Zos is responsible for listening to the consumer not the other way around. Forcing content on us that we do not want is remnant of their old mentality and whoever is in charge making the decision needs to end this immediately and listen to their player base.
Or it will directly hurt their resurgence efforts. I am not caving in and playing something I have no interest in. They're not paying me, I'm paying them. And that will cease every time I am forced to use my time in the day to play something I do not want and clearly the PvP community doesn't want either.
And, not even the PvE community wants for that matter.
If a community doesn't like beer, you don't try and make beer for people who hate beer, you just make it how the people that do like it, want it. Its so basic its painful.

Vengeance Campaign (Cyrodiil)
- Campaign Options for Live Servers [Feedback]: We hear your feedback and concerns about Cyrodiil queues on the live servers in relation to having only Gray Host and Vengeance campaigns open. We will be paying close attention to queue times and population flow when Update 50 launches and will adjust as needed.
I cannot stress enough that this is an issue that needs to be nipped in the bud as soon as it can rather than let it become a problem for how many weeks/months after U50 goes live. GH queue times are already a problem, and Vengeance is not going to alleviate that problem. GH and Vengeance have their own separate player bases. The players who want to queue for GH aren't going to use Vengeance as waiting room, especially when the queue times for GH will be an average of 2-3+ hours. Not only that, but you will also be restricting players from using their other characters that don't belong to faction they are locked to.
Please do the right thing and keep BR in u50. Don't wait months collecting data and make a decision then. That's going to do nothing but cause problems
I am going to reiterate this with some numbers.
This is Gray Host on friday night at 10:45pm EST. This is after prime time, so the queue time would've been higher.
This is Blackreach at the same exact time
This is all the data you need to know that Blackreach is the overflow campaign for Gray Host and that it does see a high population and sometimes even pop locks. If U50 is successful in bringing pure classes to a healthy level that's equivalent to subclassing, these queue times are going to be much longer since more players are going to come back to the game. Gray Host needs an overflow campaign, and Vengeance is not going to be it since it's a completely different game mode with its own dedicated player base.
Please do not create a problem for no reason other than to force players into Vengeance. I am certain Vengeance will be able to maintain a healthy enough population if Blackreach was included in U50.

You know it's gonna take hundreds to maybe a thousand or more hours of mind-numbing collecting to get what you need for a notable, right? And that housing people often do other content and don't literally just play the game to decorate? And even to decorate you need to sink just as much time, if not more, into making a ton of money for everything else you need that aren't housing mats? You know, gathering special decorations with specific drop sources, lead furnishings, furnishing plans, visiting houses, practicing new housing techniques and whatnot? And that's just for housing, alone. Forget about if you want to do any other content in the game.

I think the picture is clear. Most Classes have disadvantages, but only Necro gets the bugs the subpar performance and the clunky optics in a neat and nicely wrapped package.

You aren't making sense. If you want to appeal to authority in a given field you appeal to the best in that field, not the jack of all trades, which is... idk like half the players ITT are "good" at both dueling and open world, including me and you.
Why would I appeal to a duelist when my main focus is balance in both Cyro and dueling? Duelists run the most cancerous builds possible that only work in duels. Openworld players run too much defense and don't provide accurate values either. Pelican, React, and Alchemist are some of the best in that "jack of all trades" field, where you build just enough survivability to 1vX but still have enough damage to compete with most builds in a 1v1 setting. If I wanted the best dueling build I would go to Shoyru. When I want opinion on 1vX builds that can still 1v1, I go to the players mentioned above.My turn. I name drop @Decimus. He's right over there, why you still talking to me?
Decimus proclaims himself as "the best theorycrafter in the game". Do you know how absurd that statement is lol? Credibility is given through people's perception of you, not your own self-proclamation. I've often been called "Best Stamsorc PC NA" by many people but I still haven't taken that title myself either because I know a few stamsorcs who are either just as experienced or even better. When you call yourself the best you open yourself up to being memed at.
I've never said that? If that's what other people say it's not something I can control - sorry if it bothers you and your friends.
I will claim things like dueling tournament wins, win rate/KDR records etc that are verifiable though, because I take great pride in my accomplishments and wish the game had more competition in that sense and more things to compete over, like ranked leaderboards/arenas etc. I don't think I'm alone in that sentiment.
I hope you also understand the irony of you making this statement after all the elitism on this thread - in the end it's just what you/your friends think of each other, not something backed up by anything competitive.

I don't hate Tanlorin, actually, but the character's infantile writing does grate me at times. I think it's implied that Tanlorin isn't actually at the level of a five-year-old, but only ironically pretends to be like some Gen Z or millennial of our days who fears nothing more than to appear "boring", that is, adult and serious. The character is a symptom of the postmodern fear of seriousness. Even their voice and acting is otherwise good, but for some reason the accent has to be the lazy, annoyingly loose drawl of a modern-day US hipster. Tanlorin is a wasted opportunity.
I'm a millenial. When I was a teen, most of my classmates rather tried to appear more adult than they actually were, because they wanted to be taken seriously and seen as responsible, capable and intelligent by adults (which meant, simply, people trusting you more, and therefore more freedom). No one would have infantilized themselves by choice. It would have been perceived as very, very embarrassing. And as young adults? They were living their lives, studying, some started a business, many were in a relationship. Put short: They succeeded on their path into life. Babbling like a preschooler would have brought them nowhere, neither in academics, job matters nor in personal relationships. It's really a mystery to me how that weird baby talk would appeal to anyone. I don't live in North America, though, so maybe in my culture, things are different. I often wonder if something feels "weird" to me in ESO's writing, that specific plot, or reasoning, or the values depicted there, might just not really work for cultures outside the US (or North America, or the West, or whatever it might be).
Toddler talk aside, parts of Tanlorin's design also come across as annoyingly pseudo-rebellious to me. We also had them here back then: Kids trying very hard to be "special" (while not actually being special). Most often teen girls, and most often those who were horrendousbly boring and had no real talents they could impress anyone with. So, while others got their peer recognition by being able to play guitar, or paint, or being good at sports, or having some interesting hobbies or impressing knowledge, they went all "Look at me! I'm so special! I'm a rebel! I'm not like the others!" They didn't notice no one found that cool. But of course, in Tanlorin's case, everyone applauds and Tanlorin is super capable of everything, and lives that "fulfilled" life with lots of alcohol, parties and sex (which would also be seen as very immature life goals in my culture, by the way), and of course, is also a cool spy and fighting for the correct things which are currently frequent media topics, because it's a silly Mary Sue stereotype/fantasy. Makes me wonder if this writing was an attempt to appeal to a certain young audience, basically providing them with a power fantasy character of what they'd rather be than a boring kid, not understanding that many don't find that cool, but cringe (unless boring pseudo-rebels themselves, probably, but I'm not sure if many of them actually play ESO).
In fact, I'd like to see a High Elf companion like Wisteria much rather than what we got. Someone competent, intelligent, driven and disciplined. In sum, a character that would embody more traditional Altmer virtues even if his/her story would test and question the value of those virtues. I'd enjoy that. Of course, it would be a bonus if the said companion also would be a pretty lady like W...
My preference would be a male Altmer scholar, but, yes, Wisteria would also have been more interesting than Tanlorin. It's truly a pity that it often feels like companions were designed exactly to not be a typical member of their culture. TES has such a rich lore background for all its fictional cultures, so many interesting characters and stories could be written about exactly that, telling us more about cultural values and differences in upbringing in different regions of Tamriel, through showing us people who grew up in these cultures, and how that might have influenced them.

I agree. The antiquities RNG is the one thing that sometimes makes me want to just quit the game and do something more enjoyable and satisfying with my gaming time, i.e. play something else.
During the anniversary event, and because of the 1000 kill challenge, I tried to get a lead from a Hew's Bane WB. I killed that boss over and over and over and over and over and over and over... and no lead. And it's not one I can kill solo, so I've probably lost my opportunity to get it for a while.
There are times a lead will drop for me on the first try or quickly, for sure. But too often, especially with activities that are more difficult, there are leads that just won't drop for me. Yeah, we can buy them, but do you want me to spend time in game, or not? And how long do I have to wait for that lead to appear in the pathetic two vendors we have that only accept PvP and IA currency?
Anyway, we're probably shouting into the wind here.

Vampirism (NPCs and appearance)
I have both werewolf and vamp toons in games, and I've seen the amazing changes for Werewolf, so just hoping to see some of that love for vamps.
I would love to offer some suggestions for the 'rework' (not using that other word, nope) of the Vampirism skills.
A lot of these are probably already on the list, but it doesn't hurt to put them all in one spot 'just in case'.
Appearance:
Can we PLEASE address the issue of having a skin or 'skill style' to hide vampirism? It's just silly that this is not something we can do in an era where we have multiple skill styles for even the silliest of skills. Let us design our toons the way we want. Not everyone wants to hide behind a polymorph, heavy armor, or a very limited number of skins.
I nearly cried when my new fancy crown crate hairstyle was ash gray and not the pitch black hair that was pictured.
NPCs:
Also, please address the issue with NPC merchants not talking to stage 4 vamps.
NPC merchants can somehow tell we are a vamp, when the guards we stroll by can't?
NPC merchants who are so afraid of us, choose to anger us, instead of serving us so we can leave them alone?
Please either disable this 'feature', or give us a setting to turn this option off. Not everyone has the time to slot a mesmerize skill on their bar just to use a merchant.
Honestly, It's hard enough keeping track of armory builds (which still have a per toon cost and are not global), without having to worry about which skill I removed to slot mesmerize, so I could fix my gear.
Bleed:
Please add bleed damage to the vampire skill lines. So many of the skills reference blood in their name, but we can't make an actual bleed based build because none actually do bleed damage.
Honestly, I can't wait to see what you all pull off. Just hoping some of the above issues are addressed in the process.

React, Alchemist, and Pelican have all participated in dueling tournaments on PC NA in the past and individually won a few tourneys. I have also won a 40 million gold tournament in 2021 on my stamsorc vs a stacked pool of competitors when I still did tourneys.
I'm not going to address people not part of this conversation, but you're telling me you've won one tournament... 5 years ago. On NA. Ok, congrats.
Also, what elitism? I've never called anyone bad in the thread lol. I've simply stated 2 things that are objectively valid:
1) Most people are not good enough to play WW to its fullest potential.
Are you? Have you actually played werewolf? Or the people you keep referencing? I played one half the PvP event in January/February, it's actually one of the most difficult playstyles to pull off on Live.
2) Are people qualified enough to provide an unbiased opinion on combat balance?
Are you? You've won one tournament in 2021 and other than that it's just a bunch of friends calling you "the best stamina sorcerer" or whatever.
When it comes to combat balance, you can't just take an opinion of a seasoned PvPer with deep understanding of the game and weigh it the same as someone who barely does PvP or doesn't have that kind of knowledge or mechanics. None of these are elitist by nature, they're just common sense. I don't comment on PvE threads because I'm not a good PvEr. If some guy says Sorc should be nerfed in PvE because it's doing 200k+ DPS and has the evidence to prove it, I'm not going to disagree with him just because I can't personally do 200k DPS.
The problem is that most of the "seasoned PvPers" only play whatever is the strongest build at that moment and have a strong interest in maintaining status quo or seeing other builds and playstyles weakened/unbuffed. Having limited experience playing other builds also means you lack critical insight on how those other playstyles and builds function, where their strengths and weaknesses lie and so on.
People who won a tournament half a decade ago farming squishies in Cyrodiil and telling each other they're the best players ever and everyone else is bad or clueless is precisely the elitism I'm referring to.

So that's the purpose of the poll, to make a very obvious point, SO AT THE VERY LEAST WE, SPECIFICALLY THE NECROMANCERS, GET SOME KIND OF COMMUNICATION FROM THE DEVS THAT THEY HAVE A PLAN AND THERE'S A GOOD REASON TO FORCING US TO WAIT A TOTAL 9 YEARS TO GET QUALITY CHANGES TO THE NECROMANCER. :-)
