Since I can’t seem to resist being an armchair developer, I thought I’d throw out a few ideas for the Shadow skill line from a PvE DPS perspective as well.
Twisting Path could be buffed
At the moment Twisting Path deals noticeably less damage per second than most class's ground AoEs:
Since the Major Expedition it grants is only situationally useful, I think the skill would benefit from a damage increase. If both its damage and cost were increased by 10%, it would at least match Lightning Flood's DPS (not counting the synergy). Twisting Path could also gain a higher chance to apply the Overcharged status effect, or something similar, to make it feel a bit more impactful without pushing it over the edge.
Shadowy Disguise
Minor Protection feels slightly out of place here, especially since Shadowy Disguise isn’t the tanking morph. Maybe it could get a different buff that is somewhat useful for damage dealers, such as Minor Force or 2974 Offensive Penetration? I do realize that Minor Force is really common and the Penetration might be wasted in a lot of scenarios, but I reckon that either of those buffs would at least benefit some setups.
Born From Shadow
To further increase the viability of Shadow for PvE damage dealers, maybe the damage done to monsters buff could be increased slightly. Maybe from 10% to something like 12%? It would also help if Born From Shadow could be triggered when skills such as Banner Bearer or Shalks are active by the way.
Grim Focus' lost Weapon/ Spell Damage could be added to one of the passives
Since pure Nightblades have lost the Weapon and Spell Damage from Grim Focus and didn’t really gain anything to compensate, I feel like it would be nice if at least some of that W/S Damage would shuffled into the Shadow skill line. It could maybe be added to one of the passives. For example:

I'm sure it shouldn't come as a surpirse that 2023 build is quite outdated in 2025. ALthough in case of magsorc it would actually work in u45 as the spec barely changed through the years, although this build would still be suboptimal.
But the main problem is that sorc is difficult to subclass (if you don't only leave storm calling and basically turn it into a warden) and magsorc can't be subclassed at all because it's whole Identity is spread across all 3 skill lines. You can't imagne magsorc without bolt escape, conjured ward, dark exchange/crystal shards, can you? That isn't magsorc anymore, not to mention that without shields stacking max resources is pointless.
Re: Extremely Low Midyear Mayhem Turnout, Why?
I'm curious to hear why so many players avoided this most recent Midyear Mayhem event. Each event the turnout gets lower, but this time it's shockingly low. The added campaigns were not needed at all. Personally speaking, I only played a little for the first 2 days and lost interest after that. I have a long list of reasons, but it would probably be useful for ZOS to see other perspectives.
Feel free to share your reasons.
Consistent bombings. You can't take 5 to 10 steps outside without getting dragged and insta-killed along with 2 or 3 other people.
I love PvP and I love Vengeance. Didn't have time for it last time, but glad I made time. But this here is just foolishness. Its silly, its one thing by itself but people are taking the bombings to ridiculous lengths, meta subclasses everywhere, obscene amounts of damage being dished out with no counter-play, so on so forth.
It's a hot mess and I don't have the time or inclination anymore to sort out a bunch of people more or less reacting to and grief bombing one another. That is not PvP, and I just can only imagine what fresh hell the new folks and casuals must be dealing with. I saw a bunch of PvE folks doing quests and so forth the other day, didn't bother them.
No reason to when you can't even PvP without getting constantly instant-killed, so that just leaves other non-PvP activities. It's real sad but also not my fault.
*Also, the rubber banding was awful. It was so bad. Rush of Agony everywhere, I'm not trying to be a diva when I say this, but the game just wasn't playable. Too much Rush of Agony. It's not playable and even if you're in a group it's just standing around while one or two people do the kills. If I attack anyone I get singled out and pulled. Not playable or worth playing.

I've never hated anything in eso like I hated Mora and that story.
Hoarding knowledge and secrets, destroying women who stood for freedom from destiny..... awful. What point was zos even trying to make.
Even though I think Mora can shove it, i will say, Ithelia's very existence was an existential threat. She had the power to tear the fabric of Reality apart if she simply was angry enough. We the player even witness this in one of the Timelines. That Ithelia's Torvesard was even like "Bro, you really need to get your item and leave or you'll cease to exist." A Dremora showing regard for a Mortal's life before his own world and existence comes to an end.
I also think bringing Sexism and Patriarchal Oppression into it isn't necessary.
So he said. But we didn't know that for sure. She only grew dangerous when she was angry, as all Princes might. He was afraid of her potential to affect his power over us, and she gave people freedom from his destiny.
Smacks of the worst of things, to me.

She threatened Moras world of secretive control and micro managing everyone's destiny, with freedom and 'the road not taken' so he ended her. With zero evidence for us she was even a threat.
I know Mora is sexless squid, but voiced to sound male- it just smacked of misogynistic bollicks to me, like some church tale against women they call witches just so they can destroy them, and I couldn't even finish the story.
Tbh i dont think things would have got as bad as they did if we didnt get involved. She only lost it cause the loom broke and I feel like Mora wouldve foreseen our involvement causing that event so it just feels heavily manipulative on Mora’s part

Not me! I always go to the one with no bars when I want to go afk or quest.
Minimizes the risk that a PVPer will come along.
I always go on a toon that belongs to the alliance that holds Bruma. And yes, the less bars the better.

Subclassing is the game’s greatest joke, rolling in like a clown car full of bad decisions. Its influence is spreading like a plague, tearing through everything—events included.

Its telling how bad pvp is in this game when you have 3 bars and players are actively trying to avoid pvp in a zone where pvp happens during a PVP focused event. Sad that PVP is in such a bad state that players don't want to interact with it.
