In the end, for me, this thread is a good reminder that often, the outcome of a ban wave is that a part of the banned players have done something against game policy. In that case, it was the use of an addon that automates gameplay. So yes, there were some false bans, but they are by now getting corrected.
It shows once more that ban wave rarely happens for nothing.
I think two things. First, false suspensions and bans should never happen. Second, ban waves rarely happen. Period.
I do not think this is possible without AI. I think AI would lower the false positive rate significantly.

It doesn't matter whether we're talking about Vengeance or anything else, such as a movie. Flooding a survey about anything with negative reviews, and publicizing a survey link to solicit others with like-minded hostility about something to flood the survey with fake negative criticism, interferes with the process of collecting genuine feedback from active participants.

They apparently do..... with Vengeance. All the socials, Reddit posts, zone chat all were talking about it during the test with lots of positive vibes and busy campaigns. Hence this thread...tomofhyrule wrote: »There's not much ZOS could add to make PvP more enticing either
and the Catzputin name contains the word Putin which runs the risk of being mistaken for controversially political/also potentially violating terms.

It's kind of annoying to be doing a quest when loads of other people are doing it at the same time, or you go somewhere and there's nothing to fight because everything is already dead - or worse, someone is sitting on a location farming XP etc. Quiet is good in my book.
