If crux gen is made easier, fatecarver needs a nerf though. Not a massive one, but enough to fall below like 3rd best in single target setup. A skill being BiS regarding multi target fights should not be on top with single target as well - that just speaks for it being too strong.
I understand balancing is by no means easy, but I'd rather be forced to deal with certain restrictions for the time being than a single specific setup outshining everything else by a mile far beyond what was ever intended!

Dear sweet Divines, THIS. If it's not "AI is mishandling this," it's "We're signing on incompetent and/or malicious people/support centers to handle our customer service, then failing to (re)train them properly to avoid these situations or axe them if they are malicious." And both are a terrible look for ZOS. I get it. You probably only have what your overlords holding the purse strings will let you have for support, but it's still the sort of thing that will cost you players opening their wallets if it goes on.
This brings up something else that came into my mind. Reading the messages Gegensmith exchanged with support, it seems someone is falsely filing abuse reports. And requesting guild name changes they don't actually have the authority to request? It can't be coincidence that both name changes were to the names of already-existing and well-known guilds Ready Room and Echoes of Valhalla. Why is ZOS customer support not making sure the requester really does have permission to do this? And that the names aren't already taken?
So if we've got someone (or multiple someones) falsely requesting guild name changes, then they're not just harassing one person, or even one guild. They're by extension harassing every single member of ALL THREE guilds—Gegensmith's already said Pacrooti's has lost members due to these malicious actions because it destroys trust. No one wants to be in a guild that may have a bad actor lurking and waiting to cause trouble. If all three guilds are near the 500-player cap, that's about 1,500 people being affected by just a few false reports. This seems like something ZOS should be taking very seriously.
(I remember quite a few years back, someone on the forums posted ZOS CS conversation screenshots, complaining their character name was force-changed as "inappropriate" even though it was a very generic, non-offensive name that didn't go against ESO lore. When the person appealed and asked why their name was deemed inappropriate to begin with, the customer service representative admitted that they got so many tickets that they didn't always bother to verify before taking action; they just trusted the reporter was acting in good faith. I think of that conversation a LOT lately....)

In what way can this be construed as a "witch hunt"? Who, exactly, are the targets of this "hunt"?

Perhaps if you had in fact spent time advertising for an LGBTQ+-friendly guild in-game, you would be aware that our mere existence generates phobic, hate-driven responses. It is perfectly reasonable, given that we have had this name for a decade and have been subjected to a forced-name change TWICE in a week's space, to conclude that it is motivated by similar responses.

There is SO much of ESO that isn't designed for a player like me and I never stress about it. If I run out of things to do in ESO, I do something else. IMO, it is a fundamental level of respect that has gone AWOL and a big reason why things are the way they are right now.
I don't stress about not doing dungeons; I just don't do them. If a mode were added for me to be able to complete them without relying on other people, then I would do them. I'm not sure how adding a solo/story mode for dungeons would take anything away from people who play dungeons. The dungeons would still be there, in all their versions, for people to enjoy.

What are these major negative ramifications? I honestly would like to hear your view on it, because I don't know what you mean by it.
Right now, if I can't solo a dungeon, I don't play that dungeon. Nothing is going to convince me to group up with other people to do dungeons or raids; I'm not interested in playing with a group. If a story mode existed for dungeons, I could experience the story (the main reason I play this game) and it wouldn't impact anyone else at all.
Maybe MMO's aren't for you. The idea with an MMO is to group with other players to complete content.
Lol...yeah, maybe they aren't. But the words that make up MMO say nothing about groups. Massively Multiplayer Online...just lots of people in the same place at the same time. Regardless of the definition and interpretation of MMO, nothing about this particular suggestion is stopping people from grouping up if they want to.

Hi all, just wanted to follow up here. Thank you for escalating this. We’ve had a chat with customer service to revert the change to the guild name. We are also investigating why this change happened to begin with.
We just wanted to highlight that we believe the change error occurred because of an incorrect change from a customer service agent. We do want to reiterate that AI was not used as a part of this process and was facilitated by customer service staff. We are looking to figure out exactly where the error occurred so that we can refine the process to avoid the issue in the future.

I think you should calm down a bit. Yes it's irritating, yes we are losing the value of our ESO+ a little, but let's not start talking about people losing jobs and livelihoods. Zenimax have just been hit with a large round of layoffs; we don't want to see yet more devs looking for jobs. I am certain this is not what they want, what they want is the game to work properly and everyone playing as normal. It's late at night here in the EU., Not everyone is available instantly. There's clearly a technical issue, and I believe they should provide us with more information than they have. However, I'm sure they will do everything possible as soon as possible to restore the game and prevent future occurrences of this issue.
Too optimistic, too do-gooder. The problem has persisted for too long, and we're paying real money for this game. I know of free-to-play games that give substantial compensation to players, only for maintenance that lasts a few extra hours. Here, we NEVER see any compensation. We've had a crippling bug for months... no bonuses, no extras, no compensation. It doesn't seem fair or right to me. Of course... that's just my humble opinion.

please put what ever signal is needed from fort worth in europe as well so this can stop this is almost every day now. . you expect player to get eso+ and pay for a season pass and cannot get in game this is pathetic and getting boring very quickly so fix it or get a new lot of players because thats whats going to happen very quickly so microsoft will lose money and then you lose jobs also. thats how big companies work. just stating facts

Customer support is consistently terrible at handling hate speech. I know you like to claim it, @ZOS_Kevin, and you can say all you like that reports aren't handled by AI, but I'm sorry, very few people believe you. And if they do believe you, you understand how that makes ZOS look worse, right? It means customer support will see people in full *** outfits, spewing hatred at an in-game pride event and customer service tells multiple people in less than an hour that that's no violation, despite screenshot and video evidence, then takes around a week for someone to look at it again and realise, oh, wait, the *** are bad, actually. If it's not AI, that is a horrifying level of incompetence regarding hate speech concerns. Combined with the issues both my PC EU guild and Gegensmith have been having with forced name changes for being LGBTQ+ friendly, serious effort needs to be put into re-evaluating how customer service handles these things. Surely the agent should have seen that the name had been appealed successfully within the month and skipped over the report?
Edit: HA! So the three identical letter hate group are censored on the forums at least.

It is time to have a separate login server for the EU that is located in the EU. And if you must have data of an account on both mega servers, sync this in the background. But make it so that players are not affected by this when playing the game.

Not sure how long I can keep holding on.. this is getting beyond ridiculous. 2nd time this week I want to play and have free time for it and getting this.. Not to mention ESO+ days lost, daily rewards lost, endeavours lost (living in Belgium so only way of getting crate stuff), mount skilling lost and so on... Brilliant, just brilliant. Start rolling out compensation for those hit ZoS, it's the only way. Ps. I'm not talking about some lame free non-combat pet or whatever. -- talking crowns, ESO+ days compensation, ...
My coop partner and I are in a similar situation.
We both cancelled our ESO Plus this evening; it was due to auto-renew very soon.
We're not likely to want to play without the sub, so will just get to work on our back catalogue of other games. It's a shame as the Elder Scrolls setting is great, but if we can't reliably play in the small sessions we get together, that's just the way things are.
