Apologies aren't enough. After all these months of being unable to play, we paying players deserve appropriate compensation. @ZOS_JessicaFolsom , how come in other free games players get compensation for much less, but here you never give us anything, just constant and recurring bugs that never get fixed?

Even before subclassing released, I was very vocal about how it would be bad for the game and how it would reduce populations. So far my opinion hasn’t changed, in fact it’s even worse than I expected.

Subclassing led to homogenization as expected, it increased the power gap, made it harder to learn and get into PvP, and it’s nearly impossible to balance in the long term. It’s just a recipe for disaster in nearly every way. I think that subclassing lowered TTK in some cases, but a lot of people seem to slot Restoring Light and camp their rune. The TTK is as long as ever when you run into that sort of thing.

It seems like the TTK isn’t actually all that different between more experienced or properly built players, but it’s extremely low when it’s a properly built player against someone who isn’t. That’s like the worst case scenario and I don’t understand how anyone who values fairness, challenge, and competition (basically a real PvPer) can stand by a system like subclassing.

In a way subclassing is also selecting for players who like having a power advantage over others, but that will only kill the game faster. In the end, the inexperienced or more casual players will avoid fighting at all costs or they’ll simply never return to PvP. Honestly, part of the reason that Midyear Mayhem seemed so dead even in Grey Host could’ve been exactly for this reason. Players would rather sit afk or intentionally only siege empty keeps than engage in real PvP. At this point I can’t even fault them.

Not even theorycrafting with this system is very fun. You’ll just end up with a build centered around shalks, some flavor of Nightblade, or a defile DoT build.

ZOS should consider disabling subclassing in all PvP environments. It’s clearly not going well.

I don't want to be that guy, the occasional maintenance fine. But last month was full of all day maintenance and long periods of time you cant log in. Like some of us pay for the membership but getting playtime cut down. Especially if you have a job at certain times like i do. Not even some gold for comp... kinda sucks tbh

I would like to respectfully disagree that in my experience of similar longevity and number ESO has had more server issues than all other games I have played. Our player experiences with MMOs are very different.

Are you for real? Would be rly interested about input of what MMORPGs you played since I played many myself and have never encountered even at all the slightest or worse or even same server issues than ESO had and still has in any other MMORPGs I played.

Don't get me wrong but your statement sounds so much pro zos that it makes it taste like you are advertising for this game with possible worst server performance in MMORPG history or you may rly work for this company. No front but that's one of the biggest problems ESO has, the denial of accepting the truth of esos performance state and kinda lying to the community about literal facts which are plaguing ESO since almost beginning till now which is the performance .......

PC-EU, can't login either. I get that there can be trouble from time to time, but it's been quite a lot recently. I bet they're not happy about it either, and are working the problem, but I would like a bit more communication on these issues that have become quite regular. And maybe also that they extend the sub by a day, and give us the three event tickets
It doesn't really matter to me that some people could log in and get them and will then get three extra, it's just that I calculated what I could do with the time I had, and it is a bit disappointing to be missing those three that I would have gotten if not for the server issues.

I know this is a tiny problem in a big world, but this entertainment os my resting place where I go to be ok, so it does matter to me, which is a good thing for zos
Because of the maintenance I couldn't play earlier, so now I won't be able to get the daily event ticekts, or endeavors done, or get daily login - or just play the game, not the end of the world, just a shame for me.

Stuff happens, but it is important how you deal with the stuff. I realize that compensation is a wasps nest, and there isn't a ton of examples from zos, but it would be a nice "hey, we know this sucks, sorry about it, here's a little something as a recognition that we see that our players care about playing the game, and showing up every day to obtain ingame rewards - thanks for the patience we wish for "
