Hi all. Thank you for highlighting this. This seems like unintended behavior. The idea was to give access to still view the older housing threads, but have posting happening in the main game systems category. We got user feedback that we had too many categories, so we tried to consolidate some. But Vanilla has some odd things happening on the backend that makes interacting with the category funky.
I think there are two factors that combine to make the current layout more confusing than it was intended to be.
1) "Game Systems" as a catch-all category is a vague name that doesn't actually tell people what topics are discussed in the folder.
2) Meanwhile, there are subfolders with names and descriptions that invite discussion of those topics, but there's no indication that these are meant to be read-only archives of older, inactive threads.
If I were a newcomer to the forum who wanted to discuss housing, I would first have to click around to even land on the Game Systems folder, and then I would see the Housing subforum and think that's the place to be. Then I would either be confused why I couldn't post in any of the threads, or be confused why some threads worked and some didn't.
The fact that some people can still post in the archived folders/threads is its own functionality issue, but if you decide to keep the layout as it currently is, then labeling the old folders as archives and changing the descriptions to explain that they're read-only would be helpful.

Seconding needing more context. I presume you got the number from hodor’s? What fight was this? Some fights are known for very high DPS because of the amount of adds inflating the parse.

Azureblight was absolutely a band-aid solution for other classes to keep up with the beam and it was stupid that we had to rely entirely on one set to do decent AoE damage, but now we don't even have that band-aid. Before the nerf the set was doing around 50k dps, now ZoS has to figure out a way to give that 50k back to non beaming builds just for them to even have a chance at competing with the beam.
The problem with buffing other classes is that arcanist has access to those same exact skills, so if they buff long AoE dots from other classes, arcanist with a beam could use those exact same skills and we would be in this same position once again. The only real solution, is to buff AoE semi spammables, such as blastbones and burning talons, because you can't really use those skills effectively while beaming. But these buffs would have to be absolutely massive, and knowing ZoS that's not going to happen because it doesn't align with the spreadsheets.

Now, it's just not the case. We have taken like 10 steps back right back to the meta we had after the release of arcanist. I just really hope it doesn't take them 2 years to fix this mess only to screw it up again.

Yup people saying ignore it or use a different skill as if I didnt already know I can do that and even said I know I can do that, but why would I do that if fatecarver is the strongest, can be used at range, hits multiple targets and provides a damage shield lol there is no spammable to provides any upside over fatecarver in anything.
Its going to be hard to fix where the game is at for sure cause you are right, if you buff passives or some skills from other lines it can still be used with fatecarver builds so it really does nothing. Every spammable needs a huge buff to be honest to be able to compete and to create build diversity.

We will have more info on the Writhing Wall event next month. But to answer the main question, PC and console will start at the same time. So no two week delay between platforms.

Loved the rewards for this one. As someone who actually enjoys just chilling and running around collecting materials, this one felt like a breeze. 1,500 seals, a load of writs/vouchers and attuneable stations? Yes please.

For those who don't know, the "heavy attack bug" is actually few different things.
1. Heavy attacks will auto cancel. This means that if a player is trying to continuously heavy attack, they can stop for no reason with the command still held. The command has to be released before starting again.
2. Heavy attacks may not start when the command is held. The player will just stand there doing nothing.
3. The heavy attack may miss the enemy who is directly in front of the player, or do no damage on the hit, while still applying a status effect.
Here is the thread on the topic. I have submitted roughly 50 bug reports over the last 10 months and sent multiple clips of the problems occurring.
