The map leads are so frustrating. I really wish ZOS would do something to fix them.

It is incorrect to say that the three original 'Hero' costumes 'were not available for many years'.
They have appeared in the Crown Store on a fairly regular rotation since introduction.

It's not a non existent problem, do you play PvP? However it is a return to form for DK, ironically while everything else has dissolved, we've reconstituted.

There is absolutely no universe in which subclassing breaks TESO and renders it unplayable. It's just another way to play the game. For example, as a nightblade, my main character is far more secure and agreable to play now that it was before Subclassing.

If you like PvP, you like challenge. You're not forced to use Subclassing but if opponent players use it and it gives them a chance to best you ? See it as a challenge and rethink your character and strategy. It's just a new puzzle to solve to improve yourself. That's how competition works, by the way, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, and when you lose, absolutely nothing in the universe forces you to post a forum thread to complain. Again : new way of playing, puzzle to solve.

ZOS do not learn anything at all?

Game needs refresh every patch, otherwise it will be boring [snip]. Why do you think you lost about 60% of your community? Because you keep meta for year and like that.
Once i saw good changes about sorcs i was happy to think that modern boring meta-builds for PvP will begone, but since they reverted changes for this class [snip], there's no actual change in PvP and only more stable subclass-release meta.

it's not about hurting their feelings. they are using some sort of addon/script/whatever to automate it and they stand in the middle of the crafting area. if you are doing dailies on your toons and have a guild spot available, you will get it 1-5 times per character depending on how many times you run past them... on every toon you are doing dailies on.

For years we've had huge changes every 3 months - no, thanks.
The playerbase was tired and made it clear. Devs reacted accordingly and the past 2 years have been easier on us.
Personally I don't want to come back to dramatic changes every 3 months, I very much prefer as it is now.

Really? Nothing's changed in the past 2 years? Like... the meta now is the same as it was back in March?

Look, Subclassing was a nuke that got thrown onto the game and we're all still picking up the pieces of it and getting used to the new things. And I think that's really what the main issue is as to why U47 is very light - Subclassing was a lot more of an issue than anyone (the combat team, at least) was expecting, and they're still probably trying to figure out what to do to balance it.

We all as players can call out the OP lines right away. Heck, the major discords were all calling the OP setups within a day of hearing about Subclassing. But I have a feeling that the Combat team was not looking at Subclassing as a way to shake up the meta; rather they were expecting it to 1) bring people back to the game since they had new freedom, and 2) all players to start playing around and making fun builds, and 3) be able to give Arcanist beam to everyone so they could all do higher-level content.
...and what happened? Well, we had some of that, but there is a large faction of players who preferred their original setup and chose not to Subclass, which meant they all just ate a bunch of nerfs for no reason. You got a bunch of people who were overwhelmed with choice. You got a bunch of people who are annoyed by the grind. All of those people ended up not using Subclassing, and even some of them left the game. And add to that that the people who are getting the most out of the higher damage are the people at the top end in the first place, so now we have groups who are pulling the most ridiculous mechanics skips and making endgame only more inaccessible to most.

I definitely noticed a change when U47's patch dropped. U46's PTS was talking to a brick wall - we were all saying how this would be a bad thing and it needed more time to cook, but they pushed it out anyway. And... well, we saw that the players tend to have a better view on how players will receive this than the devs. U47 tried to further nerf pure classes by changing unique passives to named buffs, and then the uproar finally allowed them to realise the answer was to keep them unique but not allow them to stack. We even got the "How do you enjoy Subclassing?" thread, which absolutely reads like "This feature that we thought would save the game and bring us back to 2020 levels completely failed to do so so please tell us why we were so wrong about that."

Because of all that though, I'm expecting we'll see some decent stuff in U48. Usually the major combat stuff is in the odd patches and the evens are smaller, but with U47 still reeling from Subclassing and now the combat team realizing that they need to balance all 21 lines individually instead of as Classes, without giving too much power to combos but also without taking power away if you don't have that combo... well, that's a lot to chew there. I do hope the plan of making ult-gen passives unique-but-unstackable is going to be pert of their plan for U48 though, particularly as a way to knock down all of the various crit/damage passives that allow for players to stack 200k DPS monster builds that trivialize every mechanic in the game.
