Translated: Vengeance was fun when we could gank,grief and farm new solo PvP players trying out the new mode with our seasoned PvP veteran group (probably in Discord voice chat too). But those players either left PvP quickly again or avoid us all together. So now we no longer have fun, so Vengeance development should be dropped entirely.
A lot of anti-vengeance posts usually sound exactly the same if you read between the lines.
That said; they should keep everything there is now and run Vengeance along side it. That way people can keep playing the things they enjoy already and new players, casual players and people who like a more balanced and monitored playground can get converted to regular PvP players. That won’t happen if they get invisible group shotted 5 times a row when they try PvP for the first time.

When Vengeance becomes permanent in Update 50, you should be able to queue in there instantly and then PvP in there while waiting for the queue for Gray Host. Update 49 added the ability to queue for other Cyrodiil/IC campaigns while you're already in one.
I like both Vengeance and Gray Host. I hope ZOS adds Werewolf to Vengeance soon, preferably some time after we get the reworked Werewolf in Update 50.

I know the card game isn't very popular, but ever since Season of the Worm Cult each year brought something new for Tales of Tribute. In 2025 we got nothing and in all of the streams / directs about 2026 I haven't heard or read one single word about Tales of Tribute.
Can we please get official clarification on
a) if we get a new deck this year
b) if anything else is planned for ToT or
c) if decks and cards get rebalanced adjusted.
If the feature has been abandoned, please tell us, it's better to know the hard truth than to be left unknowing about its future.

Re: U50 Feedback Thread for Challenge Difficulty
So, I logged in and saw the Master tag on the loading screen, opened the character menu and saw it was set to Master. I think that UI element is a little on the big side, doesn't really blend with the rest of the UI but it does stand out. When I ran to a nearby dungeon to test combat I didn't notice any difference when I entered, only to find I was set to normal somehow. Aside from that the system works well enough, and I appreciate the fact that it exists so it can be built upon.
My issue is, once I got the difficulty set, is that fights didn't really change much, basic fights we still just as basic, since many enemies spend so much time preparing to attack or using attacks that do bugger all that their increased damage didn't matter. And when I went to Wrothgar to try out Old Orsinium I did die a few times. It actually put a smile on my face, until I realized that the only thing that ever really did me in was multiple ranged mobs all doing basic attacks. I mentioned this ages ago in the Overland Content Feedback Thread, that simply making enemies hit harder and us hit weaker was not only something we could do ourselves with gear, but it wouldn't address the main pressure point I feel with most encounters outside of dungeons and trials.
Enemies at large are just way to basic, years ago when the whole pass was done where "increased the damage but reduced the health of tank enemies" and what not, there isn't anything differentiating one enemy class from another, all mobs are just as durable, deal just about as much damage, give so much grace with their special attacks that they're normally debuffs for the attacker, hence why the light attack barrage was the biggest threat. My reason for preferring instances over debuffs was because I feel, to be impactful, most enemies need to do more in combat. Yes they need more health to live long enough to act, and they need enough damage to justify paying attention to, but without anything else to make them more, I guess the term is 'stand out', overall enemies remain a giant grey glob, doesn't matter if you're fighting bandits, deadra, or ghosts. I know it can't be easily done with a player sided modifier, but if enemies could use more advanced attacks against specific players, that could do something, though again, that'd bleed over onto players who don't want harder content, but as it is I either noticed nothing different or just got instantly gibbed at the start of the fight because I didn't hard cc all the ranged mobs, harder, yes, and I have to pay attention, but if that's it then I don't really feel like challenging myself on that highest difficulty, just seems tedious.
And in addition, the biggest feedback will be how it feels to be in the middle of a fun fight, only to have a player on a lower difficulty clear the fight without noticing me, and being left waiting for the enemies to respawn, it's an issue that already exists in the game, and once this goes live I'll just have to wait and see how often fate puts that situation on me.

Re: Massive meta shifts every 1.5 months is horrendous for the game and player base
My hope is when the class changes are done, the difference between them all will not be as extreme as they are now and the meta will only be slightly better. That way you can run off-meta and still be fine and accepted into groups. Then further changes should just be slight tweaks to the different classes and not wholesale changes that wreck them.
HA and Velothi should not be heavily nerfed because some of us are unable to light attack due to age and overuse, mainly due to trying to light attack for ten years. We aren’t just lazy.

Condensing the queue makes sense. Those 8 guys on Blackreach are like 10% of the whole GH server, it needs all the help it can get to reach a critical mass where it's active 24/7.
The problem is they're removing the campaign with fewer restrictions.
It's fine if there's only one non-Vengeance campaign, but they need to do away with Faction Lock if they're getting rid of Blackreach since now if you have multiple toons on different alliances, you either play Vengeance or you're relegated to 1 or 2 characters.

I agree that it seems like the masteries can do well for single target dummy parses... which does not match what subclassing can do in actual combat.
For me, the main thing is that sorc just does not have enough cleave damage compared to fatecarver. Unless the implosiony skill does aoe damage, I think I just have to wait for the refresh before going back to monoclassing.

Hi ZOS,
Stop doing this, the majority of your PvP base does not want this washed game mode. We don’t want to contribute anything to your “testing” because we are against it. Frankly, it’s a waste of time. With all the good that’s being done recently in the studio this is the remaining outlier of a team clinging to one last bad decision. It feels like we’re just being reminded to stay skeptical of the PvP dev team’s vacuum decision making philosophy.

Can we test PvE Vengeance on April 20th too?
Basically, your best option is to participate as early as it goes live, and spam dmg aoes en masse.
If all PvPers and their grannies show up and help testing whether the cap of 6 will or will not melt down the servers, we might be done with that test in a couple of days.
Boycotts are pointless now, Vengeance will go live, so if you want to have GH back faster then help test this change.
Not to mention that this test is perhaps the most important - in a megazerg environment such as Vengeance we need bombing more than ever, and a cap of 3 on dmg aoe is ridiculous beyond belief.
Ah yes, that’s right…. Hancho always has a reason or incentive for us to play Vengeance, in this case it’s so we can get GH back faster lol. What a joke. No thanks, hope they limit your AoEs to one person and yall can enjoy those Megabanger battles you mentioned at 61fps.
You can show your bad faith all you want, but the point stands: whining about a one-week test is pathetic when there is a practical solution to shorten its duration.
