Agreed! I have often wished for this. It used to be much worse, however -- the timer used to be only a few seconds and there would not even be time to turn in the quest often, if everyone else immediately left.
On a related note, I would also like the option to opt out of getting immediately pulled to a boss as soon as the speed runner arrives at it. I often get pulled away from a chest I am opening, loot I am collecting, or trash mobs I am fighting. I am glad the option for the pull exists (so you can still get credit for the last boss even when there is a speed runner) but it should not be obligatory.

Isn't the current golden pursuits a preview of Night Market with 1 of 3 fractions to join, where you do PVP, group dungeons(not soloing), trials for additional rewards. I like the golden pursuits, but not the PVP & grouping up for group dungeons.

Umm, because people like PVP and playing in groups? I don’t understand this weird mentality where ever time ZOS does something that doesn’t cater to a specific group, that group comes out of the woodwork and screams about how it’s not fair.
- Group content, solo players complain
- Solo content, group players complain
- PVE content, PVP players complain
- PVP content, PVE players complain (in record numbers)
Can we acknowledge that maybe, just maybe, the entire game isn’t meant for everyone and that’s okay? Enjoy what you do, and avoid what you don’t.
Which brings me to the original post. Some of you also need to accept that you’re not going to get every reward or complete every objective. You don’t need it. And if getting everything under the sun is your objective, understand that doing so is going to take a lot of time, require doing stuff you might not like, and take most of your effort away from the stuff you do like.

This is on my top three most wished for things in game right now. I have several character concepts I'd love to have in game. Almost every other mmo offers at least double the character slots eso does and it would be really nice to see even a slight increase before more classes. I know a lot of rpers who would be very happy with just a few more slots to play with.

Also for people who have multiple accounts. Good for you for finding a workaround that worked for you. This workaround doesn't work for a lot of people for a few reasons.
1. A lot of people play only on one account.
2. Collectibles. Any Motif, emote, mount, pet, etc. This is huge as it would take a ton more time to grind all of the stuff out on a second account and some of the stuff only drops for a limited time or is no longer dropping.
3. Housing. First off, just the houses themselves but also being able to make things to go into the houses and set them up. yes you could just travel to one of your "friends" (your primary account) house but housing is still important here.
4. Titles/Achievements/Clears: Many people have specific titles they use on specific characters or have run through specific content on a character for a reason. If they have a new character on their main account and they want a title, they might already have that. On a second account they would have to get this title again. This gets challenging when a new account needs to be leveled and geared.
5. CP. Champion points are account wide, you would have to re-farm CP on subsequent accounts.
6. Gear. Same thing with gear as with CP. Gear is account bound.
Those are just some of the reasons that the whole multiple account thing is a non-starter as a solution for a lot of people.

Hi ZOS,
Stop doing this, the majority of your PvP base does not want this washed game mode. We don’t want to contribute anything to your “testing” because we are against it. Frankly, it’s a waste of time. With all the good that’s being done recently in the studio this is the remaining outlier of a team clinging to one last bad decision. It feels like we’re just being reminded to stay skeptical of the PvP dev team’s vacuum decision making philosophy.

ZOS, I would like to personally thank you for continuing to develop Vengeance and not give up on bringing some much-needed change(s) to Cyrodiil PvP in this game. Cyrodiil PvP in and of itself is not friendly to the casual gamer, it's easy to see, as well as all the challenges facing regular Cyrodiil gameplay, including things like ball groups, emp exploiting, PvP Guilds being noninclusive and people dying so extremely fast with strong builds, I mean like it doesn't even matter. Something had to give and Vengeance is part of this. It is a natural response to how bad things have been in Cyrodiil for the last several years. That said, please know that many of us enjoy Vengeance, we like having alternatives, Vengeance is something that brings everyone on a more level, more equitable playing field and does not implicitly favor a few people who themselves are guilty of repeatedly running exploitive gameplay, using sets like RoA and Winterborn, among others, and in my opinion are abusive towards their fellow gamers. We're all there to have fun not talk about real world stuff and not be fed humble pie cause 5 to 15 people want to play a role and abuse people's time for hours.
You cannot have results like this, again, for years and not have some kind of equal and opposite effect to try and balance things. It's good to think of other people once in a while and many of the exploiters in Cyrodiil only care about themselves, especially in the Guilds. To them the rest of us are invisible, which I don't know how many of you has been in a war or been in the military but that is not how it works. So anyways, I respectfully disagree with @SneaK, I wish Vengeance a successful test and look forward to whatever we can use to make Cyrodiil a classier, more respectable and equitable place for PvPers to spend their hard-earned time and money. Some have had their way for so long and they just, don't want to give it up and have to work hard, to actually learn how to fight in PvP without a machine-proc or group mechanic playing for them, which places them on a more level PvP experience along with the rest of us. Rather than 2 factions on an entire server dying to (1) Emp or a Ball Group for hours. This is immoral, it is a display of the worst type of behavior we've seen before in other now-dead games and those games are dead for good reason. It is my sincere hope that ESO never ends up like them.

If they would stop doing these tests (as the very vocal anti-Vengeance players demand it), what should ZOS be doing instead? If the answer is nothing, then you've pretty much doomed Cyrodiil for everyone.
Just stop taking away normal Cyrodiil, it’s not a hard concept. They have to though cause participation in Vengeance is abysmal when they run side by side.
Normal Cyrodiil is boring, stale, and outdated.

Seems cruel.
Dogs and cats adapt fine with 3 legs. It’s not like it’s done for fashion purposes. I think OP just wants their pet in the game, which isn’t that uncommon of request!

That's harsh, untrue and the reason some people prefer to be solo.
There's lots of reasons people avoid groups from mental health and lack of confidence to physical restrictions and bullying before you get to something as simple as just antisocial.
This is a huge game with something to offer a massive variety of players. Dismissing anyone who doesn't want to play how you think they should with words like babies and losers doesn't help anyone

I get that people feel that there's excessive hate for Pet Sorcs but if we set feelings aside for a moment and look at what the real complaints are with Sorc pets it's not the lore or identity aspect it's the fundamental mechanics.
So much has changed since ESO launched. Much has changed behind the nature of combat and how effective combat carries out in game. Whether any of us like that or not that's a real truth. That said, any and every class skill sets should seek to perform within the context for the current combat environment.
I agree that having to double slot pets is unfair, I also beleive that having to multi-cast Prey to redirect and control Sorc pets amounts to a "double tax" on Sorcs that isn't really fair given how little damage those pets do.
The reason players hate on pets is because they severely under-perform in the context of what most all other skills in the game deliver. I get people like playing pets but it's pretty factually demonstrated that Sorc pets have a low slot rate. They don't consistently top Logs and they're not a mainstay in PvP, and it's no wonder why.
When Sorcs as a class are notoriously short on raw burst damage, having to carry around a skill line that features skills and passives dedicated toward underperforming pets causes pain points.
If one is going to ask to keep pets or see pets get more love from players then they need to admit that pets are lacking and advocate for the actual full rebuild that they need. Not just bumping up values, not just enabling a one slot summon, but an actual rebuild of the mechanics that sees them delivering on power output or major buff potential that skills in other classes bring.
As it stands now they're little more than body blocks that deal pin prick damage and are incredibly easily mitigated.
It's hard to make a case for Sorc pet lore when Sorcs are more often having to rely on World & Weapon skill lines to fill a build out rather than being able to truly rely on their own Class, or being confined to a primarily HA playstyle .. There's very little build variety in either of those whereas other Classes can go ham build crafting.

Last I checked, WWs have a super inexpensive gap-closer that you should probably use.
Maybe when out of combat such a thing is more reasonable.
