I run a Necro/NB/Plar with Orders/Wretched/Balorgh/Monomyth, Defending Backbar puts me at 28k resists and I have 35k health with 4 medium, 2 heavy, one light.
By no means a "tank".
I'm also not sure what you mean by "of course you will not notice these problems". That's the point we're trying to make to you. If you're getting one-shot, you're too squishy. Build tankier.

TLDR: Yes that's normal. Remember to laugh. 
It's pretty normal, and has been for a couple years now.
It's also normal for the majority of the AD population to be comprised of AFK bots, or trolls until prime time. A good chunk of the rest just want to leech AP and get very very toxic if they don't get carried.
Hamtaro help you if you try to lead a PUG group during the hours all that is happening.
It's also normal for certain groups of 'pro high skill' people on EP to be openly assisting DC so they can score boost and look good on live stream. Or just because they're trolls trying to harrass other players for the crime of playing the same game as them.
The net effect being to pound down on anyone who wants to do more than PVDoor, and farm level 10s.
Fortunately once or twice a year AD something will shift and AD will win a gray host campaign. Often two.
Sadly the trolls who hate good fights tend to double down on their antics when that happens. Usually at fare lumber mill.
Something some people on EP seem quite pleased with live streaming. Often with commentary about how that makes them 'top tier' even as they're effectively helping DC gate camp an effectively dead map.
Fortunately that just means we all get to laugh at them for being such desperate sweaty scrubs. Especially when they flee in terror from yet another DC emperor and his fifty five closest friends. Preferring instead to instead show all the bravey and skill one expects of a baby seal clubber.

I would appear that either my earlier phrasing was unintentionally very misleading, or I'm running into some sort of significant cultural difference. Just goes to show the dangers of plain text on the worldwide internet I suppose.
To my mind there is a meaningful difference between "you should not do that" (negative, judgemental, policing), and "are you sure you want to do that?" (positive, friendly, supporting). The latter was my intent, but evidently this did not come across sufficiently clearly.
Apologies to teisoshin for causing a distraction in his thread. I shall refer my original post to the mods.

We will have guidance to make sure everyone is aware of their server timing for this. This should be outlined in info shared next month.

I'd like to see a proper Battlemage class most. While we can arguably combine different class and weapon skills to build some sort of Battlemage ourselves, getting an actually coherent class with a mechanic that fits the theme would be nice (though I don't have any ideas for such a mechanic).
I think some sort of Shaman would be cool too. One skill line could have elemental abilities, one skill line could have abilities that summon totems and spirits, and one skill line could have primal abilities.
I think a Berserker/Barbarian would be nice as well. Quite a few players seem to be interested in building a non-magical melee build, but just using weapon skills isn't viable for harder content at the moment. But maybe this would be better suited for a single skill line instead of three. Truth be told, I'm having a hard time coming up with 5 good skills for such a skill line that aren't similar to the current Two Handed/ Dual Wield skills myself.
