Dominion Fisher Yellow, the most "yellow" dye in the selection, isn't even yellow on most materials. It ends up being this disgusting fluorescent green on most cloth.

Divine Gold, Patrons Gold etc just look orange on certain materials. It is good for metals, but nothing else does it keep the yellow flavor on.

Dominion Yellow doesnt even look yellow on most cloth. Its even more bronzy on metals.

Sulfur Yellow is more greenish, just like Dominion Fisher yellow.

And then we have stuff that looks like pale tans such as 10 year anniversary ivory or the other one that is similar but slightly more bronze tan.

So my point is, most of the selection of yellows are terrible. They go from Bronze to green to green to bronze to tan. There are no actual yellows that stay yellow, like for House Mornard in Galen that is the yellow i want on cloth portions, not this nasty green yellow.



I want a nice yellow that is consistently like this all the time.

CAN WE PLEASE have that? You have 40 reds, 10 black and whites, 40 purples, and plenty of greens. A good selection of blues, but a terrible selection of Yellow. What makes this worse is the selection of ORANGES are great, so what happened there exactly?

Did your ability to play and/or complete certain types of game content improve after the launch of Update 46?
Yes.

If so, prior to the launch of Update 46, what was your character build?
Nightblade tank. I have a main character and it's my favourite one to play, even though I have 19 others as well; I just don't care about them as much.

What did you change to your character build when Update 46 launched that allowed you to play or complete content that you had trouble with before?

For the time being, I have dropped Shadow and Assassination and I have been replacing them with whatever I dang well need in a given situation. I'm still learning what all the non-NB skill lines do and how they can synergise with each other, and how the passives work together when all mixed up. It definitely feels good to be able to have a shield that I can share with friends, self-heals that don't require me to stand still (or block, in the future), or an oh-crap ultimate that makes me near-invincible. Once I've taught myself how to use the other class kit, I may actually grab Shadow occasionally if I want to not worry about using a skill to get Major Resolve -- I have played a pure NB tank for a decade and cleared a lot of difficult content with it; I know how to use the toolkit, but in some cases the toolkit is just not good enough, not even with scribing, so having the freedom to swap in stuff that can help is just really, really fun for me.

What game content was it?
Well, for one example, slotting Bone Tyrant alongside Earthen Heart, the necro passives and magma shell allowed me to more or less laugh in the face of hardmode Arkasis in Stone Garden which was just not a possibility before. I don't care how many videos tell me to "just dodge the fire dagger, man", I am not in fact a 17 year old boy with the reflexes of a God, us mere mortals end up eating that DoT, and necro passives plus DK shields made it survivable whilst all the NB self-heals stacked on top of each other did not.

Sitting in voice chat with a bunch of dudes from my vet trials team while farming dragons last night. A very group play oriented bunch. The topic turned to this dungeon, and I was surprised a little that we all shared the same opinion. If you don't want people to solo it, make the dungeon have hard, decent mechanics that require group play and the trinity. Don't just gate it with a pressure pad. That's lame.

A better question would be why is WoW still going when ESO seems to be struggling?

I haven't played WoW in over ten years and like EOS better but apparently WoW has something that either keeps long term players OR brings in enough new players that stay to offset the leavers. And WoW does not even have a platform.

Maybe something that the gaming designers need to study?

Myself I tend to believe it's due to the constant major changes all the time. I'm so sick of having to rebuild my builds every time I find one I enjoy. Changes to core class skills like NB cloak, vendoring from 30 to two week time frame without a reduction in listing fees, jabs changes, especially mythic items being OP during a chapter release then getting toned down every single time later on, examples go on and on. Just ran people out of the game due to changes very FEW liked or asked for. And in many cases they were brought up on the testing server way ahead of time. No replies or changes. I think many of us just feel unheard.

Just so plain tired I managed to get one characters skills up for subclassing but when I got to the point of deciding which armor set and what CP points to choose I just stopped. We've seen nothing but nerfs/changes since it went live and if anything history tells us these changes are not going to stop. IMO WoW makes changes but not massive nerf hammers or core gameplay changes to things many enjoy every few months. ESO has a better world, better quests, it's not so cartoony looking as WoW which is why I like it better.

I'd probably just quit playing MMO's altogether and spend the rest of my existence constructing a life size replica of myself made out of different colored dyed rice.

I don't think AI is at the point where it can replace an entire team. For example, the writing. If you want deep stories that resonate with people, forget AI. I've been using Duolingo as part of my "learn French" project, and it uses a lot of AI. At first, it was fine - it was just the voices and short lessons. But recently it's become clear that they're also using AI to write story units. My god, those units used to be funny and engaging. Now they read like a textbook and they're boring. Turned my favourite type of lesson into the worst type.

I shudder to think what a game produced mainly by AI will be like. Not just the flat, boring stories, but the entire experience. Glad I've got a large gaming library already with lots of favourites to play so I won't have to worry about all the AI dreck.

I'm all for AI when it makes sense (though due to the horrible environmental impacts, I could do without it, too). It does not make sense in creative areas like gaming except to aid with coding.

I wonder who will be buying all the stuff AI is producing when most people don't have jobs because AI replaced them?

Anyway, I don't like to be doom and gloom about the future of ESO because we're talking about real people at ZOS. I think the plans for 2026 will be an indication of whether the game will continue to get meaningful updates.
