My warden main is similar to yours in having done a lot of stuff and unlocked most of the game. She's not obsolete to me. I don't care what others think of her. She hasn't been meta beyond being a good healer in all the time I've had her. She still works in PvP as a pure class and can do all the PvE things she did before. I'm not going to subclass her for vet trials, as I honestly have no real interest in those any more.SkaraMinoc wrote: »My main character, the one I've done all quests on and discovered all points of interest, found all skyshards, learned all crafting, etc. is now obsolete thanks to Subclassing. The builds that I need to stay competitive are no longer possible on my main class, so I must reroll another character and start fresh. Either that or buy skill lines from the crown store and switch characters anytime I need something crafted. You get the idea.
It's also been said before but Subclassing has distilled combat down to maybe 5 skill lines for the serious high-end competitive gameplay.
"oh wow, you're playing XYZ... how original" etc
Personally I would run a windows repair, as I doubt the drives are failing. It is more likely something ended up corrupted with the new windows install for some reason. Also, make sure to install your chipset/audio/network/SATA/etc drivers for your motherboard. And as with any clean install, check ALL settings for everything and see which background programs are running. Microsoft likes to send itself data and runs lots of things you don't need in the background, turn these off.Mathius_Mordred wrote: »I recently updated my system from Windows 10 to Windows 11. ESO used to work fine before, no problems. Now its just stuttering, freezing and even crashing. Sometimes it freezes my pc for a moment. ESO usually recovers after a freeze but most of the time it just crashes to desktop. Every other program and game works just fine. I even did another Windows 11 installation, this time it was clean install but nothing changed. I have tried different Nvidia drivers and updated everything i can. I tried low and ultra graphics settings and playing without any addons but issues just remain. Game is currently pretty much unplayable for me. I have a decent pc, that used to be more than enough for ESO. And still should be! So specs are not an issue. CPU i7 9700k, GPU RTX 3080.
This is not what most of us are experiencing, your issue sounds like hardware to be honest. Check your SSD, it could be failing.
I have multiple drives. M2 NVMe and sata SSD and neither works. And they're definitely not failing. LIke i said, everything else works just fine and normal.

I never thought I would like it, I was skipping MYM for long time before giving it a shot (aka “forced” to get my tickets), and discovering with surprise that I actually enjoy PvP even more than PvE. I think there might be more cases like mine, so I would rather keep PvP areas as they are.
Or perhaps more people would take a look at the PvE version of IC and use that experience to form the next step in trying the PvP instance with the benefit of knowing the layout and there being far less mystique surrounding their first steps in PvP land. It might reduce the number of players (like me) who have never dipped a toe into IC or Cyrodiil and have no intention of ever doing so because whatever their past playstyle has been (mine has included some PvP in other games) they simply have no wish to embrace PvP in this game.
The best I think, if anyone wants to try the PvP instance of IC, they should start in U50 Cyro, get some hold on PvP (shield, heal, block, interrupt etc), see where they need to beef up their build & skill, and only then wander into IC. Discovering the layout by yourself and finding your own strategies around the place is fun as well.
And for those people who don't want to have to "get good" but actually experience the zones? Why are so many of the PVPers so opposed to this, scared you will run out of easy kills to boost your K/D?
AardvarkMcG wrote: »MiathTheRed wrote: »Absolutely not. While IC is the same six or seven people without an event going who ruthlessly hunt down anyone who dares intrude upon their space, it is fundamentally a part of the pvp experience.
Which is why most people don't go to the PVP zones to quest/skyshard hunt etc. when the PVP experience for non-dedicated PVPers is getting ganked continuously
pvp should be done away with outside of battle grounds
