You cant control cheaters. You can only control how you respond to cheaters.
I am not saying they do or do not exist. I am only saying that you can choose to get upset or choose to move on and enjoy the game if you feel you have encountered one. Anyone who does cheat, if they exist, have enough character issues as it is to spend time finding ways to cheat at a game... or anything in life for that matter. Let it go. Be the bigger person.

Re: Furnishing vault limit needs a significant increase
The only thing that will help is to stop buying furnishings that there isn't a current need for and sell furnishings that have just been sitting around for years not being used.

In my opinion, I'm going to meet members where they are, whether it's the MOTD, Discord, Guild Chat or, yes, Guild Mails.
Yes it's just one-click to see the MOTD or a couple clicks to view a Discord notification, but not everyone does. It doesn't make them substandard members in my opinion, but maybe that's just me...
The members that don't take the few seconds it takes to read an updated MOTD or check Discord are probably not carefully reading a guild mail either.

The "Door, Sweet Mother" has collision and therefore renders any door unusable that you place it over, however it doesn't really look like a traditional door.
Also which is actually quite fun the door you place it over is still usable from the other side..... great for trapping people!!

I hope that this problem and the fuss that has been raised about it will finally give the zos a reason to still work and improve the guild system in the game.
After 10 years, it would be nice to give the guild leadership more tools that do not require a bunch of addons and other things. Not to mention some guild content.

And yet there are some of us who very much enjoy levelling new characters. I for one am dying to get a new Class so I can make a brand new character (who already had 8 pages of lore notes that I need to write up as soon as I know what his abilities are).
I am a TES fan, but I also recognize that as an MMO, ESO must have some mechanics that differ from the mainline solo RPGs. Nobody went into Legends expecting the standard skills, after all.
Subclassing is a great way for them to add new Classes in such a way that people who don't want to level a new character can just pick up those lines, but also doesn't take away from the people who do like the way ESO works. I'd love if they made Subclassing even freer - remove the XP and skill point penalties, allow swapping all three lines, and allow taking multiple lines from the same parent Class - but I would just like them to balance this properly. U47 did start making it so some lines have unique ultigen passives that don't stack with each other, but are still unique non-named buffs. I hope they continue to do that with the other passives.
But one person's enjoyment of the game should not involve removing someone else's.

Good point here about subclassing helping to avoid the tedium of starting new characters. Getting to L50 is easy and I find numerous skill lines enjoyable (FG, MG, Undaunted). The Hero's Return only asks you to craft 3 items and it doesn't care which items you craft. These were all part of my normal routine of getting the daily crafting writs out of the way before heading off to do other things. Because this is a new-ish character (only been played a few hours total) and it's the only character I have on PC EU, the craft bag is pretty close to empty. Were I to spend some serious time playing that character, then the craft bag would fill up on it's own as I'm a harvest-as-I-go player. For my normal PC NA characters, the only issue with doing Alchemy Writs is Mudcrab Chitin but I have a couple of farming spots that will get me over any immediate shortage (a couple or three writs' worth) and can just be a bit more diligent about nabbing them as I run around. Today's Alchemy add on EU was 3 Corn Flower and the quest to acquire it took me across Gold Coast and out the northern gate, across West Weald to the Craglorn gate, across lower Craglorn to Elinhir, then across Upper Craglorn to the area just west of the Dragonstar wayshrine where I found the third. It wasn't wasted time since I picked up a lot of other mats, another level from trash and exploration, and unlocked a lot of wayshrines in the process, but that was one long haul for three flowers. Plus a few crafting levels from deconning all the junk dropped by the trash.
The tutorial quests (certifications) do point you to some resources for those quests, but you can find that they've already been harvested by the time you get there. Provisioning's tutorial is "there's a recipe over there in that trunk, so snag it and then go find yourself some meat." IIRC, it's about six or ten nodes for the gear stuff, so it's enough to get you through a couple of days of writs with the expectation that you'll see similar nodes as you're running around and harvest them, I suppose.

can confirm. been a member of many big guilds and i don't pay attention to MOTD because that's rarely ever the kind of info that is there. there's not enough space on the guild info page, so it spills over to there. most guilds will put some weekly info in there (like contests, raffle winners, big sellers, etc), but anything major super important emergency (like guild history isn't working SO DON'T BUY RAFFLE TICKETS!!!!!) will go in an in game mail. these get read because they aren't sending them out every day. i might get 2 or 3 a year per guild
I'm on console so I haven't ever received a mass mail. Instead officers will periodically bring this up in chat and others will do the same for stuff like this. I'd prefer a mail because that seems exhausting. But it's not base game functionality and console only recently received add-ons. I'm not sure that the add-on for mail is even one of them.
I don't read MOTD every time it pops up because it has a lot of guild information that I already know or don't need. Like the winners of a raffle that I didn't buy tickets to participate in.
