Re: Official Night Market Feedback Thread
I know I might be beating a dead horse at this time with over 22 pages of comments/feedback. But I've got to give my two cents as well.
I wish I could love the Night Market. It is an interesting idea, a limited event to get people engaged with PVE content. But after three days playing with it, it needs some major changes.
1) The obvious one that most people seem to be in agreement with: Lowering the Difficulty. Regular mobs should be solo difficulty. With 20+ years of playing MMOs, I can tell you people don't like to group up just to defeat mobs. As one of my professors said about the subject: "If you're worried your game's difficulty going so high, go solo."
2) Side quests in the three areas need to have one location they can be given. I don't want to scour the maps looking for these quests, which feel very much like busywork. It's a QoL change I'd like to see that would be easy to implement.
3) This one is more a personal gripe, but Mounts...please let us use mounts if not in the precincts, at least in the hub area. I know why they are locked out of certain areas, but would be a real time saver in others.
In conclusion, this was the time for the new directors to come out swinging, showing the community they care and working hard to make the game better. I thought after all these years, the "Fear Player Power Creep" doctrine was behind us. But right now from the recent actions of this new team, from where I'm sitting, it feels like New Blood, Same Old Business.
Anyway, thank you for reading this. Sorry if it got jaded there at the end, but I've been playing ESO for most of the ten years since beta and I...wanted the game to better for everyone, not just me. I might be missing a few issues here and there, but you get the idea. Again, thanks and have a good day/night.

I pay, I’ve been subscribed since day one. I think the NM is fantastic. I’m having so much fun. One of the best things they’ve ever done.

It's disappointing that 90 percent of it is, once again, (like IA) re-used assets from dungeons. How many times do we have to suffer through the march of sacrifices trap phase? Gold health bars are tired.

@ZOS_Kevin @ZOS_JessicaFolsom This needs fixed. Overall the group finder does its job well, but if someone was faking a role and swaps it busts the whole listing. I had to disband and reform an achievement pug attempt at a skirmish because of it. By the time the groups were ready it had despawned. This was partially my fault for ill planning, but the bugs in the system didn't help.
This has actually been an issue for quite awhile, I am guessing the team knows but more attention to it wouldn't hurt.

Please, this really needs fixing. Players changing their roles can spoil almost every run where roles matter!

Please, this really needs fixing. Recently I have played a lot of trials and used GF. Players that change their role can ruin a lot of groups because of it.

Specifically, her heavy attack is two back-to-back attacks. If the attack hits you (regardless of whether or not its blocked), it will embed a barb in your body, and that barb will explode after a few seconds (the small red circle is the telegraph for that explosion).
So that's what Soarora means by hitting you for 4 times: The attack itself can hit twice, and each hit will embed a barb that will explode, for another two hits.
You really, really want to dodge her heavy attacks. Both hits of the heavy attack. It's going to be rough on stam, though, since they're back-to-back, so you're going to get the roll dodge cost penalty. The hardest part about soloing her is maintaining the resources to dodge both hits of her heavy.

I read you use Packmaster Werewolf as well. So no wonder the DPS is lower.
I also tried both, but if you're going to keep picking, sure, have fun. You're getting your way anyway, so why must you all keep kicking?
Berserker is downright impossible to sustain in real content as a only WW so yes, in real content, realistically, you're running pack master unless you have other WWs
I just think those complains are dishonest and incorrect when you do all you can to make WW DPS look unviable by using Velothi and Packmaster. Of course a roleplay build won't top the charts.
