I get stressed when a game player becomes an employee of power. My concern is that the game will go in the direction that suites that player and his guild / friends. Then there will be lots of guild and group content and nothing for those who run solo.
While I have concerns, this seems a bit of an overreaction. Let's let the man start his job before we start conspiracy theories.

We tried, but zos only sees one thing from the pts forums each cycle. Unfortunately the bloodmagic passive thread wasn't as popular. Not everything needs to be a proc effect. I don't know how many rounds of vengeance they are going to need to understand this before they preemptively start reducing the unnecessary calcs on the server.
The ONLY reason for max stat bonus is to work with shield builds (or that extra 0.1% more damage in pve) Last I checked, and I check a lot, dark magic still doesn't have ward on it. Honestly DAEDRIC mines should be swapped with Ward. Ward makes more sense to pair with the frags traditional magsorc playstyle. Mines makes more sense pairing with the zone of control pets playstyle to give yourself a peel mechanic.
I'd also put curse on dark magic and make encase work more towards pets. Like the root on enemies does a pet damage debuff. Then the heal version does a pet heal and buff.

Re: Solo play is Almost Impossible Anymore
Biggest obstacle to solo play is lack of action. Ignored on the back lines. No front line zerg to surf.
1vX is still doable, if you can actually find an X that isn't a ball group, sweaty smallscale, or faction zerg.

I want to see what this is about, but needle in the skin is a huge NOPE for me. Please use words to tell what I am missing.
A few years back Rich issued a challenge he thought would not be met, if it was met, he would get a Tattoo.
The ESO Community stepped up and not only met the challenge, but as I remember it, blasted past it.
Being a man of his word, Rich got the tattoo, and the video was made available and can still be found on YouTube.
As this is part of Rich's commitment to ESO, I can see no reason why a Rich Lambert Houseguest would not show off that tattoo.

Oh, ChatGPT can optimise, reorganise, create classes, all that good stuff. The code will just not run, so that is a bit of a problem. But it can make messy code look really nice.
It's a shame it can't make any usable code. The code would be absolutely useless, would not run and would make no sense. But it would look pretty.

Guild Wars 2 has amazing mounts - but the flying one (Skyscale) basically killed purpose of all other and killed map design.
I generally dislike flying mounts because it has no "drawbacks", like you can just "skip" all the design that was put into creation of the map and just fly over it. Ground mounts are enough fast and make you interact with the way the map was build. I rather have just ground mounts, flying mounts in most of the games are just gimmic.

The big thing with flying (or swimming over slaughterfish) is the zone design. This game is designed with partitioned zones and natural barriers, and that means the intention is that you shouldn’t be able to fly over it. Even the major cities since Greymoor are their own worldspace from the rest of the zone (which is why the quest markers point to the city gate until you get outside)
I know that one of the main reasons people want flying is to bypass terrain. But if they ever did give flying mounts, be prepared for a bunch of invisible walls, because the point is to not bypass the terrain.
Not to mention the potential issues in PvP of flying into keeps, or flying up to IC bases, or being able to cross terrain without being funnelled through bridges or milegates.

Flying mounts wouldn't be possible due to zones being seperate instances. It's not a conscious choice, it's a design limitation.
Bingo. ZoS would have done it if they could have.
