[Housing] Weapons as furnishings
Hi guys !
I'm pretty sure I've been this topic submitted several weeks ago but I might be mistaken or am unable to find it again, so, here it is.
I'm currently re-furnishing my Alpine Antiquarian House, I'm pretty sure it's not the actual name, in Western Skyrim, cause the first time, when I got it through an event, I didn't do anything interesting with it, and now I'm, among other things, setting a strategy room.
A NORD strategy room.
With a bar, stools, beverages and drinkware, and I think it would be interesting to have a table (check) with maps (check, I went with Craglorn) and some weapons disposed here and there. I mean, we're talking about Nords, these guys probably have a battleaxe next to their bed, just in case.
And really, it would be awesome, I think, if we had the possibility to have weapons as furnishings. Obviously not all weapons, it would represent a tremendous amount of assets to create, but I don't know, just the basic races styles ? Or even weapons on a plaque to set on a wall would be great, after all, we could do that in Skyrim. Pretty please ? *_*

Consider bringing bonuses to underpopulated factions to Cyrodiil.
Cyrodiil has forever been a "rich get richer, poor get poorer" environment where one side is rewarded by game design choices for snowballing. It also actively discourages under-populated sides from even attempting to play on the map. Such bonuses would be very useful in evening the odds and allowing outnumbered sides to effectively fight back.
Late-night players, especially, would likely appreciate it, as that is when population is lowest overall. It could also help to bring some life back to the currently dead campaigns. Campaigns that were killed-off by relentless population imbalances driving away the players on the other factions.

Furthermore, I don't see why anyone would think cross-play is some magic bullet that's going to solve the game's problems. If anything cross-play is likely to introduce more bugs and performance issues. In my opinion there are far more important things to work on such as Cyrodiil performance, finishing hybridization, and untangling years of neglected systems. With Subclassing and the consequences of that, I'm sure they have an overflowing plate of higher priorities to set straight. Heck, they should have finished hybridization and revamped Provisioning/alchemy like 5 years ago.
I dont wanna be this guy butAs Rich noted during Gamescom, crossplay is being worked on. There is a lot of work to go through because ESO was built way before crossplay was part of the industry. And there is 11yrs worth of content, systems and data to go through. The last thing we want is for systems to be heavily impacted by crossplay and have it an impact on your overall gameplay experience. So it's something we have to be extra careful about. Nothing else to report right now, but there is a team focused on crossplay.
I don't want to be the guy that keeps repeating himself, but...Kevin is forgetting that they said "we are seeing IF it can be done." That IF is the big thing being left out.
Now everyone actually is set on expecting it to be released guaranteed. There is more doubt crossplay won't actually happen. Stop getting your hopes up. Why does this thread even exist when this was repeated over and over again in the other crossplay thread, and then derailed into what it basically is now and then closed?

I'll jump back in and agree that moving the station seems to fix the issue. Rather than having it pushed as far back toward a wall as I could get while still getting the green placement aura, I pulled it a couple or three ticks away from anything else close by (walls and a crafted bookcase) and the problem went away. It's possible that the original problem got fixed and wasn't in earlier patch notes (it happens), but eliminating the possibilities which are under your control is a good first step.

I had this same thing happen with the Grand Master Clothier station in two different houses a couple weeks back. Definitely a bug.
PvP's getting shafted again.
Vengeance campaign, meant for testing high volumes of players in Cyrodiil, returns September 22nd-29th. Great!
The Undaunted Celebration, the most grindy, and one of the most popular, PvE events returns September 18th-30th.
So PvP, already struggling, is supposed to be getting one of its rare performance tests during the biggest, or at least one of the biggest, PvE events of the year. Can't wait for lower population numbers to be blamed on overall lack of interest, just like lower WM pop earlier this year (when WM is up there with Witches Festival for worthless rewards).
I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist but surely they can't be this clueless?

I agree that the problems you highlighted are problems but this is a dumb solution. Different groups have different strategies for doing things, what does "non combat status" even mean, running away to regroup and rebuild your resources instead of being bomb bait for you group is normal...

The console players are constantly complaining that the numbers of people on their servers make it hard to get a dungeon, and almost impossible to have fun in PVP. <snip>
Do not speak for PSNA when you say console players are constantly complaining about anything remotely close to population issues.

I haven't played since June but I like keeping up with the game and staying connected to the community. I'll be back to check out Vengeance on the 22nd, fingers crossed the Meatbags are enough for large scale.
