It is actually quite brilliant for the player market when common mats and consumable items are going for high rates at the trader:
1) It ensures frequent trader transactions, siphoning gold from the game, while keeping suppliers interested.
2) It keeps newer players financially competitive, if they are willing to do the grind.
3) It disincentivizes writ crafting, which is a gold source that strongly contributes to inflation.
4) It is only problematic if important or unique consumables become largely inaccessible (like roe spikes before the anniversary events), but at the point where people stop burning the mats for writs this process is usually halted. There are sadly some consumables that are not affordable for everyone, but the type of potion or food a build uses is a deliberate decision. If nothing would be valuable we wouldn't need gold anyway.

Perhaps they aren't acknowledging the problem because they don't know how to fix it. Typically they announce a problem to be addressed AFTER they have a clear idea of how to fix it.
It should cost half the Tempers/Resins to upgrade 1-handed Weapons and Shields
It costs 8 Tempering Alloy to upgrade a two-handed Blacksmithing weapon to Legendary rarity, while it costs 16 Tempering Alloy to upgrade two one-handed Blacksmithing weapons to Legendary rarity.
Why is it the case that our enchantments are halved on one-handed weapons and shields if they're twice as expensive as a two-handed weapon to fully upgrade?
I think one-handed items (shields and one-handed weapons) should cost half the amount of Tempers/Resins to upgrade. For instance, a single dagger would cost 4 Tempering Alloy to upgrade, and two daggers (for a Dual Wield setup) would cost 8 Tempering Alloy, the same as a Two-Handed greatsword setup. Further, you could make a One Hand and Shield setup with 4 Tempering Alloy and 4 Rosin, since each item only takes up one of your two weapon slots on that bar.

Here’s the thing. Daily rewards aren’t for us veterans. They’ve never been. They’re for newer people who are getting into the game for the first time. Yes, tri-pots are useful. But at this point, the guild stores are chock full of them and I don’t know a single long-time player who can’t craft them.
Also, think about the community response whenever some limited-time item gets thrown out there as a mundane reward. People get mad because they “earned it” and others won’t.

Re: Eso feels dull and formulaic
The Valkynaz are very strong so I don't know why they need or have an invulnerable phase. Is this some kind of game structure issue that I am not understanding? The mirror mosaics are very frustrating to me because it seems like every time I get my ultimate off, invulnerability. Now I try to wait until they have just done one to let fly but... I shouldn't have to.

So are we getting the free skill styles for each class back or what? I saw them in the datamine for update 47 and are wondering if we are getting them this year? The september crown store looks so disappointing.

Not even tri pots this month.
That is sad. Tri-pots are nicer than any of the pots 'on offer' this month.
