As someone who only does PvE trifectas, since the last update where Subclassing hit, I have only logged in a handful of times since because I don’t like what it did to the PvE meta. I understand not everyone has this opinion.
since 2024 gold road chapter, player is alway lost,because we have a 120+page about game lag/dc/broken post there ,and game still bad now
it why in log ,U46 in any run lost most player,there all is from game rank and log in any pc server
use popular vdsr example
3month have 25.5k toon(you can use othere toon) do vdsr in U45
U40 have 60k player run
U42gold road only 30k
U46 total remain 9k
I think the subclass was just a other mistack

No, PVPers need to participate in PVE to get sets, etc, it is only fair that we PVErs have to experience the other way around - it's about getting people to experience different parts of the game.

Class identity is paramount to me. I do not subclass at all. I thought I can ignore it after U46 and that is what I did. I am still able to play as I did before, but have to accept that in trials I am one of the lowest DPS, which has lead to some discriminating feedback. And In PvP, I am overwhelmed with the constant deep fissure merc combos. Feels like playing with a handicap really. Then some changes came with U47 for sorcs where the max resource uptime became harder. Have to try so hard to be mid now. The joy for what I am looking for in this game and had before is kind of gone.
Have tried subclassing for a few combos, levelled a bunch of them even, but in the end the pure class kit is still more fun both for RP and gameplay. I tried to go for more competitive builds but in the end the entire process and even the playstyle changes were no longer fun.
U46 has changed this game from core. I think some ppl don't understand the difference sometimes. I may not have purchased this game to begin with if subclassing was there from the get go. The onboarding and actual game is in contradiction now. I now play other games but still login here to play with friends. Overall a big thumbs down for me.

When you look at the long term - all that has really happened is that the game has reverted to pre-COVID levels of participation. For a game thats over 10yrs old - I think thats doing pretty well.
Re: Guild history turned off - perhaps this warrants an unplanned and urgent maintenance?

PvP community isn't big enough to be divided any more than it already is. They need to fix performance so the PvP crowd will migrate back to the game. Then they can start offering options.
I have a few former guild mates from PvP guild that check in every few months to see if PvP has improved. When it hasn't they again leave. They ask me in Discord if PvP is fixed. I'm guessing a lot of players are still hoping to come back if ZoS ever figures out the performance issues.

They are all pretty meh, but Bastians I hate because it likes to pull extra mobs or aggro things you didn't intend. Companions in general are pretty meh functionally besides roleplay.
Re: Crafting surveys
Same problem on console, but here, at least for me, it's worse. I completed the dailies on 40 characters and received a total of 3 surveys, all for jewelry crafting. All 40 of my characters have maxed out crafting professions with all traits researched. We on console waited 2 weeks for the latest update to have the same known bugs on PC....
