Also, lore-wise, they're not like a player, who's a vestige, when you feed on them, they die. It's not like a vampire, who can just drain a little blood.

I shared this idea in the survey, but I also wanted to bring it up here.
Has the development team ever considered running a Closed Beta Test (CBT) before launching the PTS for a new update? As we all know, by the time the PTS goes live, many of the changes are already finalized for the live release, which means there’s usually little room to make meaningful adjustments during the PTS cycle. Because of this, a lot of feedback from the PTS may end up being overlooked simply due to time constraints.
What if, before opening the PTS, there was a CBT with invited players—experienced and respected members of the ESO community—who could provide more objective feedback and suggestions on the new content? That way, the dev team would have more time to react and make adjustments before the PTS phase.
What do you think about this idea?
Hi everyone! We put together a short survey to help us better understand ESO Public Test Server (PTS) participation, and how we can improve the overall experience. This survey will be open until the end of September 25. We’d love to hear from you even if you’ve never participated in the ESO PTS. Thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts with us!

At some point we would like to see systems like food, enchants, mundus, food, sets, cp all brought in and toggle tested.
I don't know how you could even forget about this since the skills should have been made from scratch.
If they were aiming for backwards compatible, they wouldn't of made passives that give +physical penetration and -spell penetration. It would just be +offensive penetration.
I didn't take a big look at all the passives, but I remember seeing kiss/curses like this and it's just entirely questionable decision making for a "performance test" after confirming these duplicate calculations are potentially causing server lag for years.
I guess the spirit of this thing is to remind us that in spite of complaints making up the majority of the forum, that does not mean the majority of the playtime is spent feeling down about the various issues (although sometimes that will be the case). The reason we complain is that we care enough to wish for changes and improvements.
But with dungeon runs there's a new thread about fake roles regularly - mind you, fake roles can absolutely present a problem - and though it is a real issue sometimes, it still doesn't happen more than the good experiences in runs - so thanks for also taking initiative to talk about the truly awesome experiences.
I have so mamy of those in eso through meeting fantastic people. I am not always in a good place (mostly since my house burned down, and other disasters like a long illness and loved people suddenly dying). But those great experiences that often arise because of people, I share with really funny, genuine or nice people and they are extra important because they remind me of how good people actually can be, and how good I can be, and it just warms and gives much needed hope.
