When you haven't checked the forums for a couple hours and come back to see this thread has 55 new notifications....I guess I probably will just speed-finish the rest of the zone and go elsewhere to a different game since Zos' fomo event is a nightmare.
Trying again to play. Boss broken at 24%, a lot of people there trying to shoot at anything with balistas, but we're unable to go further. Really buggy and frustrating (as, ont top of this, not translated).
This game is going into the wrong direction lately.
--- Edit
Just tryed another instance, blocked at 64%.
It's not the heart of zos players are angry with it's the Microsoft business first model people are against. They want more money for less content and less quality. Im personally feeling the change since Microsoft took over and i feel the loss of all those people that were made redundant. It happened in world of war craft and it's happening to eso.
Game is slowly morphing into something it dont recognise. This is just my personal opinion.
Yes I feel awful for zos employees that are working under extreme pressure and timeliness. I just dont like big business attitudes towards their clients which are us the players and the lovely people working for them who are zos team. My heart goes out to our zis team.
The writhing fortress was a lot of fun and is really cool. Enemies to kill everywhere, the loot chests dropping the same loot as siege camps, the major bosses. Fights were a bit chaotic with all the siege stages, but still very fun!
I can see why this writhing fortress public dungeon is going to be removed and why it has such a tight time window to complete, as with too few players this would be a pain to complete after the event.
Takes a bit of time to figure out what is happening and what is going on, which is worth it!
PS: Ran the fortress three times. The first time was a bugged instance of the west boss(east boss was already down), but that did give me the time to see what is going on and how the instance works. The second and third runs were without issues and I got to see all the bosses(east on the first working run, west on the second working run).
PPS: For those who have issues with navigation, check the map, use the blue portals, and follow the roads! This will usually point you to where you need to go.
So, you have two options for obtaining chitin: go out and spend time farming the item(s), or pay for someone else's time and effort collecting them.
You really have no excuses to complain if you refuse to play the game (any game), and expect free stuff without doing anything to earn it. That is what we call entitlement.
You should not expect to be rewarded for doing nothing. Sure, it would be nice to get those mats as rare drops from alchemy bags, but you are still going to run into the same problem of not having enough.
The third option is if you don't want to farm or buy the mats, just don't do that writ.
Alot of this has already been discussed previously as most of you are aware, but I see this popping up in many, many threads where people want the rewards, but refuse to play the game to obtain them, then complain they don't have what they want, and demand they get everything handed to them on a silver spoon, and all I can say is, tough luck. It's a video game. If you don't want to play it, log off and go do something else.
