I'm am certain this would only be used for relationship or erotic purposes, so no, ESO doesn't need this and it would be unhealthy to give this type of content to players.

The lack of response from ZOS on this issue is a very bad sign.
It means that their plans are almost certainly to replace live Cyrodiil with vengeance even though they originally said it was a test with the information gathered to be used to improve live Cyrodiil.
Nobody likes to be lied to. We ordered a steak and ZOS' plan is to server balona for the same price. Very not good here.

Vengeance feels a lot like subclassing: someone has shuffled around the deck chairs and then claimed it is new content but we're still on the same Titanic post iceberg.
New features are great as long as they bring people to play the game and are popular. Subclassing is in my opinion one of those things.
More options is what the game is about and how it stands out among the competition.
Honestly it's personally hard for me to try to play other mmorpgs after playing ESO because of all of its options.

How about a "Joining Encounter in Progress" pull where it pulls the people who are ahead into the mob fight happening in the back?
This made me laugh, imagining speedrunners getting yo-yo'd back to the group everytime they try to "take off"

Report them for scamming, with full details. It might not amount to anything, but it certainly sounds like they're operating a scam of sorts.
Also, if they're actually making as much gold from it as they claim to be, then where is all the gold going? I mean, there are only so many things one can spend huge amounts of gold on in the game, so one has to wonder if they might be selling all of their ill-gotten gold for cash.

As someone who spends a LOT of time and effort on my builds I have a hard time understanding WHY someone would want an exact replica of someone ELSES house. Each is a personal interpretation of a theme/concept I'm "feeling" at the time. Why even have a house if it doesn't have your personal touch to it, much less pay a fortune for it? Boggles the mind.
Maybe they don't want an exact replica but they like a lot of what you've done so to make it faster they copy it, and then later tweak it to their preferences.

I know this is a different topic, but I just want to chime in and say I wish ZOS would recognize people’s creativity by using some of the wonderful houses people have built in the game when they create new areas, with the permission of the builder, of course, and some way of acknowledging where the designs came from in the building itself, like a plaque. The OP’s mead hall would be a great place to have in Winterhold, just sayin’ 😊

i think the cat's out of the bag and there's no going back.
that said, i hate the idea that we'll never get a new class, because with subclassing, that idea seems dead. so, if we had to do it all over again, i'd say no to subclassing and yes to a new class, but i just think it's too late

One likes to have decorations on hand when decorating. But I agree that everything doesn’t need to be on hand for every build and such furnishings, if they’re worth keeping and/or can’t be sold, can be stored less accessibly.
There are furnishings that it makes sense to buy when not being used — Zenil’s luxury furnishings, Crown or Crate furnishings, and other limited availability. Of course, one shouldn’t buy only because an item is limited — there simply isn’t space — and I sold several such furnishings recently that I couldn’t see myself using. Bound furnishings are more challenging.
All that to say, you do have a point in that I don’t think it’s realistic to hope that we will be provided unlimited storage capacity for furnishings. BUT the extra slots DO help, so long as one approaches them properly, or at least this is my experience. I continue to try to acquire furnishings judiciously and store away what doesn’t need to be on-hand (the add-on Inventory Insight is great for finding particular furnishings, items, armor sets, etc.!) Thus, I have used the furnishing vault to free up bank space at the same time as I have access to more furnishings while working on a build.
