Re: West Weald Treasure Map Leads are Bugged
For me the 'death knell' of this mechanic was the event that rolled the loot from treasure maps twice.
Even doubling the 'rolls' per map there was no improvement on the drop rate of leads and at the time the devs said that it was 'working as intended' (which is still to this day the official line).
When considering the system as a whole:
- Treasure maps do not stack and are 'unique' items; this results in a ludicrous amount of busywork regardless of the approach (trying to 'store' them using the mail system, alt accounts etc or 'unearthing' them as they come).
- Treasure map pool is beyond diluted now, and at least regarding zones that only have two treasure maps levelled lists seem to be weighed to favour S.Elsweyr/Galen.
- Antiquity furnishings are often multi-lead affairs.
- Lead drop rate (beyond the first 'set') is atrocious.
You get four layers of inconvenience/adverse odds stacked on top of each other (with the last layer taking the moldy, stale cake in that regard).
If this is 'working as intended' - as the devs insist on - I can only conclude that whomever this is intended for that player is not me and the only sane course of action - in my case - is to disengage.

The Impresario will offer the first two of five fragments for the new Wildgrown Chapel of Julianos house. Additional fragments will come in the last two events of the year.
The December event is always New Life, although I've never seen it skipped on the PTS. But what's happening in November?

New Life testing will be for this week in Week 2 of PTS. We just wanted to test the new event first to give more time for fixing and improvements on our timeline. But other events will be tested throughout the PTS cycle.
@ZOS_Kevin One recommendation for improvement on the event is maybe give us the hearts day themed furnishings in the event boxes (similar to how other events do the same now) would be great

It is not the community's fault that the games performance has dropped significantly and the hardware refresh they did only lasted months. Exploits aren't our fault either.Yes, of course meta doesn't matter at all.
Unless:
- You want to be wanted by any group that can actually clear harder content.
- You like to complete as many achievements as you can.
- You are any level of competitive and like to try reach big numbers.
- You like to learn about game mechanics and test builds to find what gives the best results.
- You like to feel efficient and powerful when playing.
- You want to feel like you are keeping up with and not holding back your friends/groups who run meta setups.
- You like the challenge of clearing the most difficult content.
Sure, there is always going to be a meta. The problem is when the gap gets so big.
I am so tired of PvE damage dealer being Herald of the Tomb + whatever currently supports it best. If the devs are honestly happy with this state, I'm glad I've stopped supporting via ESO+.
Any Build has been able to clear content and achievements long before subclassing, and still can after. Its not the Devs responsibility to make Trial groups accept you. I've played plenty of Trials on some subpar setups before.
Many problems we blame on the game or the Devs are problems of our own making.

The fact that the entirety of class balance was basically a non-issue at the dev office overnight by way of subclassing but tweaking potions/food would "break the game" (by words of combat lead) has not escaped my mind as of yet. Buff weapon skills, nerf class skills into the ground. Subclassing denies the existence of classes. Remove class set restrictions. Remove "primary class" restrictions. Go full sandbox. Its just not fun anymore.

I think that Rich has an inherently PvE perspective, and primarily with a single-player background, which we have seen in both his business decisions and community comments over and over through the years. As long as that is his focus, he doesn’t need to care about balance, he only needs to care about what looks and feels cool for non-competitive content.

Ya I recently dropped my ESO sub and have been playing GW2 for a few months now. Things in ESO were stale for me but I'd been playing for about 5 years so that's not really surprising.
Seeing the corporates starting to get their hooks into the franchise was the last last straw for me. I expect the enfecalization of the product will begin soon and it'll just get more annoying. I don't see ESO going under anytime soon, it'll take a long while, but I'm not holding out much hope for it getting significantly better. Time will tell.

I don't know where are this doom and gloom posting comes from in the recent weeks.
I find random dungeons, group finder trials, battlegrounds within 3-5 minutes. And when I put stuff up for sale I am usually annoyed that everything has sold withing 24 hours and I have to put up new stuff or my guild master is mad. XD
And when in public dungeons or delves I am usually 'oh no all the bosses are dead already' and have to wait. So the game is absolutely not dead.
I also expect a huge influx of players for the wall event and the next Vengeance test. Especially now that the summer season is over on the server that I play.
That's PC EU. Maybe on PC US everything is super dead, no idea... But you don't need 100 000 concurrent steam players to have fun in ESO.

I don't like the hat on duelist of hearts not allowing hair to be shown. This makes the hat (which is otherwise really cool) unusable for me. Additionally I not like when outfits have undyable parts that are stuck a certain colour like the RED roses and pinkish laces. I do like that the outfit style does NOT have front or back or hip flaps. The overall style is great but has some major design flaws as mentioned.
