Today i have encountered many loading screens that don't stop loading.

I'm having the same issue there was no such issue before this last patch EU server, loadings are infinite I need to restart the client eery 10 min or so when traveling from zone to zone

I am another one who encountered an endless load screen today (Stormhaven - Pariah Catacombs if I recall correctly). First one I've had since launch.

Hi, exiting Harborage to Glenumbra stuck on loading screen, first time this has happened to me since launch.

Are you in a particular zone or dungeon when the error is happening? Stormhaven - Pariah Catacombs if I recall correctly ... but it appears others are having issues with the Harborage, too.

I got the loading screen after i left through a portal from cold harbor to the harborage. First the portal was bugged as well but relogging fixed that.

Does completely restarting the game help? - Alt - F4 is used very often. Not sure if it is good for the game loading or anything but it has been my boon throughout all of this experiance.

As far as this latest patch is concerned, it is worse than before. Before this patch it existed but not as bad as it is now. Seems as tho things are getting worse.

*This happens only after I am past the character select, when zoning from one place to another, only from dungeons/quest lairs so far.
*Seems random when leaving any area that requires a door open/zone
*This is all that helps. I close ESO log back into the zone I was originally trying to leave, and have made it through every time after a restart so far.

I cannot login on any of my 3 characters. Results in either a timeout or "unexpected error".

Can you get past the character select screen?

Yes i can select my character, but after that my game always fails to load.

Are you in a particular zone or dungeon when the error is happening?

2 of my characters are currently in Glenumbra (1 normal, 1 veteran-zone) the other in Betnikh.

Does completely restarting the game help?

No, I've tried restarting several times, also restarted my PC a few times.

After 3 attempts it helped last time and I finally got out, this time restarted once and got in.

I'm generally leaving a dungeon. No particular dungeon. Probably around 20% of the dungeons I've visited.

•Does completely restarting the game help?

Yes. The only way out is to Alt-F4, and once I log in I've always been able to leave the area I was trying to leave.

If it helps, my wife also had the issue. We were grouped, and it said she had gone offline (in my game) after she was on the load screen for 30 seconds or so. It didn't tell her that she was kicked out however, she just continued to get the load screen on her computer. So it seems that people are getting kicked from the game somehow while loading an area.

Hi, I have encountered the same problem today consistently not in Cyrodil (where I had it before intermittently).

A. N.A. I only play one character.

A. Yes.

A. This was my sequence:

1) Harborage > Auridon FAILED
2) alt+F4
Tried the above sequence two or three times with no joy.
3) From Harborage, loaded a guest Cyrodil campaign from the pvp menu.
4) Harborage > Cyrodil SUCCESS.
5) Cyrodil > Auridon FAILED.
6) alt+F4
7) Cyrodil > Auridon to a different wayshrine (College) SUCCESS.

I'm having this too. Had it about twice in my playtime before the new patch. After the patch it's become very common and I've lost count of how many times I've had to close the game and restart.

I never had any issues before patch, I was first getting the infinite load screens now my game just errors out or windows stops responding with me just trying to load into the game. I can get to the chracter select with ease but as soon as I select my character my loading emblem spins once then freezes...

Pretty sure it was after the patch before last that I started getting the infinite loading screens but only once in a while. Since the last patch, I am getting loads more. Loading out of dungeons, going from zone to zone, and also when logging out, have all resulted in infinite loading screens.

Since last patch I've also had a couple of occurrences of the error message 'your transfer request failed'. This happened when trying to leave cyrodil via the wayshrine and when trying to enter a dungeon in marabal tor. On both occasions a loading screen appears for a second, but then you simply fail to travel and you load where you're standing. The error message shows in the top right of the screen.

I've ran into this bug a couple of times before, but since yesterday's patch I've had it happen a fair few times.

Not any specific zone or dungeon: it seems to happens whenever I'm loading a new instanced area. I had that happen to me in both Auridon and Grahtwood, and two times with the Harborage (one time trying to enter it, the other trying to exit it)
Does completely restarting the game help?
Restarting the game completely (after using Alt-F4) puts me back to where I was before encountering the loading screen and seems to work, allowing me to continue

I am getting these infinite loading screens everytime i try to zone in to quest instances in Alik'r Desert. (and back from the instance). Before i have only experienced these loading screens sometimes in Cyrodiil not in PVE zones..

Harborage and especialy Rift is 90% chance to end nowhere

This game really moving to unplayable state.
At least half of playing time wasting with reloading and restarting client.

I'm getting the same problem in Auridon with loading screens. Also sometimes when entering or exiting a dungeon the doors animate and the loading screen only appear for split second before I find I'm still where I was. I try several times including logging and /reloadui. Other times I get what the OP gets with never ending loading screens. Eventually in both cases I come out of the game and relaunch for it to work, even sometimes a hard quit via task manager. This all started after the recent patch.

This is the exact same for me. 3 times its happened was tryimg to enter the harborage, leaving one of the public dungeons in stormhaven and trying to enter to enter a quest dungeon but i forget the name. The one in rivenspire where the guy is turned into a goblin. Emerald chalice quest. In all the situations closing the game completley and restarting and re logging helped. Never happened before latest patch for me

For the sake of curiosity. How many of you that are experiencing prolonged loading screens while logging in are logging out inside of banks? I know I frequently do, and my load times are pretty long initially, probably due to the amount of player models in there. Maybe of banks were instanced? Another thread I guess. Outside of initial logins I haven't noticed a huge difference.

It happens to me the most when I try to travel somewhere, although I've also seen it when trying to zone into somewhere like a solo dungeon etc.

The cruellest one was today, having got a bit demoralised with a main quest bug that prevents me going to veteran 6 content (Retaking the Pass), I thought I'd go and check if it had been addressed yet. I went to travel there, using the wayshrine to travel, and have been met with 3 infinite loading screens forcing me to ctrl-alt-delete and try again. Even more demoralised now ..

It doesn't matter what character I play .. this happens way too often, as do broken quests tbh.

All I can say to the first question is that I have 3 characters and I have been playing only one of those for the past few days.

I do make it past the character selection screen however.
when you get back in the game you are at the point where you were about to enter the other zone.Not in the zone you wanted to get to.

It does appear to happen alot in zone transition.
A few examples I can give:
It once happened to me yesterday at the story point Vaermina's shrine where she pushes you back and a mirror opens to go back to stormhaven
That got me the infinite loading screen.
Also during Emerics story point where you have to enter the castle I had to force shut down and restart several times
Then I added eso to the list of exceptions for the firewall and at first this has seemed to help

But just now I got it again in transition from dungeon zone to rivenspire.
That too resulted in the infinite loading screen.

So yea completely restarting can help but it is no guarantee,had to do it several times during king Emerics story part

I didn't have this problem before the patch and now it happens from time to time. I just shut the game and reload it.

no it happened randomly. Most of the time when I leave an instanced cavern/dungeon

yes, never had a problem and then I was where I was supposed to be after the loading screen. And not before. So I suppose It's a client side problem: the new area assets are loaded but for some reason the game doesn't't get the info and doesn't quit the loading screen

I got this problem since the last patch.

No issues with loading after character select screen as it sends me back to the zone I was in before initating the move.

Unfortunately, this seems to happen to me on most Wayshrine or Portal usage.

Yes, but once I'm in and try moving again... it's a bit of a gamble whether it will load or not.
