Xbox one here. I freeze every 10-15 seconds near the emp circle and then 20-30 seconds way outside. It’s betond a joke, it’s actuslly unplayable at the moment.

I’m actually going to cancel eso+ on console. The game deserves 0 money until things are fixed. The lag was NEVER this bad. I absolutely refuse to pay money towards a game especially when they make it worse to even play the single player part. Really hope other follow suit because less income means Zos might actually do something about it.

PS4 EU.

My PS4 is so full of video captures of this unplayable freezing i have had to delete them as I've run out of space.

Also, am I alone on this or do AD and DC on PS4 EU seem so overpowered in Vivec? I don't mean because they currently have the map and all the bonuses.
Its like the EP has an axe, and the AD and DC have nuclear weapons. All their players are from all global locations and 99% of them cant possibly know each other so it can't be a secret society of knowledge.

I've seen these players in outposts just running around and teasing EP and most seem unkillable.
We all have the same slots and skills and surely if your build is DPS you cant have max of everything else like sustain and resistance, something has to give for balance. But they seem to have everything, therefore I think its a coding imbalance that unfortunately has made EP very weak?
Its just when you interact one to one with some of them whether they are level 15 or CP900+ they just obliterate you unless you are a EP god player which I am not.

My basic stats are pretty good i think but perhaps I am wrong?
DPS 4100, resistance Spell 22,000 & Phy 25,000, Crit 2127. Health 25k, Mag 30k, stam 15.5k

I have been one shotted with two stacked shields by AD and DC and bow players with poison abilities are through the roof!
I can go up to any of them with a loaded buffed heavy attack with their guard down and no shield and my first hit on them doesn't even move their health bar they then just look at me and I'm dead, then the death recap just shows it was all one player that seemed to use five different skills in less than a second.
Allowing for the lag at normal times between pressing buttons how can they just pump everything out at the same time?
Opionions on this and any advice or knowledge appreciated.

I haven’t played on the EU server, but if EP is anything like it is on NA Vivec, then your alliance’s primary problem is lack of organization/numbers.

Not my vids, but here you go. I can't say if these were done after Wednesday's update or not. Maybe PM the poster to find out, but this is what PS4 NA was like after Summerset...

Hi @ZOS_JessicaFolsom, I’m going to PVP in Cyrodiil later and see if I can grab some clips while there.

As you can see in the first few seconds, I’m getting major FPS drops upon leaving the wayshrine. This happens frequently, irrespective of zones and the number of players in my immediate vicinity. It doesn’t happen every time, but it happens a lot. Other people have noticed it too. I’m going to go back through more clips pre-patch and put them into a compilation later.

Everywhere in cryrodiil and ps4 na server I can't believe they are asking this the majority of problems are occurring in cryrodiil anytime I get into a battle I automatically freeze and have to restart the game

This is from a PS4 NA player on EP (MWsRAGE_5 is the poster's PSN gamertag I believe) in Vivec. It's pretty typical of what players experience. #1 shows major FPS drop, then it recovers. Video #2 shows unrecoverable perma-freeze (force-close is only way to recover). These incidents happen out of the blue (no advanced warning) and usually in areas of heavy combat or a where there is a sudden influx of players.

With all due respect, why can't some of the dev team and other ZOS staff who have consoles just play the game from home like normal people and experience this for themselves?

It's frustrating because they are asking for more information as if not enough hasn't been provided already or they could find it out for themselves if they was to play on console they would know what we are talking about like I feel at this point by them asking us for more information is just them trying to mock us and they don't really care

Oh i doubt they can even fix the crashes. As other said, it's honestly a bit insulting they have to ask for this from us. Do none of their employees play on console? Do they play on console and aren't having issues? If so how about telling us their entire set up and what they are doing to reduce the crashes?

I have the feeling that none of them actually play on Xbox. All you have to do is walk around Vivec City for like 5-10 minutes to replicate the buzzing crash. It's so easy.

Here's a better suggestion... you and the devs jump on Xbox NA around 9pm est and go into Cyrodiil. You will experience first hand what is going on.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom Til this gets fixed, can you just give us the option to delete the Summerset update? It was really bad before Summerset but now it is just godawful, almost unplayable.

I was in software/hardware new product development for 25 years and I can tell you things that work in the test environment often fail in the field environment. I just find it strange that the many ZOS employees that must play the game haven't reported the issues.

Agreed 100% , this is not a situational bug that’s happening some of the time to a few people... this is occurring to the majority, most of the time...
Entire groups freeze
Solo players freeze
Middle of large battle
Middle of nowhere
PvP server
PvE zones

Honestly though, I would find it highly probable that most of the staff spend their personal time playing on PCs. This coming from a console pleb who would like nothing more than to play a game without needing to avoid major hubs of activity such as Vivec City and Grahtwood for fear of the random, yet regular, dashboard crashes.

Funny that you say that, Elden Root and Vivec city are like the WORST areas for crashes. Im almost guaranteed to crash my first time of the day going there on a character. Orsinium City in Wrothgar is like that for me too along with Abahs Landing in Hews bane.

So, I think I may have figured out the wayshrine-related FPS stuttering thing. Video forthcoming, once I’ve had a chance to edit it.

The problem is almost 100% replicable on all of my characters.

Yesterday in Cyrodiil while riding into a large battle I froze, so I had to hard reset. Signing back in I immediately crashed as soon as my character loaded in. It was a great time! Clearly after years of doing nothing there will be no fix on anything server or performance related, (you wont admit it but that is fine). That being the case can we please incentivize people to spread out in the Cyrodiil?

Oh god please don't share a video unless it's of the main problem with freezing if you show them something that's not the freezing that's occurring they are going to think that's what the problem is and fix the wrong thing yet again the major problem people are aggravated about is the freezing that's happening when in cryrodiil mostly if we mention other things they won't fix the major stuff keep all things on the topic of the freezing happening
