The mount is a gift for anyone that already owns Morrowind. I didn't buy it at release thinking "I know ZOS will give me a free mount in November."
The only condition is that I have to login. I think I can live with that. As already noted they could have only offered to new purchases. Fortunately they didn't.
And if it encourages some to buy Morrowind good for ZOS. I doubt anyone will buy just for the mount but it might push some to buy it if they were on the fence about buying it.5 -
