Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 6

Why is insight usually the lowest value on our profiles? Is it hard to come by?

My first insightful comment is don't watch the video...

My Second insightful comment is don't state your opinion unless you don't mind folks disagreeing with you and calling you a fool...

My last insightful comment is taking offence to something someone else says is giving them the power to incite you...

Also, make sure you have some cash, as you also have to pay to get unstuck, because it's your fault you got stuck inside a bench while jumping over it in the first place!

/stuck will now actually cost you the same amount of money as if you were to port to a wayshrine. Doesn't kill ya anymore :D

I'm not sure which is actually worse lol

Haha, in my case it's better to pay the wayshrine fee. The one time I had to use it, it was only 124 gold. Didn't fix the issue I ran into.. but did teleport me elsewhere. I ended up having to contact CS to get the issue resolved >> Luckily.. I am apparently lucky and they had it fixed within 20 minutes (I contacted them at midnight, so was going to bed anyway.. woke up to the e-mail saying it was fixed and all that).

You can escape combat by getting into the water deep enough to where you're swimming in it. Some of the projectiles will still hit for a second or two sometimes, but most times the deeper water is a safety zone. Don't go out too far though, the slaughterfish will kill ya.

The most important information anyone can ever have to improve their gameplay experience - without exception, for any type of player (PvP, PvE, RP, Potato):

Go to your /Documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live/UserSettings.txt
In that file, scroll down til you see the line: SET SkipPregameVideos "0"
Change the 0 to a 1, then hit Save
You will never have to worry about those game startup screens slowing your login down again.

I tried this....and it didn't work. I'm taking my insightfulls back. I'm taking them all back.

    K last one for tonight.

    Hmm....

Don't overplay the game. In other words, don't force yourself to play more than you're having fun. If you do this habitually you will eventually burn out and not want to play the game. It is better to pace yourself and play more than one game.

Am I too late for the badge farm? ;) If you have an Explorer’s Pack or the Imperial Edition, don’t delete the first character you create if you check your mail! If you already opened mail on that character, you need to store the items (vanity pets, Pledge of Mara, etc.) in your bank before deleting the character. I have a friend who rage quit, because he deleted all his stuff. Customer support wouldn't even respond to him, and this was during eary access.

On page 4 of the thread about why insight is hard to come by, insight has become hard to come by. :disappointed:

If you ever decide to mass refine raw materials, you should save them in your bank until you unlock rank 3 extraction perk for the associated craft skill. At rank 3, you can obtain many blues, purples, and even golds from refining even iron ore and jute, etc.

Ok... Don't ever think of investing into alchemy, enchanting and/or provisioning all on the same character. You will always run out of bank and bag space. Always.

Heh, those are the three exact skills I am pursuing, and you're right - bank space screams 'ahhhhhhhhrrrghhhh', and my alts get kinda grump when they are asked to store food, runes, and herbs in their packs. lol.

Buy the bag space upgrade for your horse from early on (if you don't plan to swap horses a lot) - it racks up pretty quickly to give you extra carrying capacity.

Even if you don't wear pants in the game, make sure you do while you play. Barring that, make sure you have a towel to sit on; skid-marks are an unwelcome surprise after an extended gaming session.

That's one way of looking at it. Another way of looking at it is it's a way to encourage the spreading of helpful information. It's not like these insights give me anything. Points are fun I guess. Makes the boards more interesting.

Btw, I thought your post was insightful. I marked it so. lol.

If you actually read the thread there are really good tips on here.

Another one: some abilities secondary damage overtime is affected by maximum health not magicka or stamina. To test this just grab some white health/other food and you can flip them back and forth testing. Destro staff has a secondary burn on one of it's abilities that seems to be linked to health.
