Why is insight usually the lowest value on our profiles? Is it hard to come by?

GrimCyclone✭✭✭✭✭Another piece of insight would be to make only the best gold per unit items for vending to use up your materials. Blacksmithing? Two-hand weapons. Woodworking? Anything but shields. Clothing? Pants.4 -
Pyatra✭✭✭You can vastly improve your dps by slapping a Light Attack in between two Activated Abilities. So LA-AA-LA-AA gets you around 20% more DPS than spamming AA (Activated Ability).
Staff is affected by Weapon Damage and Spell Crit. Weird right?
Multi-hit non-channeled abilities proc Evil Hunter multiple times, AoEs work with it, and that morph returns 50% of Stamina used over it's duration, making Evil Hunter from the Fighters Guild an excellent ability that not everyone considers. Check it out.

Go to Cyrodiil as soon as you hit lv 10. Even if you're not planning on doing PvP for a while, you still get scroll bonuses from your home battleground.
Don't forget all the skyshards you can collect right away, to help boost crafting, armor passives and weapon passives for greater low lvl character customization!!!3 -

Dayv✭✭✭✭Mail items to a friend with rts in the subject and they can return to sender. They stop taking up inventory space and your alts can get at them without having to go through the bank.3

NakedSnake✭✭✭Animation cancelling is the best way to add extra dps to your skill rotation. Double clicking attack will guarantee your light attack is successful so you should train your self to double click before every skill is activated for a free light attack prior.
Higher level items give more inspiration when deconstructed/crafted. Send that useless VR trash gear you your crafter alts for a fast boost.
Mage light can proc crystal shards without using much magicka so spam before each engagement.

✭Insight, most people come here to complain about something and its not very offen they get an Insightful reply, just trolls feeding trolls and people complaining about the devs. (I do it also)
I just want balance, but that is almost impossible, but I still come here to see if the dev's listen. I like the point system on these boards. I also like that there are no downvoting options. Sure some people want it, but negativity alone isn't progressive. I'd rather let the upvotes and popularity of a topic speak for itself.
I think more things like this need to be injected in to all aspects of society. So many people are dormant and unaffiliated, but would be willing to leave this level of feedback. If anything it's a way to initiate some kind of action in people. Being lulled into a worker bee tax payer that mostly doesn't vote isn't the kind of country that we created. And I don't think it's the kinda of world we want either.
Anywho.. hmm something else insightful:
Follow the coasts for loot as well as the walls. Due to wanting to "fill things in" the developers use these landmarks specifically when thinking of "missed" or "empty areas" because they have obvious structure. inner or object-adjacent filling seems less liberal. It's a psychological thing.
Oddly enough in a two-dimensional plane where we simply put dots to fill in say... a circle, this isn't the case.3 -
Sidney✭✭✭✭So basically a helpful tips thread? That would be nice. It should go in the new player help section IMO. I would probably say don't run by trunks that look empty. Some are broken and are actually full despite being open. I've found a lot of goodies from ones that appear empty. Check them anyway!

Relogging and Zone to new places can instant Pop your Mail. This way you don't have to wait for it to arrive normally.

Always use Infused trait on large pieces of armor (chest, head, pants, shield) and Devines on small pieces (gloves, shoulders, feet, belt). This far more beneficial than any other combo.
Loot everything inside dungeons.
Keep an eye out for Pepper, Oats and Apples; the three rarest provisions in the whole game.

GrimCyclone✭✭✭✭✭Anyone have any tips for training once you're say VR8? Only thing I know is to go to the public dungeon in Cold Harbour and kill kill kill. Also when you turn in quests you can equip the abilities/armor/weapon that you are trying to skill up.2

Great armor tip - just as I was about to craft some. My crafting tip comes from the real world
Measure twice, cut once. Or in ESO terms, make sure you've set the level correct and added the trait.
