So which one is it? You want the reps fired or not?

Need more firings. But higher up.
They will come. just look at TSW, kept laying peeps off all the while saying everything was AOK, all the while delaying content and missing deadlines. Hell they even said theyd never go f2p right up until they did.

A whole bunch of customer support issues are resolving themselves over the next 24-48 hours, which should alleviate some of the need for extra CS personnel.
Are people in this thread just ignoring the fact that TEMPORARYS were let go. When ZoS starts laying off SALARIED employess you can start doomsaying.
But it said that they were let go before the contract was up. So, they didnt keep their side of the contract. Sounds a bit to hard to be true cuz dont they have the right to sue them for breaking the contract?

ALL have TRAINING of some sort. It's factored in.
It's a great way for the company to save money (they're contractors - no benefits) and the contractors usually get a "Contractor Loading" factored into their wages (usually 25% above the going rate).
That's the Corporate world, peeps.
I've rolled my eyes so many times when I see someone say "F2P! Lolz!" at any news.
"Server maintenance? F2P! Lolz!"
"Bugs! F2P! Lolz!"
"Bots! F2P! Lolz!"
ffs grow up and get a clue.

It's hilarious how negative the forums are, people are just looking for a reason to claim this game is dying as if they WANT it to go F2P or want it to fail.
We really don't think that'll happen, but nobody has Zenimax' numbers except for Zenimax, so anything else is just useless speculation. You can't really say that this game will be F2P before the end of this year, you have no evidence. And unfortunately for those claiming it, providing the evidence usually rests on those making outlandish claims.
Our evidence that it will not go F2P is Zenimax' stance on the matter. As of the moment, that's the most concrete evidence that anyone has and it says that no; the game will not go F2P.
Its a Hib newspaper btw.

Don't be gullible. This might just be an elaborate plan done months or years on beforehand. BioWare knew full well their game wasn't going to stay alive with a sub and had f2p planned on beforehand.

It's also possible that these people were just terrible at their jobs and were let go for performance reasons. There could also have been suspicions of one of the contractors leaking confidential information. There are any number of reasons to let a contractor go unexpectedly. The primary reason companies hire contractors like this is so they can let any number of them go at any time without any real reason needed.
All we really know for certain is that these people were temporary contractors and they were released from their contracts unexpectedly. Anything beyond that without a press/news release to explain more detail is just conjecture. While it can be fun to postulate, it's not really constructive.

200 people terrible at their jobs were fired? If 200 people are not meeting expectations, your training staff need firing. And where are the ads for their replacement?
I get people ought not to be making skyfall assumptions all the time, but bloody hell, the anti skyfallers need to get a grip on reality too.

You're so very unfair Jessica .. the OP and many others much prefer their conspiracy fantasies than the reality of FACTS.ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »Other than some temporary contractors coming off and on at various stages, we have had no change in our staffing and are still hiring.
