Starting line is at first log on to find German speaking NPC's spaming the zone with audio chat. Stack all other bugs behind this first one please. Not begin about to have a full use guild for just our friends and family. ZOS trying to copy SONY/CCP with a multi-platform mmo restricting the action bar to 5 slots. Not begin able to group with my wife and run all quests/instances. Non-stop nerfs and ninja changes to the game.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭1. The massive imbalance between the effectiveness and viability of magicka-focused character builds and stamina-focused character builds. You cannot create two different resources that receive the same bonus from enchantments/attribute points and then give one of them more costly abilities that deal less damage, and you definitely shouldnt have given the same resource pool a bunch of game-critical abilities (dodging, blocking, interrupting, cc breaking, sprinting, and sneaking).
I just dont get how ZOS can possibly justify stamina being balanced with magicka right now, and they seem to be perfectly content ignoring the issue completely.
2. The vast statistical differences between players in cyrodiil. ZOS claims that the scaling system puts everyone on equal footing, but right now even a vet 2 character has quite a bit more power than a level 50 (vet 1) character, and anyone in the 1-40 range is absolute cannon fodder. The stat scaling system does not take into account anything about a lower level player's attribute allocations or build, so you're automatically stuck with ghost attributes that do not fit the way you play your character. You literally get the same stats whether you're wearing heavy armor or you're naked.
The difference between vet rank stats also compounds the issue. A vet 12 (who probably got there by exploiting and abusing game mechanics in the first place) is literally a demigod on the battlefield, moreso if they're a current or past emperor. I've seen one vet 12 player, and not even a particularly good one at that, demolish dozens of lower level players in cyrodiil by himself without even looking like he was having to put effort into it.
3. The players. This is something all MMO's have in common though, I love multiplayer games and the ability to group up with friends to compete against others, but I absolutely hate the type of playerbase that this kind of game draws. It's not quite as bad as your typical FPS game, but the MMO crowd is overflowing with whiny, self-entitled, instant-gratification losers that will cry nerf against anything that they cannot plow through, and then turn around and rub it in your face when they manage to kill you, or take that loot that you really need and they just want for the prestige, or do 0.01% more DPS than you, or get one more kill or one less death than you on a scoreboard that will seconds later be lost in bowels of the internet.
These games would be so much better if the players were a little more mature.PS4 / NA

Alazarz✭✭✭I'd have to say the lack of fundamental MMO (official) features. Such as a buff / de-buff window. Also, detailed tooltips on buffs that show in the character menu. IE; 'Molten Armaments'. Okay so I've a temporary buff on me called 'Molten Armaments'... but no detailed tooltip displaying what the buff actually does. For this particular buff, it should present a tooltip like so; Increases allies weapon damage by X amount and the casters by 100%
Also the ability / spell lag can be annoying at times. I'll interrupt a mob and it wont show the animation, but the mob will be stunned in any case.Edited by Alazarz on June 10, 2014 10:46PM0 -

Love the game, absolutely well done. Two things I would love to see: auto-stacking and ability to click on another player and brings up options, the most important si sending them a private message, like thank them for their help.0

Moiskormoimi✭✭✭✭There's so many things but it wasn't just one thing or another that brought me to the breaking point. It was the sum of all of them. If I had to choose, I guess it would be that I have never played any other mmo where the higher I leveled up, the weaker I felt. That in itself breaks my immersion and makes everything else seem so linear.1

^^^ Now that makes 0 sense. Never heard of a game that the higher you go the ~easier~ it got, that would eliminate the challenge at some point, and what would be the point of playing then?1

Head.hunter✭✭✭When it comes down to it I'm pleased with basically everything that has been achieved with ESO, except for the system performance in cyrodiil (even if it's a million times better than it was). He didnt say other mmo's felt easier as you levelled up, he said that in other mmo's you feel more -powerful- as you level up.
There's a difference.
Content can get harder, but the way in which it gets harder makes a big impact. When you go from being able to slaughter a group of bandits one level to being slaughtered by them the next, something is wrong. The proper way to go about increasing the difficulty is to make the enemies seem more 'epic', and to give the player increasingly 'cooler' abilities to fight them with.
So in a normal mmo, you'd go from slaughtering bandits one level to having a slightly more difficult time killing necromancers the next, and then it'd go from necromancers to elementals or something, and then from elementals to dragons, and then from dragons to demigods.
As this progression is happening, the player will go from using, say, a firebolt spell to using a fireball, and then to a bigger fireball, and then he'll be throwing molten boulders at his enemies, and eventually he'll be calling down meteors from the sky, all with the same spell. That's a progression of power that makes the player feel more powerful, even if the effect is that he's continuing into more difficult content.
Instead, we use the same firebolt every level, and we're fighting the same enemies, they just get ridiculously more difficult. There's no feeling of progression, only the feeling of hitting a brick wall.PS4 / NA

Shanna✭✭✭I've been trying to be open minded about Zen not going the auction house route (while simultaneously refusing to join a guild - or 5 - for the purpose of buying from, or selling to, a limited number of people)...but I've just realized that not having the ability to sell my goods as a SOLO player is yet another turn off for me. So, I can add that aspect to the no housing, the limited customization, and the monotonous questing in V levels list to explain why I can't seem to bring myself to log on for anything other than resetting timers at this point.This is all part of the game.0

- I like the idea to be in a different faction, but not to play all same quests again, really I'm Veteran player and I need to help to catch rats in the town?
- I would to feel LIKE a Veteran, I would like a UNIQUE Veteran Skill line for EACH classes, UNIQUE, to make the difference about what is a Veteran Player;
- I don't like to feel like VR6 almost like VR12, well so why I need to level up? all hard content, difficult, low Vet XP for nothing? just to use "level VR12 gears and weapons?);
- And go on ....
I guess ZoS need to start to pay attention, I try to play in the Veteran Zones, and it's getting low and low, hard to find people, groups, helps or anything else.
But I guess ZoS its not listen to all, I real like the game, but I can't keep going since the game needs "urgent" fixes.

tlainya_ESO✭✭1. Group/phasing issues-It's very difficult to keep in synch or get in synch with a friend and having to travel to group member can get really annoying. It's also a little frustrating not being able to go back and help friends with certain quests due to the phase issues.
2. Bugs with keys not responding, can be fatal anytime but especially in VR areas. Having to repeatedly reloadui or relog just to loot isn't fun. Erratic and random delays on weapon swaps, quickslot use and skills is a problem.
And 2 minor issues... reduced loot radius, my bosmer is my provisioner and having to jump around like a 5 year old on a sugar rush just to loot stuff to cook is a pain. Last and least... vanity pet collision, seriously why do the monkey pets have collision?0 -
Haxer✭✭✭I would tell them the good = lore, world, graphics, quests, voiced dialogue, controls, combat.
I would tell them the bad = phasing/grouping, PvP pop balance, VR, and lack of ability to interact with community (phases, no guild hall/player housing). The latter have caused me to end sub today
and I am sad.
