Am I the only one in this game having fun?
Sure, the game is fun, and forums will typically have more negative voices than positive ones, but right now the criticism on the forums is largely warranted.
Yeah and everyone on the forums thinks they could develop better, know more than professionals and almost exclusively agree the all could pilot a stalled 747 safely to the ground if needed.
There is a difference between constructive and destructive criticism. A lot of what you see on this forum is far over on the destructive end. Honestly, at this point the forum needs some serious moderating and it needs to have the destructive voices banned. Unmoderated online forums always get toxic

Nah, I cancelled. Wasn't having enough fun.
I'm a casual. I play 5 different characters across 2 factions, all between 20 and 27. PvP was becoming less fun as people overleveled me more and more, and I was getting gibbed faster and faster (not to mention that Cyro seemed to lag and splutter more and more). (I got one shot by a max vet which was unfun.)
But this would be okay if the xp rolled in fast enough that I could eventually make up ground. No can do. The xp was substantially less than running solo quests (by solo I mean content tuned to single player), or just plain mob grinding (which I cannot do without hating a game).
But it's an MMO so there's always running dungeons (so much fun in this game) to advance your characters (especially if like me you like to play tanks and heals). No can do. Not in ESO. After 1 run you get essentially ZIP xp for completing dungeons.
Which left solo questing. And more solo questing. And did I mention solo questing?
Thus ESO character progression for me turned out to be: solo quest to level 12. Then do 3 really fun dungeons that would get me 2/3 a bar of xp. Then solo quest to 20 to do another 3 really fun dungeons that would get me 2/3 a bar of xp. And then rinse and repeat every 7-8 levels to level 50. In short, ESO to 50 is a solo questers dream.
But not really an MMO experience.
Apparently, at level 50, you're supposed to do the same quest content of the other zones. Seriously? No thanks. Already did that on my alts. But, I hear, at least the dungeons actually allow you to progress your character at VR levels. Guess I'll never know.
ESO is a large and ambitious MMO. It has really fun game play and flexible class design. Open world pvp is a hoot. BUT, ESO has some of the most restrictive character progression of any MMO I've played (and I've played most of the big ones). At this point, I worry that ESO will not appeal broadly enough to the typical player of the MMO genre to adequately fund its development.

should have been in skull crusher the other day we pulled a 24 hour fight against ad it was awesome
NB here - having fun until there is a forced solo boss where I have to wait until I am 5 levels above the boss -or- I get my ass kicked by 3-4 trash mobs 3 levels under me because the mobs spawn on top of me during an encounter or other event -or- public dungeons designed specifically to make stealth totally useless.
Having a blast.
I love how the difficulty steps up in the vet areas making you rethink your skills & strategy for different mobs. Some skills that were not worth investing in on the road to 50 really shine in the vet areas.
I can understand how this must frustrate those who like to rush to the end, but then I have never understood the rush.
For me, the challenge & enjoyment is winning the battle in front of me, with the gear I have at that moment and with the skills I have available whether it be against a group of 3 random mercenaries or trying to duo a world boss with another player.
