Almost a VR3 NB with Bow. Things definitely have slowed down, gotten harder.

NB has some bugs. Have run into quest bugs.

but holy ****, this game is a riot. Assaulting a keep last night was close to taking it and got rolled. Can easily see some tactic changes that would have helped.

just finished the last boss in Deshaan, died three times before taking Vox out, but realized I had to block more.

Enchanting is difficult, can FINALLY make VR1-VR3 glyphs.

Had researched all but three attributes on all pieces of medium equipment, going to take a long time, but doable.

Saved up $42k for a horse, got it to level 21 now.

Crafted a hell of a bow the other day. Got 5 pieces of Kyne's equipment, fricken awesome.

Just used a skill point for silver bolts. wtf was I waiting for? Great skill. But not sure how to fit it on my skill bar. think I need to do Bow/Bow because love the bow attacks so much, but seems like Knockback isn't as good in PvP. Maybe my PvP build will be Sword and Shield. Dam, so many choices, so much fun!

Am I the only one in this game having fun?

I love this game. Having a blast.

V12, lead a very successful guild and we all love it.

Frustrated about the horribly unbalanced endgame, but it hasn't dissuaded my love for the game.

Around 70% of my guild are leveling DKs so we can still keep playing and be competitive.

Just have to understand people are always much quicker to post feedback if they have things negative to say. The happy/content players far more often remain silent. I'd say 95% of them haven't signed up to the forums.

The game is very successful so far, just needs some good leadership and they have to hire more people to get it balanced right.

Which Cyrodiil are you in? I agree, and made a decision to switch to a different campaign. new one is much more competitive. (Skullcrusher was my original, dominated by AD...I forget which one I just switched to)

I've come to accept that if I think about ESO (like trying to convince friends that it's not as bad as everyone says), I can't come up with anything that I like enough to pay $15 a month for. When I play, however, the hours just seem to slip by and I have... fun. I don't understand it, but if I just play it... I enjoy it.

I enjoy the game a lot and I always have fun when I log on. I run a guild and we've got a great group of people. The social aspect really enhances the experience.

I'm not happy to hear about the bugs and latency in PvP though and haven't gone to Cyrodil since one of my officers complained about crippling latency (US/Wabba).

That said, there's so much to do that if something is buggy I can just leave and do something else.

This game is awesome. Even with bugs and imbalances our guild has grown a month after launch. Its usally a slow bleed until the first month and then mass exodus.

The game is awesome, even for my Shield spec Templar.

I love it, is fun and should stay as is.

All these spoiled cry babies in the forums represent those 50-100 who QQ on every MMO and are the first to jump ship to another MMO.

I love the game. The secret to its enjoyment is to savor every single aspect of what the game offers. I had a lvl 11 character in Auridon receive a quest to pray at the shrines for the deceased children of some woman in Skywatch. I was surprised to find that the 4 shrines were placed at the furthest points on the map of Auridon. I took my time going from shrine to shrine, picking up herbs for my alchemy crafting and admiring the scenery. Auridon is incredibly well-crafted, and the music is stirring and beautiful. Each shrine was placed at an overlook in which you could look out at the ocean or the islands and ships cast about. I enjoyed my walkabout immensely.
Another aspect that I find that enhances the game is the social aspect. The other players are pretty uniformly great - Gracious in their willingness to help in combat, and friendly and polite in just casual encounters. Joining guilds that suit your style of play is extremely important.
I think people also need to look at their own computer setup when they run into difficulties. I built my own PC last year and hooked it up to my HDTV in living room. My specs are all great, and I've had very few problems with playing the game. I don't doubt that people are having issues, and yes, there are bugs that I"ve experienced, but overall it's been pretty smooth, and, on an HDTV the world is simply breathtaking and exciting.

This is an honest advice, if you find the forums depressing and are enjoying the game, get the hell outta here! ;)

There's quite a few problems with ESO and should you find it hard to cope with this and/or personally haven't experienced much of those, it's probably just best to stay away and in-game. All this 'negativity' here is just due to people voicing their concerns and it should never get to you, afterall most are just trying to make it a better experience for everyone.

If the game itself doesn't spoil your fun, neither should the boards. So yep, I am entertained playing this game. But it could be a lot better and has to get better, nonetheless.

Even with the problems, which ZOS -are- addressing, the game is hellaciously fun. Playing a pair of Orc Templars with my best friend. She's wearing heavy armor and swinging a 2-hander, I'm in light/heavy with resto / destro staff. We can take out any world boss.

Solo, I'm running a Bosmer Nighblade archer / dual-dagger sniper /sneaky type and can handle nearly anything the world throws at me. Especially loving Malabal Tor right now with the new Green Lady and Silvenar. Dearly love the way Grahtwood and Malabal Tor look, with thick jungles and steep cliffs and breath-taking views.

Have toons doing all the crafting so get to experience the 'joy' of bouncing around alts for 15 minutes every time any character gets to town to sell.

Overall, though, the boards don't bring me down because I can just log in and see the gorgeous world ZOS has made for us and lose myself in the fun.

I'm having fun, but I'm capable of having fun and yet being annoyed at serious problems and many questionable dev decisions at the same time. I contain multitudes. Griping about some of the game's stupid on the forums doesn't prevent me from playing and enjoying it every night, nor does it imply the stupid doesn't badly need to be fixed.

This week, for example, I've taken to writing down my quests every night when I stop playing because I have no confidence since 1.1.2 that the game won't suddenly decide to remove them from my quest log. That's the kind of thing a sane game company should very much dislike to hear ... which is why they need to hear it, and hear it often.
I have just told you more than I know.

I love it! My problem is that I have the worst attentionspan in the world.

I am on my way to a quest, to do it and of course exp, and I see something shiny in another direction. Investigate....OOPS, a glowing beast.....run away! Oh...an ore node. Better take that.

Now where was I, oh yeah, the quest....but whats down there...a house with wierd things and it glows behind it? Maybe a skyshard!

Nope, wasnt a skyshard, but a chest! Damnit! My inventory is full cause I pick up everything. Choosing what to drop and get the item and move on.

Now I am lost....I try this way.

Thats how I play, and I keep running into loads of wierd things that no one eve even metioned.

However. Getting me to do what I suppose to do, pretty much need to put me in an instance, where I focus on my tanking. And thanks LOADS for the change in the chest looting system. I used never to get a single chest...they where all gone because I was fighting. :-)

    LOVE the game.

People say "PvP is dead", that's because people are in Craglorn. We had 3 NA campaigns locked at full population the night before Craglorn came out, then the next night they weren't, so either PvP died instantly or people are in Craglorn.

People say "Barely anyone in the PvE zones". No idea what they're talking about, I still see hundreds of people running around each zone. In the Ebonheart Pact zones, at any rate, and only a few were bots.

While a lot of people are professing doom for ESO or complaining about a bug/exploit/mechanic on the forums, I'm pretty sure most people are just playing the game and having fun. I'm only on the forums because I'm at work and can't play at the moment. Otherwise I'd be playing, I'm having a blast in both PvE and PvP.

The game population will find a new balance. I sure hope Zen gets a handle on the bots, but they were all down deep in 4-man dungeons swarming their mini-armies on non-bosses yesterday.

Bu now that you oddballs are off swarming Craglorn maybe the sub-50 crowd can get back into Cyrodiil and have a prayer of not being one-shot.

Yes, a lot of people these days go on the forums to vent frustrations. It's kind of therapeutic for them (whether they that know consciously or no). Just like coming home from work after a frustrating day and talking it out with your significant other.

Those that aren't frustrated for the most part are actually playing the game, for they've no real reason to stop, no reason to seek that comfort/vent that anguish.
If you can be anything, be kind.

Yes I've been here since the end of beta and love it. First and only mmo I have ever considered and have been pleasantly surprised. Even conned my partner into playing (well if I didn't she'd forget who I was) and she doesn't usually like video games. Thanks ZOS for saving my relationship. :#
Seriously though, bots farming mats make crafting difficult at times and wreck immersion in dungeons, but this is occasional annoyance, the rest of the time I am having fun and find other players pretty nice, except that dragonknight swine who grabbed my treasure chest when I had to clear inventory, you know who you are!!! ;)
